Sunshine Corner Nursery is run by a well-qualified, kind and caring team who make the most of indoor and outdoor learning environments in order to support positive early years learning.

The nursery offers 57 places a day and all professionals are trained to pursue key EYFS objectives.

Part of the Early Years Alliance, the nursery offers a friendly and secure approach to learning for children aged from birth to five years old.

A team of caring, friendly and qualified staff help each child develop at their own pace in a safe, friendly and fun environment and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.

Sunshine Corner is located in Kent, Canterbury, and was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted on January 10th 2023.

The nursery is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year (closed 1 week for Christmas), excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.

The children have been celebrating World Book Day and cultural events.

Impact on children's learning

• Learning about how different cultures have different celebrations and celebrating Martisor, the beginning of Spring.
• Being creative and making their own stories for World Book Day.
• Building on fine motor skills, communication and language and developing imaginations.

The children are still extending their learning by learning how stories are written and have and have a children's author coming to visit.

Sunshine corner is nothing short of amazing we have been so blessed to have them as our nursery for the last 2 years for our little boy. The outpouring love, kindness, communication and everything in between has been nothing short of amazing. The dedication they all put into this nursery is just beautiful
they all work incredibly hard and make everyday fun, engaging & great learning. We thank you for everything and we will miss you so much now our child has left to start his new adventure to school. x

My son attended Sunshine nursery from the age of 1 year. He was very well cared for and progressed very well into a caring and polite little boy. His knowledge and vocabulary has improved well and a lot is due to the experiences he has had at Sunshine nursery.

Amazing nursery, home from home. Lovely staff who are dedicated and all so great with the children. Can not praise this nursery enough, given so much support through her whole time with them. Just find all staff wonderful and caring towards the kids. Our daughter absolutely loves it there.

Amazing staff, always so welcoming. Have always said and always will it is home from home. Any concerns I have regarding my child they are always there to listen and support where needed. They treat all the children like their own!
Since separating from his big sister as she started school he has
really come out of his shell and is doing amazing! He comes home so happy to tell me about his day and is so excited for 'nursery day' to see all of his friends!

Both of my children attended Sunshine Corner Nursery and they had the best time! The staff are so passionate about the children's experiences. They are caring, kind, patient and supportive. I couldn't wish for a better nursery!

I absolutely love Sunshine Corner and would describe it as one of my son's happy places. I feel completely at peace leaving him in their care and am amazed at the progress he's made. His growing confidence in singing, improved social skills and expanding vocabulary are just incredible. Every time I
drop him off, I feel reassured and welcomed by the staff and management, who truly make you feel at home. I feel so fortunate that my child has a place here. You can genuinely sense the staff's dedication and concern for your child's well-being and as a parent, that's the most important thing. It speaks volumes!

Such an incredible homely feel at Sunshine Corner. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble and my daughter has been incredibly happy. My daughter has struggled with leaving us (her parents) but her keyworker and in fact every member of staff go above and beyond to make her settle quickly and happy.
She has really come out of her shell and excelled within sunshine corner and has got all the skills ready to start her new adventure at school! I would recommend this nursery to anyone who asks. 10/10 amazing!

The staff at Sunshine Corner are amazing. My baby initially struggled to settle as he had never been separated from me, but the staff made him feel safe and welcome. He now loves it at the nursery and he has become so much more confident.

The nursery and the staff are amazing my daughter hasn't been going there long and has settled amazingly, made very good bonds with the staff and it's been a pleasure to watch. I could not be happier that my daughter got a place at Sunshine Corner Nursery. She settled in so quickly and has grown such lovely relationships with both the adults and children alike. The manager and the team at Sunshine Corner are the best things to happen in our sun's development. Words like exceptional and incredible are not enough to describe them and express our gratitude. The manager and the team supported our son through his educational journey, providing him with tailored
learning strategies and emotional support. Thanks to all of them, he learned so much. The team helped him develop a lot, especially physically, emotionally, and intellectually, as well as in numeracy and literacy.
We cannot thank them enough for that. Once again, we want to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to the manager and the entire team. Team, each one of you is phenomenal, and we will do everything in our power for our son to keep these memories.
