Child First Banbury Nursery is a private daycare nursery situated in two of the most historic buildings in the heart of the town, overlooking the famous Banbury Cross. The nursery is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters alike.

The nursery is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The environment is full of fun and adventure and encourages a free flow approach to learning.

Being a town centre nursery is perfect for trips to the park, visits to the library, shopping for baking ingredients and children can always be seen out and about around the town.

Three fully equipped outdoor play areas within the setting ensure that children can always play, learn and explore outside, whatever the weather.

The onsite nursery chef prepares fresh, tasty and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

Parents and guardians can confidently leave, knowing that children are safe and secure and that they will have a great time, with days full of variety and fun ensuring they become happy, secure and confident little learners.

My daughter has attended nursery since September 2020 and loves it. Nursery have been fantastic in settling her in, they are so welcoming and clearly care about her. I was particularly worried as due to Covid she had limited interactions with others and was really quite shy however she has come out
of her shell massively and is so unbelievably confident and that is in part due to how fantastic nursery are.
The communication from nursery is always brilliant and it is clear that staff really know the children well and care.
I have also worked with the nursery professionally before my daughter attended and have always been impressed with their safeguarding procedures.

Caring, attentive, kind and fun. Just a few words to describe the amazing team at Child First Banbury. My daughter absolutely adores her time here and always comes home full of smiles. The varying daily activities have been amazing for her development. The onsite chef is incredible! She now eats foods

Two of my children go to Child First Nursery. They are such a lovely, welcoming nursery. I was very nervous about putting my nine-month-old in so young but I needn’t have worried because they made her feel so comfortable and she settled in straight away. It is a home away from home. They were also so
flexible when I wanted to increase the hours and had that put in place within a week. Such kind, caring staff and we couldn’t be happier sending our children there knowing they are getting the best care and attention. Not only that, but my three-year-old comes home learning something new every day. They stretch the children’s mind and he has come on leaps and bounds. Thank you Child First!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Child First Banbury; from the beautiful setting to the passionate and caring members of staff, it really is an exemplary nursery. Both our children have attended Child First and have absolutely loved it. The child-led ethos creates such a wonderful environment for the
children to grow - I have truly felt that our children's interests have been pursued and nurtured. The staff clearly love their jobs and are so welcoming to both children and their families - the team are managed by a team who are so supportive and accommodating to individual needs. The food offered is all made fresh within the house and the menu is always varied and appetising. It's a huge weight off of our minds knowing that our children have been so happy and well cared for whilst we've been at work. It really is a home from home. We'll miss them all dearly when they outgrow Child First!

This is an incredible nursery that I couldn't rate highly enough! The culture and staff are amazing. My daughter is currently at the nursery and LOVES going here and has thrived since she started. My son also went to Child First. He has special needs, epilepsy and was fed via an NG tube and the team
at Child First couldn't have been more accommodating to his needs. They undertook additional training and worked closely with the special needs team to deliver the best care possible for him, often going above and beyond. His key workers/ management got to know him so well and were all so amazing and we couldn't have hoped to find a better caring and compassionate team to look after him. It goes without saying that we have a special attachment to this wonderful nursery. The staff are caring and engaging. The food is amazing and all sourced locally and prepared onsite by the chef. The structure of the day is brilliant and my daughter loves all the activities, especially the messy play!

My niece beams when she knows she is going to nursery and is very happy when there. When I collect her, the nursery is filled with laughter and lots of messy play - (which she loves). I'm always greeted with smiles from the staff, who are friendly and approachable.

My niece attends and has done for two years. I am always welcomed with a smile when I collect her. Over the last two years, I’ve seen my niece turn into a very sociable and creative character, and this is down to the nursery.

My grandchildren went to this nursery; they loved it. Every day was an adventure. My desk at home is covered with all the paintings and treasures they made me at the nursery. I always felt safe leaving them with the staff; who were very professional and kind.

My son has been attending Child First since 2018. I was extremely apprehensive when he started, but the staff made his integration seamless. Every member of staff across the board has been amazing. Their attention to detail is second to none with everything always spotless. The chefs are fantastic
and the home-cooked meals/snacks are nutritious. Both my son and I will miss them all when he moves on. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to all families.

