We have been so happy with the nursery, and my son loves going! I feel so comfortable leaving him there because I know that they look after him so well and do so many amazing activities. We couldn’t recommend it more!
I am very happy with how my son is getting on at nursery, the attention and care he receives whilst at Sandfield is second to none and I can’t thank his key workers enough for the time they spend with him. The staff at the Nursery have all been friendly to me and my whole family and are all very welcoming when ever I drop off or collect Edward. The strict measures put in place throughout the pandemic have been fantastic and has really eased any concern originally had. Overall a brilliant Nursery all round.
My daughter attended the nursery for a year and we were so pleased with our decision. Staff was very welcoming and warm. They took care of every small need of my daughter and made her comfortable all day long. The learning sessions were quite interactive and helped her to grow, understand and learn in a playful manner. She learnt most of the rhymes and performed with actions. The team was very supportive and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time in the nursery. Thank you for showering your love and blessings on her and making her happy throughout the day.
My daughter has attended the nursery and preschool for over two years now and has always experienced excellent care and support. Staff are welcoming, friendly and nurturing. They have provided a positive environment in which the children are able to learn and develop.
We are so delighted with Sandfield nursery and happy with our decision to send our son there. The staff are incredibly warm, friendly and professional and have really impressed me. They have great toys and resources and do inventive activities. My son's keyworker has even developed specific activities to follow his interests! I feel he is learning a lot there. The nursery managed the transition into nursery very well with taster sessions and adapting to his patterns, for example, sleep. With the nursery routines, his sleep has improved. The nursery communicates so well with us about key points in his day - we also love getting the regular photos and comments about what he has been doing in the week. Finally, we feel that they have managed the return to nursery following lockdown very well, and we have felt reassured. It is a big thing to leave your precious child in the care of others and we feel confident and happy in the care our son is receiving.
We are so grateful to the care provided by Sandfields Nursery. The staff have been fabulous throughout the Covid pandemic - pragmatic, sensible, safety precautions taken while communicating well with parents throughout. Our daughter loves attending nursery, and we can go to work knowing she is well-cared for. On a practical note, it is so easy dropping her off, knowing that healthy meals, snacks, suncream etc, etc. are all taken care of. Her development is well-supported, and she comes home singing new songs and telling us about stories she has read. The team supported her through potty training and are always happy to take their cues from us re. naps/routine etc. Overall, they have been exceptionally caring to my daughter, and clearly the affection runs both ways! Many thanks to all at Sandfields, you are wonderful.
Sandfield it is the perfect place to have our daughter as she is very happy playing, enjoying and learning new skills. The facilities are quite impressive with multiple gardens and a safe space for our baby girl to grow and learn, from painting to sensory play, reading etc. The staff is always fully supportive to our baby girl and to our queries. There's continuous reporting of information through the smartphone app. Coronavirus hasn't impacted the nursery's ability to deliver with a 5* service.
We couldn't recommend it more and we couldn't be more grateful for the excellent work.
My daughter has been with the nursery six months - preschool. She has been cared for so well, and I would highly recommend it.
The carers seem to really know her as an individual, tell me all about what she has done, and she is incredibly happy.
Everyone greets you and your child with a smile.
There appears very low staff turnover compared to other nurseries which speaks well for it.
The food choices are great - she eats a very varied diet with lots of fruit and veg.
The outside space is wonderful - far more than many other nurseries in towns, with lots to do.
The administration is organised and efficient, and communication with parents is great.
With regards value for money - it's not the cheapest, but the hours are long and the value of care for your child when it is done well is priceless.
Recommend.
Both of my children have attended Sandfield Day Nursery. The nursery and staff are fantastic. The care and support given to the children are outstanding. They have varieties of activities out each week which my son always enjoys. I go to work knowing my child is cared for and well looked after.
Both our children attended Sandfield Day Nursery and I can honestly say coming back a second time felt like coming back home, to a family we know and trust. When I drop my youngest off, I know that the staff immediately take over and provide a full package of care and fun and so I can go to work feeling content he is in a safe place, which is what every parent wants. What we have found really helpful is that we don’t have to worry about packing lunch, snacks, nappies or creams, everything your little one needs will be provided. The other reason we picked Sandfield over other childcare providers is that they have a lovely outdoor space with lots of opportunities for creative and sensory play. Many thanks to all the staff for supporting us and facilitating our ability to work as key workers especially over the last few months of the pandemic. It is at times like these when the integrity of your chosen childcare is truly tested, and I’m happy Sandfield did not let us down.
My daughter has been attending Sandfield Day Nursery since she was 3 months old. The staff have been amazing with both her and my husband and I. I felt extremely comfortable leaving her on that first day, and I am very pleased with how she has developed there. She loves it there! And we as parents could not be happier. Definitely the right decision!
I'm very happy with the quality of care my son has received over the past three years at Sandfield. He settled in quickly and enjoys his days there. During the lockdown he has missed not being able to attend.
I feel very lucky to be able to send my daughter to such a lovely place with such kind and genuinely caring staff. With all this uncertainty and lack of ability to see friends and family, all of you at Sandfield have become even more important. It is such a joy dropping my little girl off in the morning, knowing how happy she is and how much she loves all the people looking after her, and how brilliantly they look after her. Everyone comments on what a content, secure and cheerful baby she is, and I credit all of the staff at Sandfield for that. So thank you. And thank you for always being so accommodating and flexible- adding in extra days etc. All of this really makes such a difference to our lives. I was so anxious about going back to work full time when our little girl was only 8 months. But I really feel that Sandfield has been nothing but an enriching and positive experience for our daughter, wanting the best for her as much as we do.
She is really happy there and the care and attention she receives have also really helped her personal development.
Our daughter has been at Sandfield Day Nursery from when she was nine months old in the baby room, and will soon be leaving the pre-school to start primary school. Throughout that time all staff at the nursery have been fantastic in their care and their focus on the individual needs of each child. Importantly, there has been a very low turnover of staff (both front-facing and behind the scenes), meaning that faces that became familiar in the early months are still there, and indeed some have moved rooms and are again seen on a daily basis, providing excellent continuity. Most recently, the response to the coronavirus situation has been exemplary - with well thought out procedures to give parents options for their individual circumstances, as well as suspending fees and holding places open while only key-worker children could attend. As always the focus has been on the children, including the creation of age-appropriate resources to help the children adjust to the new systems.
We have had two children at Sandfield over the last four years, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. They have been incredibly supportive and helpful, particularly during the difficult times of the pandemic. They have given each of our children a great deal of individual attention and planned a learning journey based on their individual needs. They are always friendly and generally the most wonderful group of people you could wish to look after your child.
We’ve had two children in Sandfield’s, both starting in the baby room (Caterpillars) and going through to Preschool, and we’ve had nothing but praise for the nursery. The management is amazing (especially the direct manager). They’re approachable, inclusive, and really feel like they involve and engage the whole team and as a result, you get a real sense of the nursery working together. The staff are wonderful. They do a brilliant job with children and parents alike and have great pride in their work. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The nursery itself is bright and colourful, and they have a wonderful outside area for the kids to enjoy. They set up and involve children in projects that promote play but also learning. We can’t praise this nursery enough.
My daughter has been at Sandfield for almost two years. She has been very happy and well looked after. The nursery put a lot of time into getting to know the children as individuals and are always happy to chat at pickup. Our son is due to start soon and we highly recommend the nursery to others.
Would definitely recommend.
