Child First Banbury Nursery is a private daycare nursery situated in two of the most historic buildings in the heart of the town, overlooking the famous Banbury Cross. The nursery is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters alike.

The nursery is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The environment is full of fun and adventure and encourages a free flow approach to learning.

Being a town centre nursery is perfect for trips to the park, visits to the library, shopping for baking ingredients and children can always be seen out and about around the town.

Three fully equipped outdoor play areas within the setting ensure that children can always play, learn and explore outside, whatever the weather.

The onsite nursery chef prepares fresh, tasty and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

Parents and guardians can confidently leave, knowing that children are safe and secure and that they will have a great time, with days full of variety and fun ensuring they become happy, secure and confident little learners.

We have used Child First Banbury since 2017 with our eldest. We have always trusted the staff with out children, they are kind, thoughtful and really care about the children. The play and learning is well thought out and lots of interactive trays, cooking and water play.

I;ve been using this nursery since 2021 and overall it has been a positive journey. There was a period when the service did not quite meet expectations, however, since the change in management, the transformation has been very noticeable. It's reassuring to see how much progress has been made. The improvements
have restored my confidence and I feel comfortable recommending the nursery to other parents looking for a supportive and caring setting.

Great staff, all the staff are absolutely amazing , my daughter loves them and make me so happy that she is so well looked after, I had doubts in the beginning but after the first 3 time I left her at the nursery and they put my daughter to sleep , feed her and seen my baby enjoying so much , made my

Overall staff members are great, a special review for the Nursery Practitioner who really goes out of her way to deliver such good care with her kind and caring nature. My daughter adores her. Updates on the app are not regular and are not updated at all. This would be something I would say needs improving,
considering the amount the nursery costs. I believe there should be daily updates like other nurseries on the app.

My daughter has been at Child First for 2 and a half years and has enjoyed every minute. She is always so happy to attend and has made a lot of friends.
All the staff are wonderful and very hard to make sure that all the children are well cared for and enjoy every day.

My son attended Child First, Banbury from 8 months until just before his 3rd birthday - the only reason for leaving was a family relocation. We miss the staff daily! They made life so easy for us and our son was unbelievably happy in their care. He developed well in each of the rooms, moving from room
to room with no issues as he grew. He ate well (often second portions!) and enjoyed a huge range of well thought out activities. He was most happy in the garden, which was encouraged all year round. There are several staff members that became more like family to us and would take a genuine interest in our child's outside life too. I never worried about leaving him each day and knew he would be perfectly safe and particularly well looked after. I can't recommend Child First Banbury any higher.

Amazing staff and nursery! My 1 year old has just started at the Child First Banbury Nursery and he has settled in so quickly with no tears! He has developed a really strong bond with his key worker, to the point he runs up to her for a cuddle and waves goodbye to me and points to the toys so she will
play (he only started a couple of weeks ago and does 2 days a week). I am so happy he enjoys it and I was shocked at how well his first few sessions have gone considering he started a different nursery (more local) and cried non stop! Two members of staff in particular are so friendly, really care for the babies, I couldn't ask for better staff. My son loves going to nursery to play and seeing all the different activities set up each day. In my show round it was clear the nursery has been run very well and has a hands on management team and manager! Who joins the rooms and gets involved with the children to come up with ideas to improve the nursery and development of the children.

My son attended the nursery since he was 2 and settled in really well. The staff were kind, caring and attentive to his needs. He has just started school and after recently having his first parents' evening and hearing how well he is doing is a testament to the staff at the nursery and in the preschool
room. Our little girl has just started in the baby room and again has settled really well. I couldn’t be happier with the nursery.

My son goes to Child First. I’ve had nothing but good things from the admin staff through to my son's key workers. You can tell the staff love what they do, it shows in so many ways, as most parents are aware it’s hard leaving your child, but I have no worries at all and they made everything so much

My little boy has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old and is still there now at 2. We have always been impressed with the communication from his key people in this time and he is always happy to run in to his room. Everyday we are told he has eaten his food and sometimes finished a second
portion too! It is always a good mixture of home favourites and some new meals too. He has recently moved down to the 2 year old room where he is really enjoying the outdoor garden space, no matter what the weather brings. The nursery share photos a couple of times a month which are really nice to receive whilst at work. It is so nice to send my little boy in to nursery knowing he is happy and going to have a great day!

Child First Nursery is an exceptional child care setting! The amazing nursery staff are so lovely and friendly. My daughter absolutely loves attending pre school. The food they provide from the wonderful onsite chef is exceptional and has really improved my child’s eating habits. Definitely would recommend
to anyone looking for a nursery.

We have been attending Child First Banbury Nursery since February 2021. From researching extensively local nurseries this one came out on top for us. Not only did they offer availability for the working hours we wanted but they provide everything: nappies, formula, food etc (and the food is all freshly
prepared on-site too which is a bonus!).
The staff have always been nothing but extremely helpful and lovely and it is clear that a bond was made straight away - we haven’t had any tears to go in, just smiles and arms open ready for a day of fun!
We always get daily updates on what’s happened in the day and the communication for us has always been great too.
Would really recommend to anyone who is looking for a safe environment, full-on fun for their little one!

My son attends this nursery, and loves every moment he is there.
The nursery have plenty of learning opportunities through play. The environment is safe and the staff are friendly and caring.
I have full confidence in leaving him in the mornings knowing he will enjoy his day.

Whilst we haven't been able to see our child in the nursery because of the restrictions, we are absolutely certain that she is taken care of the best way possible. She loves the people who take care of her, she is always happy to go and always has a big smile at the end of the day. All of the staff
we met are welcoming, reassuring, friendly and very professional. I don't think there is anything else I could hope for.

I have been really pleased with Child First Banbury Nursery. My son joined when he was eight months old and has now been there two months. The staff have been great and really helped my son settle in. He now loves it there and I have noticed a definite improvement in his abilities since he’s been there.
They have a good variety of toys and activities and a great array of home-cooked meals. Thank you very much, Child First Banbury Nursery.
