Child First Banbury Nursery

My little boy has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old and is still there now at 2. We have always been impressed with the communication from his key people in this time and he is always happy to run in to his room. Everyday we are told he has eaten his food and sometimes finished a second portion too! It is always a good mixture of home favourites and some new meals too. He has recently moved down to the 2 year old room where he is really enjoying the outdoor garden space, no matter what the weather brings. The nursery share photos a couple of times a month which are really nice to receive whilst at work. It is so nice to send my little boy in to nursery knowing he is happy and going to have a great day!

Great overall experience and helpful to my child. Great development and learning for my child and assisting in my child’s progress. Friendly and great keyperson that went the extra mile. They worked hand in hand with us.

Child First Nursery is an exceptional child care setting! The amazing nursery staff are so lovely and friendly. My daughter absolutely loves attending pre school. The food they provide from the wonderful onsite chef is exceptional and has really improved my child’s eating habits. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.

Would really recommend to anyone who is looking for a safe environment, full-on fun for their little one!

Whilst we haven't been able to see our child in the nursery because of the restrictions, we are absolutely certain that she is taken care of the best way possible. She loves the people who take care of her, she is always happy to go and always has a big smile at the end of the day. All of the staff we met are welcoming, reassuring, friendly and very professional. I don't think there is anything else I could hope for.

I have been really pleased with Child First Banbury Nursery. My son joined when he was eight months old and has now been there two months. The staff have been great and really helped my son settle in. He now loves it there and I have noticed a definite improvement in his abilities since he’s been there. They have a good variety of toys and activities and a great array of home-cooked meals. Thank you very much, Child First Banbury Nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves it, every morning she wakes up with a smile and is very exited to go to nursery, say hi to the teachers and play with her friends. The food is amazing and my daughter eats a full meal, snacks and tea, she really enjoy it. The outside areas are very big and full of toys to play with, they also do a lot of activities like colouring and making new creations out of paper. They get your little ones to make cards for special days like valentines, mothers day and many more. Your children really get good education and you have nothing to worry about. The staff are really nice, polite and help you with anything that you need. Overall, I really highly recommend this nursery because its a really good source of education and your kids will have lots of fun. Thank you so much for everything that you have done for my daughter, it is very much appreciated.

Just to give a viewpoint from a lockdown and pandemic nursery start, we started at Child First Banbury Nursery in October last year when my daughter was twelve months old, having grown up as a lockdown baby. Child First Banbury Nursery have been brilliant throughout the whole process, very reassuring and always quick to respond to queries. I was particularly anxious about the settling in process and we made a plan for it together, thankfully it went very smoothly and my little one is so happy going in now. She launches herself from my arms to theirs! I was really considering not using a nursery given the current climate but I am so grateful for the normality, richness of experiences and human contact it gives my little one, especially with no local family to rely on. I particularly love the free-flow child-led approach. The staff are really wonderful, especially given the risk they take everyday by coming to work, they are so cheery and welcoming and I really trust leaving my little one with them.

Our daughter loves attending nursery and she gains so much from it. She has a great relationship with her key worker and always seems so excited to spend the day with her. It’s wonderful that she can attend somewhere that not only attends to the necessary childcare needed while we work but also brings her so much joy and education. This seems especially important as she was born just before the pandemic and so nursery has been the first opportunity she has had to socialise with other children and adults. We would highly recommend Child First Banbury Nursery.

All staff are welcoming and will go above and beyond to help with any questions you need answering. The nursery is very child-focused and you can sense it from the front door; it is very welcoming and inviting. Child First Banbury is an amazing nursery and goes above and beyond expectations. I wanted to thank all staff for their continued hard work, prior and during Covid19, the level of care has not changed and you can see each member of staff is there to provide love, nurture and comfort to each child that enters the building. It really is a home from home for my little boy and I feel more than comfortable in leaving my little boy in the care of Child First.

The varying daily activities have been amazing for her development. The onsite chef is incredible! She now eats foods that I couldn't even get near her before!

Two of my children go to Child First Nursery. They are such a lovely, welcoming nursery. I was very nervous about putting my nine-month-old in so young but I needn’t have worried because they made her feel so comfortable and she settled in straight away. It is a home away from home. They were also so flexible when I wanted to increase the hours and had that put in place within a week. Such kind, caring staff and we couldn’t be happier sending our children there knowing they are getting the best care and attention. Not only that, but my three-year-old comes home learning something new every day. They stretch the children’s mind and he has come on leaps and bounds. Thank you Child First!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Child First Banbury; from the beautiful setting to the passionate and caring members of staff, it really is an exemplary nursery. Both our children have attended Child First and have absolutely loved it. The child-led ethos creates such a wonderful environment for the children to grow - I have truly felt that our children's interests have been pursued and nurtured. The staff clearly love their jobs and are so welcoming to both children and their families - the team are managed by a team who are so supportive and accommodating to individual needs. The food offered is all made fresh within the house and the menu is always varied and appetising. It's a huge weight off of our minds knowing that our children have been so happy and well cared for whilst we've been at work. It really is a home from home. We'll miss them all dearly when they outgrow Child First!

This is an incredible nursery that I couldn't rate highly enough! The culture and staff are amazing. My daughter is currently at the nursery and LOVES going here and has thrived since she started. My son also went to Child First. He has special needs, epilepsy and was fed via an NG tube and the team at Child First couldn't have been more accommodating to his needs. They undertook additional training and worked closely with the special needs team to deliver the best care possible for him, often going above and beyond. His key workers/ management got to know him so well and were all so amazing and we couldn't have hoped to find a better caring and compassionate team to look after him. It goes without saying that we have a special attachment to this wonderful nursery. The staff are caring and engaging. The food is amazing and all sourced locally and prepared onsite by the chef. The structure of the day is brilliant and my daughter loves all the activities, especially the messy play!

My niece beams when she knows she is going to nursery and is very happy when there. When I collect her, the nursery is filled with laughter and lots of messy play - (which she loves). I'm always greeted with smiles from the staff, who are friendly and approachable.

My niece attends and has done for two years. I am always welcomed with a smile when I collect her. Over the last two years, I’ve seen my niece turn into a very sociable and creative character, and this is down to the nursery.

My grandchildren went to this nursery; they loved it. Every day was an adventure. My desk at home is covered with all the paintings and treasures they made me at the nursery. I always felt safe leaving them with the staff; who were very professional and kind.

My son has been attending Child First since 2018. I was extremely apprehensive when he started, but the staff made his integration seamless. Every member of staff across the board has been amazing. Their attention to detail is second to none with everything always spotless. The chefs are fantastic and the home-cooked meals/snacks are nutritious. Both my son and I will miss them all when he moves on. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to all families.