I am so happy with Child First. My two children enjoy nursery very much and integrated very easily when they started. Staff is super committed and are giving the best care and attention. We as parents have a great relationship with them. Also, a big plus are the nutritious home-cooked meals.

My son loves going to this nursery and the workers know him very well. I trust them implicitly and they have helped him integrate back into nursery life very easily now that we have returned from the pandemic lockdown. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been at Child First since February 2018, when she was eight months old. I was extremely anxious about leaving her and extremely anxious every time she has moved up a room/level in the nursery, but the staff have been incredible throughout. I am so pleased our daughter went here. She
has flourished! Her speech is amazing and has been from a young age with people regularly telling us how advanced she is. She is such a kind, polite, well behaved little girl and I thank Child First for that hugely. The staff are lovely. They look after the parents as much as the children. The nursery is always clean and there is so much space for the children to learn and flourish. Thanks for everything you've done over the last two and a half years. You've given our daughter the best start she could have possibly had.

Having had four children attend Child Frist, I have watched them thrive learning wise and thoroughly enjoy going to Child First each day. I have had great relationships with all members of staff involved and am kept up to date each day on collection and through newsletters and emails. My oldest child,
who is ten, still has fond memories from Child First. All staff are enthusiastic and build great relationships with the children and I feel confident when leaving my child that they will get the best care and learning and most of all have fun. There is an excellent range of facilities and outdoor space for the children to explore as well as home-cooked healthy meals. I highly recommend Child First and can honestly say what a positive start to all my children's learning life.

My granddaughter has attended Child First since she was 11 months old. She is now almost three and loves every minute of her time in the nursery and with the staff. The staff are always welcoming when I pick up, they are knowledgeable about her day and likes and dislikes and there is a lovely bond between
the staff and children. It is great to hear her talk about her friends and the names of the staff. I also really enjoy the regular updates on the app as it helps me keep up with what she is learning day to day.
During the lockdown she really missed nursery, this was helped by the weekly updates which allowed her to see the staff and hear some of her favourite songs. There were plenty of emails to tell us what was happening through the closedown and it was great to hear about the nursery reopening. Since she has returned it feels like she has never been away which is testament to the dedication of the staff and management team. Every day she has come out beaming.

I was feeling anxious about the return of my son to nursery after lockdown but the way that Child First Banbury conducted their communications, their safety measures and their amazing staff have made the settling back really easy for us and our child. Cannot recommend them enough!

I can’t rate this nursery high enough, they’ve been so helpful with my children and also support for me as a parent also always keeping me in the loop making sure I’m up to date with all information. Also during COVID-19, the management has kept in contact with all parents making sure we have all the
right information, and when opening back up all staff have been amazing at adapting to the new way of working and helped my child settle back in so quickly! Thank you to all staff!!

I would highly recommend Child First Banbury after watching my son develop and strive from the age of 11 months with the help of those at the nursery. He enjoys going to nursery and will ask to go on the days he's not there. He has created bonds with both the staff and other children and will tell family
members who he saw and played with at nursery that day.

Child First in Banbury has been a wonderful experience for both of my girls. My youngest still attends and bounces in each day looking forward to seeing her friends and the play that awaits. The staff are caring, fully engaged, creative and supportive. The nursery is clean, my toddler loves the food
and comes back full of energy. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Child First was the only nursery I walked into which felt like a home from home and I knew instantly my son would be so excited to attend. All the staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children they look after and you can tell they are like one big family. I love seeing the weekly updates
of what the children have been up to, there are always well thought out activities taking place and I can see how much our son learns from attending. The home-cooked food is always a hit (I wish he'd eat our food at home as well as he eats at nursery) and the outside areas are always available to explore. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery, it is such a relief to know he is being so well looked after that he has so much fun there. They have been so communicative during the pandemic and have worked hard ensuring the children re-settle in well and that all safety measures are in place. Thank you to everyone at Child First Banbury.
