Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons Swanscombe nursery has been wonderful for my son. He has really come out of his shell since he first started. He loves coming to nursery, he’s always so happy when he comes out. The nursery have reassured me through this pandemic. The staff are always lovely and caring. You can tell how much they love their jobs.

Bright Horizons Swanscombe has been an amazing experience for my son. He has come a long way since he started two years ago. The staff are welcoming and caring. They have also been very supportive over these uncertain times as well as ensuring my son is supported whilst we welcomed our second child. Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone!

My daughter has loved the nursery from day one. The experience of long term staff has been invaluable to us as a family. The peace of mind we have as parents is second to none. I personally can focus at work knowing my princess is in safe hands. The only con I can think of is the high turnover of staff. But that being said, even new staff are great with the kids so it's definitely 5 stars for me. I've already recommended the nursery to several friends. No point hiding a great thing.

My son has been coming to this Nursery for a year now. I was worried at first, as the first place he was at was really upsetting him, and myself. On his first day he loved it, and still loves his room Ladybirds. He has recently be diagnosed with Asthma and the girls, are great and I trust them all emensily. He is due to start school in September, and I know he will miss everyone.

My twins settled into the nursery so quickly, the beginning was tearful but after about four weeks (of just a couple of days a week) they were running into the nursery without a glace back. I can see their confidence grow and they have developed lots of self-care skills and actually help tidy away at home and after meals. Whenever I have had questions, the staff have always made it a priority to get in touch and answer them if I am not able to speak to them on collection. I like that they have insight sessions with good advice on how to continue your child's learning at home.

Going back to work after having a baby is hard, especially as you have to trust someone else to look after the most precious thing to you. From day one, this nursery has put me at ease and they make sure my child is looked after in the best way possible. Five months in and he is thriving and absolutely loves going. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The way that I can tell that I made a good decision with this nursery is that I can go to work and concentrate on my job and not spend time worrying about what my little one is doing. I would highly recommend.

I love this nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough. My son has been going here for the last four years and now attends the school clubs. The staff are welcoming, compassionate, caring, fun and professional. My son has developed some strong bonds with the staff here and most importantly developed beautifully which they hold some responsibility for. The nursery’s facilities are great, it feels safe and fun.

A lovely friendly nursery, with caring and supportive staff, which my grandson loves going to. He enjoys his time there and I cannot thank them enough for the support given to us as a family. I will always be truly grateful.

When my daughter started, I was very nervous but I was put at ease and the staff are brilliant with her. She is happy to go to nursery every day and is always happy when I pick her up. All staff are welcoming and always greet you at the door.

Super impressed with how the nursery staff have been taking care of my child. He is non-verbal but l can tell he enjoys being at Nursery. Staff always polite and asking for clarification where needed.

A great range of activities for all the children to do throughout the day. The staff are extremely helpful and always update me on how my daughter has been through the day. Journey books are always available to view. Completely trustworthy staff. Room staff will work with my daughter on anything that she needs to develop or be more confident doing. Staff are happy for you to call during the day to check if there are any issues and if your child has settled. Would highly recommend this day nursery.

The nursery is clean and well-staffed, they have lots of things onsite including a big garden, sensory tent, playground etc. My girl loves going there after school and always talks about the fun things she is doing.

I feel this year is going to be the best for her development and she will especially like the bigger garden to run around in.

My just turned 2yr old twin boys have been going to Swanscombe Nursery for nearly 4 months. It started off quite unsettling for the boys as they had not been looked after by anyone before, so it was quite emotional for us all. The staff have been absolutely fantastic with the boys and myself and I am so impressed by their professionalism. My boys now walk into their new room into the open arms of their keyworkers which is amazing to see. They have come on leaps and bounds developmentally also which I feel I wasn't able to support myself. The staff are so kind, attentive and personable with the boys and I can tell they really think a lot of each child that goes there. I know I made the right decision by sending my boys to this nursery.

My girl is three and we just started preschool here. She loved it just from the start. They make an effort for every child to help them feel cared for and to create a safe place to learn and play.

My child has been attending this nursery since 2017. Every year they have transitioned very well into the various rooms. I’ve been very happy with my child’s progress. Especially in ladybirds where the room leads provide a caring and structured environment. I’m always made aware of anything that may become an issue well in advance. Also given positive feedback in a timely manner so that I can reinforce this at home. Fully trust the considerate people looking after my child. Thank you for your hard work.

New move into preschool (Ladybirds) and my son hasn't looked back. He comes back exhausted from all the brilliant space in the gardens.

My son has attended the nursery since he was 14 months old so has transitioned from one room to another, the transition was very smooth and very supportive of my child. My son's mother was very nervous about leaving him at nursery and about the transition but the staff reassured her and made the whole process easy and comforting for both my son and his mum.
