Child First Banbury Nursery is a private daycare nursery situated in two of the most historic buildings in the heart of the town, overlooking the famous Banbury Cross. The nursery is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters alike.

The nursery is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The environment is full of fun and adventure and encourages a free flow approach to learning.

Being a town centre nursery is perfect for trips to the park, visits to the library, shopping for baking ingredients and children can always be seen out and about around the town.

Three fully equipped outdoor play areas within the setting ensure that children can always play, learn and explore outside, whatever the weather.

The onsite nursery chef prepares fresh, tasty and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

Parents and guardians can confidently leave, knowing that children are safe and secure and that they will have a great time, with days full of variety and fun ensuring they become happy, secure and confident little learners.

Our son has been at Child First for over a year, and he loves it. We chose Child First mainly because of the location, and as soon as we went to visit we knew we had made the right choice. Our son settled in quickly, and he is clearly learning new things while he is there. All the staff members know
our son, even if they don't work in the same room as he is in. They seem to do some really interesting activities with him, and it's so lovely when he comes home with homemade things. The staff are all very helpful, and always reply super quickly if we have any questions. Overall the nursery is excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Child First Banbury provides excellent childcare service. Both my children have attended the nursery since they were 1 year old. I believe this has developed their confidence and improved their communication skills. They both really enjoy going to nursery and are always willing to attend.
The staff
are excellent. Very helpful, friendly and dedicated to the children. The front of house, Management and Catering Team also provide a great service.

Absolutely amazing nursery fantastic staff. I have used Child First since it opened and my children have really benefited from being there. We have great relationships with all the staff and my children have always formed a good relationship with their keyworkers. They make you feel welcomed and are
fantastic support. My youngest is going to be heartbroken when she leaves in July.

Child First Banbury is an incredible nursery with a warm and friendly atmosphere. As a parent, I have been very impressed by the staff's commitment and knowledge of the children. The spaces are bright, cheerful and incredibly well-resourced with imaginative and tactile activities for the children to
engage in and the food is nutritious and delicious.
My son started in their baby room and his transition to nursery was seamless. Staff encouraged and comforted him in an extraordinary fashion and I was amazed by the new skills he acquired. He went from not napping at home or taking a bottle to happily settling down for a morning and afternoon nap, and he started taking a bottle from his first day there! I felt completely involved in his learning because staff shared photos, videos and observations with me. The sessions they run for parents are also extremely helpful, particularly the first aid course.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I don't have enough good things to say about Child First in Banbury. My two-year-old has grown into a confident, chatty, sociable little girl under the nurturing, creative and caring watch of all the people who work here. Her days are clearly full of opportunities for lots of fun and learning as well
as delicious food. We've also really appreciated the flexibility and common sense approach of the staff and management. I'd highly recommend it.

We took the decision to enrol our daughter into Child First following an awful experience with a childminder. This was one of 3 nurseries we had approached and they won me over on the spot during the viewing! I even signed my daughter up there and then and it has honestly been the best decision I’ve
ever made.
The staff go above and beyond any childcare I’ve experienced and helped make me comfortable leaving my young daughter with someone else again.
I’m met every morning and afternoon to a warm welcome and each day, my daughter is offered a huge amount of sensory activities to undertake.
The handover at the end of the day goes into incredible detail and the quality of the food provided is fantastic. My daughter has dietary needs and all of these are catered to fantastically.
The most important part of all is that my daughter beams with smiles on both drop off and collection and has created a great bond with all of the staff there.

Child First Banbury has been one of the most important choices we have made and it does feel like it has been the best. My child absolutely loves attending Child First Banbury. He's always doing something different and trying new things. He loves messy play and all the staff are really friendly, and I feel they really do know the children one to one. The food is amazing too, home-cooked and my child really loves it!

