Child First Banbury Nursery is a private daycare nursery situated in two of the most historic buildings in the heart of the town, overlooking the famous Banbury Cross. The nursery is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters alike.

The nursery is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The environment is full of fun and adventure and encourages a free flow approach to learning.

Being a town centre nursery is perfect for trips to the park, visits to the library, shopping for baking ingredients and children can always be seen out and about around the town.

Three fully equipped outdoor play areas within the setting ensure that children can always play, learn and explore outside, whatever the weather.

The onsite nursery chef prepares fresh, tasty and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

Parents and guardians can confidently leave, knowing that children are safe and secure and that they will have a great time, with days full of variety and fun ensuring they become happy, secure and confident little learners.

Child First has been amazing for my family my eldest went to the nursery and he grew in confidence very quickly! Always used to tell me what yummy food he had that day and what he had played with that day! Now my youngest attends and he loves it just as much as my oldest. I’m very happy and trust every

I would highly recommend Child First Banbury after watching my son develop and strive from the age of 11 months with the help of those at the nursery. He enjoys going to nursery and will ask to go on the days he's not there. He has created bonds with both the staff and other children and will tell family
members who he saw and played with at nursery that day.

Child First in Banbury has been a wonderful experience for both of my girls. My youngest still attends and bounces in each day looking forward to seeing her friends and the play that awaits. The staff are caring, fully engaged, creative and supportive. The nursery is clean, my toddler loves the food
and comes back full of energy. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Child First was the only nursery I walked into which felt like a home from home and I knew instantly my son would be so excited to attend. All the staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children they look after and you can tell they are like one big family. I love seeing the weekly updates
of what the children have been up to, there are always well thought out activities taking place and I can see how much our son learns from attending. The home-cooked food is always a hit (I wish he'd eat our food at home as well as he eats at nursery) and the outside areas are always available to explore. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery, it is such a relief to know he is being so well looked after that he has so much fun there. They have been so communicative during the pandemic and have worked hard ensuring the children re-settle in well and that all safety measures are in place. Thank you to everyone at Child First Banbury.

I’ve sent both my children to Child First. They’re an incredible nursery. All the staff are so caring and always go the extra mile. Both my children had wonderful experiences there and couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We as a family love child first nursery. All the staff are so friendly my son started over a year ago and they have spent so much time with him and got him all the help he needs. There was no doubt that when my daughter could start nursery she would go to any other nursery. They both love going to nursery
and that's down to all the staff they are all so caring. I would 100% recommend Child First to any other parent.

Child First is a lovely warm environment that my daughter is striving in. The staff have been absolutely brilliant with her since her very first day almost 2 years ago. She loves going to nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since she started! The learning is free flow and the children are able
to explore and be as creative and adventurous as they like. The rooms are spacious and fun and my daughter always comes out so happy, with lots of pictures and stories about her lovely day. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of sending their child to this nursery to do so.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 10 months old and I can not fault them in any way
They are always so nice to speak to and always have time to give me feedback on how my daughters day has been.
The staff at the nursery are lovely and attentive to her sometimes being emotional and
I know that’s she is always in the best care with them
Since the reopening of the nursery due to Covid-19 the staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that my daughter is kept safe and to help her understand the situation and I applaud them for their hard work and dedication
I would recommend this nursery 100%

Our children love this nursery and so do we! All the staff are friendly and professional and I never worry when I drop the kids off, I know the team can easily handle most things but I also know they'll contact me straight away if there's anything wrong. I decided to enrol my child at Child First when he was 1 years old. It was really hard to think of leaving him but from the moment I visited Child First, I knew this was the best place for him. The staff are so kind, caring and take great interest in each child's learning, likes and dislikes. I've seen
such a special bond between them and my child and he often talks about the staff at home which shows how much of a positive impact they have had. When you start coming to the nursery you feel like you've known the staff forever couldn't wish for a better start for my child. It's so lovely to see the enthusiasm and excitement when they tell you about a new thing your child has learnt and what they want to teach them next and they made potty training so easy!!

