A team of caring, friendly and qualified staff help each child develop at their own pace in a safe, friendly and fun environment and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.
Sunshine Corner is located in Kent, Canterbury, and was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted on January 10th 2023.
The nursery is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year (closed 1 week for Christmas), excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.

The children have been celebrating World Book Day and cultural events.
Impact on children's learning
• Learning about how different cultures have different celebrations and celebrating Martisor, the beginning of Spring.
• Being creative and making their own stories for World Book Day.
• Building on fine motor skills, communication and language and developing imaginations.
The children are still extending their learning by learning how stories are written and have and have a children's author coming to visit.
We currently have been taking part in little kickers, and they have been visiting the big schools forest school.

Refundable Deposit
The nursery does not charge a registration fee. However, families who are paying fees are required to pay a deposit to secure their child's place. This deposit is fully refundable and will be deducted from your final invoice, provided the required notice period has been given and all terms of the agreement have been met. Full details of the deposit and notice requirements will be provided during the enrolment process to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind for families.

I am so pleased we were able to get a place for my son 3 and a half years ago. The nursery has consistently provided excellent levels of care, great safeguarding in place to ensure safety, provided excellent meals and learning through play. They have supported not only our son but as first-time parents helped us navigate different milestones, such as supporting potty training without which it would have been a much more daunting task. The staff are so kind and caring, you can tell they genuinely really care for the children, really taking the time to get to know them and their interest in creating a fun, educational safe space for them.
This dedication and passion for providing an exceptional standard of childcare is evident from the management level right through to key persons, nursery staff, chef and trainees. I could not recommend an establishment more.

The staff are brilliant. The different age groups have lots to do. Always a different learning experience each week. All of my children have attended the nursery over the years and never had a problem; they have all enjoyed their time at Sunshine Corner Nursery.

Sunshine Corner has been an absolutely wonderful place for our first son to learn, play and make friends. He has flourished in all developmental milestones, and that is no doubt thanks to all the staff at Sunshine Corner. The staff are experienced and knowledgable, but above all, they are endlessly enthusiastic, friendly and kind, and our son loves them all. They seem to know each child so well despite having lots of different children to look after and tailor what they do to each individual child. The management team are present, approachable and responsive to questions and concerns. We have never had a single doubt that Sunshine Corner has been the right place for our son, and our second son will be starting very soon. I can’t rate Sunshine Corner highly enough!

Amazing people! Excellent communication with the nursery staff! Great support and advice with my personal problems and issues as a first-time Mum, teaching me how to stop breastfeeding without it being a bid drama for my little one, and discussing food and sleep!

Great support and advice with my personal problems and issues as a first-time Mum, teaching me how to stop breastfeeding without it being a bid drama for my little one, and discussing food and sleep! We can see her development clearly from day to day. She comes home saying or doing things we have never said or done with her! Also, she absolutely adores going to nursery, and I can see that from her lack of care to her Mum in tears outside of the nursery and her excitement running into the nursery every day!

My daughter has been attending Sunshine Corner for the previous three years. I cannot express enough how much she loved attending this nursery, and we have even increased her days because she wanted to spend more time there. The staff are very nurturing, and it is evident they know every child extremely well and cater for each child's interests. The communication between the nursery and parents is fantastic, and we love seeing the pictures they regularly send home. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Both my boys go to this wonderful nursery. My eldest since he was 6-months-old he is now 3, and my youngest started this January, he is now 1. I don’t think I have enough words that can praise this nursery and the amazing staff that work there enough.

Both my boys go to this wonderful nursery. My eldest since he was 6-months-old he is now 3, and my youngest started this January, he is now 1. I don’t think I have enough words that can praise this nursery and the amazing staff that work there enough. They know each child individually and help them flourish and grow. They also know and take the time to speak to parents; they really get to know each family. The activities they do with the children are great and help them learn as well as have fun, the boys come home absolutely shattered and normally covered in some kind of paint, glue or mud, which means they just have had the best time. My boys have benefited from this nursery so much, and it has helped mould them into the lovely children they both are. The staff are fantastic and always there to help or lean on in any way they can.
I would recommend this nursery a 100-times over. I wish everyone could send their children there as it really is just wonderful.