My grandsons both attended this setting from an early age and l cannot fault the wonderful care and attention they received from the staff. Having worked in an educational setting myself for many years, l can appreciate the hard work and commitment of the staff and the management that work here. My
grandsons experienced such a positive start to their learning journey that as a consequence they are both academically exceeding in meeting their targets in their current primary setting.
They will often share their wonderful memories of their time at this nursery and this is a credit to the members of staff who work tirelessly to ensure that the provision they provide is both stimulating, educational and above all enjoyable. All the elements that children need to become successful and confident learners. As a family, we were so impressed with this setting that when the time came there was no hesitation in enrolling our granddaughter who is currently attending and thriving as a result.

My granddaughter attends this nursery as did my grandsons before her. When a child attends a nursery there is always the fear they will not settle and will be distressed. This could not be further from the truth at Child First Banbury Nursery. The staff go above and beyond with the children attending
here. The nursery is clean very well equipped and very professionally run, I found the staff approachable at all times and always engaging with the children to the point both my grandsons have excelled with their learning curve prior to them starting school. My granddaughter is also a happy, adventurous and clever little girl who the staff care for with the utmost commitment. I can not recommend this nursery enough and thank all the staff for taking care of my precious grandchildren.

I have a close relationship with Child First Banbury which is attended by my granddaughter. I have had the pleasure of being 'Father Christmas' for two years. The caring attitude of the staff and the happiness of the children would be obvious to anyone spending some time there. There is a feeling of

My boys love coming to this nursery so much. Their development has come on leaps and bounds. So many different activities for them, each day is different. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Both of my children have attended/currently attend Child First - it is a wonderful nursery. The staff care so much about all of the children, and it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know them over the past four years. They are so kind, generous
with their time and compassionate. The children have great fun all day. The activities are creative, they learn so much, the food is freshly made and both of my children absolutely love/loved it here. I could not ask for more. I know when I leave in the morning, they will be cared for and have fun all day. When I pick up at night, they are happy and I am given a full report of everything they have been up to all day. I feel very lucky to have found Child First!

I’ve chosen this nursery for my older son over three years ago, he started in a baby room and now he is in pre-school, his younger brother followed his footsteps and recently also moved to Pre-school. They both absolutely love it, they come home happy and excited about all the amazing activities they
did though out the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they look at each child as individuals. Food provided by nursery is very nutritious and from the local suppliers to what I’ve seen. Nursery runs lots of events throughout the year and supports the local community by building a relationship with the local care home. Having access to tapestry allows parents to track they children development. I couldn’t be happier with the choice of the nursery and I can strongly recommend it.

What an amazing nursery! They go out of their way to help you and your child, made my daughter and son feel soo welcome and they loved coming every day. A variety of activities to stimulate them and monitored their learning amazingly, even offering home learning packs to do at home and of course their
library where we could take different books home to read so we weren’t reading the same ones all the time. The food was amazing and they did a wide range of food, all healthy and even getting the children to help with the cooking and getting involved. Their visits to the elderly homes were amazing and my child always came home talking about the friends she had made on the visits. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a home from home approach and excellent standards of care.

So happy that my son had the opportunity to find such great friends and staff for the time spent there. He learned so many things and was so happy always in the morning when he had to go there.
Staff are so good and very friendly.
In the beginning, my son didn't eat but whilst being here a while,
he has started eating with his friends and I'm so pleased. He always comes home and imitating his teachers and what they do at nursery with them and pretend he is a teacher as well.
Now he has to start school in September and he is so sad that he won't see his friends and teachers anymore. Would love to stay with them even for school if it would be possible.
I highly recommend this nursery.

We are very happy we chose this nursery. My children are settling really well into the preschool. Staff are caring, kind and gentle. There is definitely a fun atmosphere which children this young need. They are slowly growing in confidence with great support from the staff. Great nursery.

Child First is a very good establishment housed in the old Banbury Museum, a lovely building.
The staff are dedicated to our children and their ethos is based around fun, something we need to remember as our kids are very young! Food is excellent, cooked from scratch.

Both my son and daughter attend Child First and love it! They both have a very good relationship with their key workers and staff in their room.