My daughter started Child First when she was 10 months old. I was very nervous about sending her to nursery but the staff were patient, reassuring and helped her to settle in well. She has made a great bond with her keyworker. All the staff are friendly, caring and make a huge effort to know the individual
child and their family. They organise fun and educational activities for the children and keep families engaged and informed. They provide a varied and nutritious menu and my daughter enjoys eating with her nursery friends. The outdoor space is small but it is well used and the children have plenty of time outdoors doing different activities. We looked around several nurseries and I am so pleased that we chose Child First. When I drop her off at nursery I am confident that she will have an exciting day and will be well looked after.

My two grandchildren went to Child First Nursery and both loved it.
They were both very shy when they were little but the nursery really helped and they left for school confident little girls.
I couldn’t recommend Child First highly enough, even our oldest granddaughter who is nine still talks about
the nursery and the lovely staff there.

Our children have been at Child First Banbury since Oct 2013 and we've been very happy with the nursery. Great atmosphere, all-year-round care and even staff not normally associated with our children always seem to know their names. Yummy food too! The staff there are so dedicated - which has been
especially apparent in their efforts to get everyone back in safely the following lockdown. I'm actually quite sad that our littlest one will be off to school soon and we won't see the Child First team any more!

Our son has been at Child First for over a year, and he loves it. We chose Child First mainly because of the location, and as soon as we went to visit we knew we had made the right choice. Our son settled in quickly, and he is clearly learning new things while he is there. All the staff members know
our son, even if they don't work in the same room as he is in. They seem to do some really interesting activities with him, and it's so lovely when he comes home with homemade things. The staff are all very helpful, and always reply super quickly if we have any questions. Overall the nursery is excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Child First Banbury provides excellent childcare service. Both my children have attended the nursery since they were 1 year old. I believe this has developed their confidence and improved their communication skills. They both really enjoy going to nursery and are always willing to attend.
The staff
are excellent. Very helpful, friendly and dedicated to the children. The front of house, Management and Catering Team also provide a great service.

Absolutely amazing nursery fantastic staff. I have used Child First since it opened and my children have really benefited from being there. We have great relationships with all the staff and my children have always formed a good relationship with their keyworkers. They make you feel welcomed and are
fantastic support. My youngest is going to be heartbroken when she leaves in July.

Child First Banbury is an incredible nursery with a warm and friendly atmosphere. As a parent, I have been very impressed by the staff's commitment and knowledge of the children. The spaces are bright, cheerful and incredibly well-resourced with imaginative and tactile activities for the children to
engage in and the food is nutritious and delicious.
My son started in their baby room and his transition to nursery was seamless. Staff encouraged and comforted him in an extraordinary fashion and I was amazed by the new skills he acquired. He went from not napping at home or taking a bottle to happily settling down for a morning and afternoon nap, and he started taking a bottle from his first day there! I felt completely involved in his learning because staff shared photos, videos and observations with me. The sessions they run for parents are also extremely helpful, particularly the first aid course.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I don't have enough good things to say about Child First in Banbury. My two-year-old has grown into a confident, chatty, sociable little girl under the nurturing, creative and caring watch of all the people who work here. Her days are clearly full of opportunities for lots of fun and learning as well
as delicious food. We've also really appreciated the flexibility and common sense approach of the staff and management. I'd highly recommend it.

We took the decision to enrol our daughter into Child First following an awful experience with a childminder. This was one of 3 nurseries we had approached and they won me over on the spot during the viewing! I even signed my daughter up there and then and it has honestly been the best decision I’ve
ever made.
The staff go above and beyond any childcare I’ve experienced and helped make me comfortable leaving my young daughter with someone else again.
I’m met every morning and afternoon to a warm welcome and each day, my daughter is offered a huge amount of sensory activities to undertake.
The handover at the end of the day goes into incredible detail and the quality of the food provided is fantastic. My daughter has dietary needs and all of these are catered to fantastically.
The most important part of all is that my daughter beams with smiles on both drop off and collection and has created a great bond with all of the staff there.

Child First Banbury has been one of the most important choices we have made and it does feel like it has been the best. Our daughter has been going to nursery for the past 3 years and I love how far she has progressed and how confident she has become. She loves the nursery, her friends and the wonderful
