The facilities are impressive, particularly in the preschool room, and the outside area is amazing. The food is equally brilliant. We're really pleased so far.
My son has been at the nursery since he was one and has shown a positive development in his early years. The staff work exceptionally hard and the children's development is primary. The facility has recently been upgraded and is now fantastic for all ages. Well done!
Caterham Day Nursery are a fantastic nursery. As a first-time mum, I was wary of sending my son into the care of a nursery. After viewing many in my area, it was clear this was a well established, friendly, happy and safe environment. All the staff made our experience easy going from settling sessions to day to day. They always put my mind at ease letting me know how he has been from start to finish, what he has eaten, played with, how much sleep etc. Couldn’t fault the premises or the staff and I would definitely recommend to friends and family of mine.
My daughter has been attending Caterham Day Nursery & Pre-School for over a year now. We have been delighted with the development we have seen and the staff are amazing. She always comes home having learnt something new and it has been the perfect environment to prepare her for Primary School.

The staff are always very friendly and able to tell us all that our daughter has done on a particular day.
The managers, one especially is extremely efficient and responds to any of my email enquiries promptly and substantively.

They're happy, confident and have great friendships and memories.
The way the nursery is run is very good, management are on the case.
There are good activities for the children and staff are nurturing and caring, which is important for the young children.
(As a side, the cost is very high, which is why I have put likely to recommend rather than extremely likely.)
She loves attending and has built up a strong relationship with staff.
She even asks excitedly, "Am I going to pre-school today?", and gets disappointed if not going!
The staff are wonderful and my daughter is very happy there.
My child feels very comfortable at the Asquith and we are very pleased with her progress.
I am very pleased with the nursery and the staff and know my son is in safe hands when I leave him in the mornings.
I know he is happy, he loves the activities and all the space he has both indoors and outdoors.

Meet the Team (2)
Gizem is the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Caterham, Burntwood Lane and has been part of the setting since 2016. She began her journey as an unqualified Nursery Assistant and, through dedication and continuous growth, progressed to her current leadership role.
Throughout her career, Gizem has embraced a wide range of professional development opportunities, including completing her Early Years qualification, a Level 2 certificate in Understanding Autism, and coaching training. She is currently studying for a Level 5 Bachelor's degree in Early Years, further enhancing her leadership and pedagogical skills.
Her passion for early years education shines through in her daily work. Gizem is proud to lead a committed, hardworking team and finds great reward in witnessing their impact, most notably through the joy and smiles of the children in their care.
Sophie has been a valued member of Bright Horizons for over three and a half years. She began her career as an unqualified Nursery Assistant and, through hard work, dedication and a passion for early years education, has progressed to the role of Deputy Manager.
Throughout her time at Bright Horizons, Sophie has developed strong relationships with both children and families, gaining experience across all age groups. She is especially passionate about supporting children in reaching their early developmental milestones and takes pride in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.
Sophie thrives in a busy, collaborative team and is committed to mentoring and supporting her colleagues. Her calm, approachable nature and dedication to continuous professional growth make her a key leader within the nursery.
