A team of caring, friendly and qualified staff help each child develop at their own pace in a safe, friendly and fun environment and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.
Sunshine Corner is located in Kent, Canterbury, and was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted on January 10th 2023.
The nursery is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year (closed 1 week for Christmas), excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.
What they've been up to!
The children have been celebrating World Book Day and cultural events.
Impact on children's learning
• Learning about how different cultures have different celebrations and celebrating Martisor, the beginning of Spring.
• Being creative and making their own stories for World Book Day.
• Building on fine motor skills, communication and language and developing imaginations.
The children are still extending their learning by learning how stories are written and have and have a children's author coming to visit.
We currently have been taking part in little kickers, and they have been visiting the big schools forest school.

Refundable Deposit
The nursery does not charge a registration fee. However, families who are paying fees are required to pay a deposit to secure their child's place. This deposit is fully refundable and will be deducted from your final invoice, provided the required notice period has been given and all terms of the agreement have been met. Full details of the deposit and notice requirements will be provided during the enrolment process to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind for families.

My daughter has settled really well here and that is all to do with the time and effort the staff have put in. She has a brilliant bond with her key worker and loves going to nursery. The facilities are great, the communication with parents is great and really cannot fault it. Would and have recommended it to others.
Specifically loved that meals are cooked on-site, this was something that stood out to me when selecting this nursery and is so rare these days - I hope they continue it for a long time!

Fantastic nursery, friendly and homely. The staff are absolutely amazing with the children and the setting is perfect. I cannot recommend this nursery enough! Thank you for all you do for my daughter and had done for my son, both my children are thriving.

We put our child into Sunshine Corner as it was the closest nursery to us. We've since moved, and it's half an hour out of our way, but he's still there. Why? Because no other nursery in the area has the quality of indoor and outdoor space, good opening times, feeds your kids and has great staff....

Because no other nursery in the area has the quality of indoor and outdoor space, good opening times, feeds your kids and has great staff. There isn't a better pre-school in Kent.

My son has attended Sunshine Corner for the past year and a half, starting in the baby room and moving up into the toddler room. Our experience of Sunshine Corner has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly as regards the staff who really get to know the children and regularly go above and beyond to provide for the needs of each child. For example, our son's language development was delayed and the staff were committed to using baby sign language in order to enable him to communicate with staff and other children. Any queries or worries we have had have been addressed quickly and effectively and communication with parents generally is excellent. Most importantly, our son is always happy to be dropped off at nursery in the morning.
