Child First Banbury Nursery

I am so happy with Child First. My two children enjoy nursery very much and integrated very easily when they started. Staff is super committed and are giving the best care and attention. We as parents have a great relationship with them. Also, a big plus are the nutritious home-cooked meals.

My son loves going to this nursery and the workers know him very well. I trust them implicitly and they have helped him integrate back into nursery life very easily now that we have returned from the pandemic lockdown. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been at Child First since February 2018, when she was eight months old. I was extremely anxious about leaving her and extremely anxious every time she has moved up a room/level in the nursery, but the staff have been incredible throughout. I am so pleased our daughter went here. She has flourished! Her speech is amazing and has been from a young age with people regularly telling us how advanced she is. She is such a kind, polite, well behaved little girl and I thank Child First for that hugely. The staff are lovely. They look after the parents as much as the children. The nursery is always clean and there is so much space for the children to learn and flourish. Thanks for everything you've done over the last two and a half years. You've given our daughter the best start she could have possibly had.

Having had four children attend Child Frist, I have watched them thrive learning wise and thoroughly enjoy going to Child First each day. I have had great relationships with all members of staff involved and am kept up to date each day on collection and through newsletters and emails. My oldest child, who is ten, still has fond memories from Child First. All staff are enthusiastic and build great relationships with the children and I feel confident when leaving my child that they will get the best care and learning and most of all have fun. There is an excellent range of facilities and outdoor space for the children to explore as well as home-cooked healthy meals. I highly recommend Child First and can honestly say what a positive start to all my children's learning life.

During the lockdown she really missed nursery, this was helped by the weekly updates which allowed her to see the staff and hear some of her favourite songs. There were plenty of emails to tell us what was happening through the closedown and it was great to hear about the nursery reopening. Since she has returned it feels like she has never been away which is testament to the dedication of the staff and management team. Every day she has come out beaming.

I was feeling anxious about the return of my son to nursery after lockdown but the way that Child First Banbury conducted their communications, their safety measures and their amazing staff have made the settling back really easy for us and our child. Cannot recommend them enough!

I can’t rate this nursery high enough, they’ve been so helpful with my children and also support for me as a parent also always keeping me in the loop making sure I’m up to date with all information. Also during COVID-19, the management has kept in contact with all parents making sure we have all the right information, and when opening back up all staff have been amazing at adapting to the new way of working and helped my child settle back in so quickly! Thank you to all staff!!

Child First has been amazing for my family my eldest went to the nursery and he grew in confidence very quickly! Always used to tell me what yummy food he had that day and what he had played with that day! Now my youngest attends and he loves it just as much as my oldest. I’m very happy and trust every single one of the staff that work there!

I would highly recommend Child First Banbury after watching my son develop and strive from the age of 11 months with the help of those at the nursery. He enjoys going to nursery and will ask to go on the days he's not there. He has created bonds with both the staff and other children and will tell family members who he saw and played with at nursery that day.

Child First in Banbury has been a wonderful experience for both of my girls. My youngest still attends and bounces in each day looking forward to seeing her friends and the play that awaits. The staff are caring, fully engaged, creative and supportive. The nursery is clean, my toddler loves the food and comes back full of energy. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Child First was the only nursery I walked into which felt like a home from home and I knew instantly my son would be so excited to attend. All the staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children they look after and you can tell they are like one big family. I love seeing the weekly updates of what the children have been up to, there are always well thought out activities taking place and I can see how much our son learns from attending. The home-cooked food is always a hit (I wish he'd eat our food at home as well as he eats at nursery) and the outside areas are always available to explore. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery, it is such a relief to know he is being so well looked after that he has so much fun there. They have been so communicative during the pandemic and have worked hard ensuring the children re-settle in well and that all safety measures are in place. I’ve sent both my children to Child First. They’re an incredible nursery. All the staff are so caring and always go the extra mile. Both my children had wonderful experiences there and couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We as a family love child first nursery. All the staff are so friendly my son started over a year ago and they have spent so much time with him and got him all the help he needs. There was no doubt that when my daughter could start nursery she would go to any other nursery. They both love going to nursery and that's down to all the staff they are all so caring. I would 100% recommend Child First to any other parent.

Child First is a lovely warm environment that my daughter is striving in. The staff have been absolutely brilliant with her since her very first day almost 2 years ago. She loves going to nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since she started! The learning is free flow and the children are able to explore and be as creative and adventurous as they like. The rooms are spacious and fun and my daughter always comes out so happy, with lots of pictures and stories about her lovely day. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of sending their child to this nursery to do so.

Our children love this nursery and so do we! All the staff are friendly and professional and I never worry when I drop the kids off, I know the team can easily handle most things but I also know they'll contact me straight away if there's anything wrong. My children love the food here and they're always happy and smiling when I come to collect them.

I decided to enrol my child at Child First when he was 1 years old. It was really hard to think of leaving him but from the moment I visited Child First, I knew this was the best place for him. The staff are so kind, caring and take great interest in each child's learning, likes and dislikes. I've seen such a special bond between them and my child and he often talks about the staff at home which shows how much of a positive impact they have had. When you start coming to the nursery you feel like you've known the staff forever couldn't wish for a better start for my child. It's so lovely to see the enthusiasm and excitement when they tell you about a new thing your child has learnt and what they want to teach them next and they made potty training so easy!!

My daughter started Child First when she was 10 months old. I was very nervous about sending her to nursery but the staff were patient, reassuring and helped her to settle in well. She has made a great bond with her keyworker. All the staff are friendly, caring and make a huge effort to know the individual child and their family. They organise fun and educational activities for the children and keep families engaged and informed. They provide a varied and nutritious menu and my daughter enjoys eating with her nursery friends. The outdoor space is small but it is well used and the children have plenty of time outdoors doing different activities. We looked around several nurseries and I am so pleased that we chose Child First. When I drop her off at nursery I am confident that she will have an exciting day and will be well looked after.

I couldn’t recommend Child First highly enough, even our oldest granddaughter who is nine still talks about the nursery and the lovely staff there.

Our children have been at Child First Banbury since Oct 2013 and we've been very happy with the nursery. Great atmosphere, all-year-round care and even staff not normally associated with our children always seem to know their names. Yummy food too! The staff there are so dedicated - which has been especially apparent in their efforts to get everyone back in safely the following lockdown. I'm actually quite sad that our littlest one will be off to school soon and we won't see the Child First team any more!
