Child First Banbury Nursery

Really positive experience since being here. My childs development socially has come on leaps & bounds, before coming here she struggled with separation & trusting adults; since being here she has changed & is much less anxious, we owe it to the work & socialisation with staff & other children.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, we are very happy with how much our son is learning.

Our son is very happy at Child First. he is safe and is making great strides in all areas. He has made friends and enjoys all the activities they are doing.

My experience is excellent. Austin is always so happy to be here and this is the most important. All staff is so kind and warm and helpful. Learning and care is on the very high level. I love that the rooms are so big and Austin has space to do so many activities. Austin never said that he doesn't like to be here and this tells me it is just perfect place for him.

Our daughter loves her time at nursery and looks forward to being dropped off each morning. Her development has come on leaps and bounds since being at Child First.

My son has been since he turned one and I've always been impressed by the warm, welcoming environment and kind staff. They put on lots of activities and I know he loves the food!

Austins time in Sweetpeas has been brilliant. He is excited to go in every morning and loves showing off the things he has made during the day in arts and crafts. He has made some really good friends during his time at the nursery and is looking forward to seeing some old ones when he moves to pre-school!

Created an amazing environment with key people who are focused on the individual needs of my children.

Amazing growth seen in my child since being with his support workers. Learning day to day kills and building his confidence. Would highly praise the team and everything they do.

My daughter comes home from nursery very happy every day, she talks positively about the staff every day and asks if they can come to our home.

Evie has grown so much as a person and is constantly learning. Her toilet training has come on leaps and bounds over the past month. Thank you for the support.

We have used Child First Banbury since 2017 with our eldest. We have always trusted the staff with out children, they are kind, thoughtful and really care about the children. The play and learning is well thought out and lots of interactive trays, cooking and water play.

I;ve been using this nursery since 2021 and overall it has been a positive journey. There was a period when the service did not quite meet expectations, however, since the change in management, the transformation has been very noticeable. It's reassuring to see how much progress has been made. The improvements have restored my confidence and I feel comfortable recommending the nursery to other parents looking for a supportive and caring setting.

Great staff, all the staff are absolutely amazing , my daughter loves them and make me so happy that she is so well looked after, I had doubts in the beginning but after the first 3 time I left her at the nursery and they put my daughter to sleep , feed her and seen my baby enjoying so much , made my heart warm so huge thank you!

Overall staff members are great, a special review for the Nursery Practitioner who really goes out of her way to deliver such good care with her kind and caring nature. My daughter adores her. Updates on the app are not regular and are not updated at all. This would be something I would say needs improving, considering the amount the nursery costs. I believe there should be daily updates like other nurseries on the app.

All the staff are wonderful and very hard to make sure that all the children are well cared for and enjoy every day.

My son attended Child First, Banbury from 8 months until just before his 3rd birthday - the only reason for leaving was a family relocation. We miss the staff daily! They made life so easy for us and our son was unbelievably happy in their care. He developed well in each of the rooms, moving from room to room with no issues as he grew. He ate well (often second portions!) and enjoyed a huge range of well thought out activities. He was most happy in the garden, which was encouraged all year round. There are several staff members that became more like family to us and would take a genuine interest in our child's outside life too. I never worried about leaving him each day and knew he would be perfectly safe and particularly well looked after. I can't recommend Child First Banbury any higher.

Amazing staff and nursery! My 1 year old has just started at the Child First Banbury Nursery and he has settled in so quickly with no tears! He has developed a really strong bond with his key worker, to the point he runs up to her for a cuddle and waves goodbye to me and points to the toys so she will play (he only started a couple of weeks ago and does 2 days a week). I am so happy he enjoys it and I was shocked at how well his first few sessions have gone considering he started a different nursery (more local) and cried non stop! Two members of staff in particular are so friendly, really care for the babies, I couldn't ask for better staff. My son loves going to nursery to play and seeing all the different activities set up each day. In my show round it was clear the nursery has been run very well and has a hands on management team and manager! Who joins the rooms and gets involved with the children to come up with ideas to improve the nursery and development of the children.

My son attended the nursery since he was 2 and settled in really well. The staff were kind, caring and attentive to his needs. He has just started school and after recently having his first parents' evening and hearing how well he is doing is a testament to the staff at the nursery and in the preschool room. Our little girl has just started in the baby room and again has settled really well. I couldn’t be happier with the nursery.

My son goes to Child First. I’ve had nothing but good things from the admin staff through to my son's key workers. You can tell the staff love what they do, it shows in so many ways, as most parents are aware it’s hard leaving your child, but I have no worries at all and they made everything so much better for me and my family! I want to say thank you so much to all the staff at Child First!
