A spacious nursery in Swanscombe.

The bright and welcoming Swanscombe day nursery provides quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years. The day nursery and preschool in Swanscombe is located just half a mile from Swanscombe town centre and Swanscombe Railway Station. They have a buggy storage area and an on-site car park to make pick-up and drop-off as convenient for you as possible.

As you step through their doors, you'll feel the warmth of their caring and experienced staff who are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for your children. Like a second family, the team fosters a sense of belonging and security, making every child feel right at home. They love encouraging your child to explore all of their favourite extracurricular activities. This is why they offer ‘Hartbeeps’ sensory classes and football sessions with the support of a sports coach. I love this nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough. My son has been going here for the last four years and now attends the school clubs. The staff are welcoming, compassionate, caring, fun and professional. My son has developed some strong bonds with the staff here and most importantly developed beautifully
which they hold some responsibility for. The nursery’s facilities are great, it feels safe and fun.

When my daughter started, I was very nervous but I was put at ease and the staff are brilliant with her. She is happy to go to nursery every day and is always happy when I pick her up. All staff are welcoming and always greet you at the door.

A great range of activities for all the children to do throughout the day. The staff are extremely helpful and always update me on how my daughter has been through the day. Journey books are always available to view. Completely trustworthy staff. Room staff will work with my daughter on anything that
she needs to develop or be more confident doing. Staff are happy for you to call during the day to check if there are any issues and if your child has settled. Would highly recommend this day nursery.

Highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been here from 9months old and is now 28months old. She has flourished here. The staff have been incredible with her. She has developed so much. They provide so much more than I can at home for her. She loves going to nursery and always has fun with her
friends especially when she gets to go out and play in the garden. The food is always a winner for her and smells delicious in the mornings.
The transitions between rooms has always been very well managed and staff are great at recognising what the individual child needs.
I feel this year is going to be the best for her development and she will especially like the bigger garden to run around in.

My just turned 2yr old twin boys have been going to Swanscombe Nursery for nearly 4 months. It started off quite unsettling for the boys as they had not been looked after by anyone before, so it was quite emotional for us all. The staff have been absolutely fantastic with the boys and myself and I am
so impressed by their professionalism. My boys now walk into their new room into the open arms of their keyworkers which is amazing to see. They have come on leaps and bounds developmentally also which I feel I wasn't able to support myself. The staff are so kind, attentive and personable with the boys and I can tell they really think a lot of each child that goes there. I know I made the right decision by sending my boys to this nursery.

My child has been attending this nursery since 2017. Every year they have transitioned very well into the various rooms. I’ve been very happy with my child’s progress. Especially in ladybirds where the room leads provide a caring and structured environment. I’m always made aware of anything that may
become an issue well in advance. Also given positive feedback in a timely manner so that I can reinforce this at home. Fully trust the considerate people looking after my child. Thank you for your hard work.

My son has attended the nursery since he was 14 months old so has transitioned from one room to another, the transition was very smooth and very supportive of my child. My son's mother was very nervous about leaving him at nursery and about the transition but the staff reassured her and made the whole
process easy and comforting for both my son and his mum.

A well-run nursery with lots of open space for the children to play; each room has its own garden as well as the free flow garden. The menu is excellent. My 3-year-old attends now and my eldest also attended the nursery. He’s 7 now and has special needs. When it was becoming apparent he wasn’t developing
as he should be the nursery staff were very helpful and supportive. The main staff dealing with him have now left but the manager is still there and the values and standards remain the same. Finally, my friends pay for wipes and nappies at their nurseries..here everything is included in the monthly fee.

I have 2 children at this nursery, my 4-year-old and 19 month old have attended since they were 1. Everything has always run smoothly, they both really enjoy nursery and I feel that every effort is made to make it an enjoyable learning experience. The only negative has been the high turnover of staff.
I hope this will not continue.

Leaving my children at nursery for the first time is without doubt one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. You are leaving your children in the care of people you don’t really know having been with them every day since they were born. What has got us through is the amazing staff at this nursery, the
manager has built a team that really genuinely cares and goes above and beyond every single day to make sure our children feel home from home. I have a new found respect for the nursery staff and the job they do. Two staff members, in particular, are some of the most professional and caring people I have had the pleasure to meet. You could not wish for a safer, happier and caring environment for your children.

I have had two children in this lovely nursery. The second still currently attends.
Bright Horizons have always been informative and attentive to both the children and my needs. They are not simply babysitters, but make a great effort to know your children and engage with them.
They have a range
of activities, and food/drink offered are healthy and varied.
Kids feel welcomed and safe, which in turn always puts my mind at ease.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 8 months old. He is now nearly two and cannot wait to get out the door to get to nursery two days a week. He has formed very strong connections with his key workers and is growing into a confident little person.
The staff members are very friendly
and accommodating and it is nice to know that my child is in a clean, safe and friendly environment. They try to be flexible with almost everything from nap times to meals and I feel reassured every time I ring just to see how he's doing.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends and people I know.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been involved in the early years sector since 2012, and my journey with Bright Horizons began in 2017. I started my career as a nursery nurse in a sizable nursery back in 2012 and have steadily progressed to become a Nursery Manager. Along the way, I have attained a level 3 diploma in childcare and further education, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. I am also qualified as a SENDCO, and I am currently pursuing my level 5 diploma in business management.


My role as a Nursery Manager is something I am truly passionate about. My goal is to provide top-notch care and education, creating an inclusive, engaging, and exciting environment where all children can learn and thrive.

Hi, my name is Aynsley and I am the Nursery Manager.


Since 2015, I have been actively involved in the early years sector, and my journey in this field has been truly fulfilling. Prior to this, I spent six years working in a SEND department, where I had the privilege of working closely with children. Throughout my career, I have consistently sought to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve the children in my care.


I am proud to hold a level 3 diploma in children's learning and development, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. These qualifications have been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and allowing me to take on greater responsibilities.


My progression within Bright Horizons has been significant, having started as a bank staff member and now proudly serving as the Deputy Nursery Manager. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.


As the Deputy Nursery Manager, I am deeply passionate about my role and the impact I can make on the lives of children and their families. My primary focus is to provide high-quality childcare with enriching environments that foster learning and growth. One of the ways I achieve this is by mentoring and supporting our dedicated staff, helping them develop their own skills and expertise.


Being a good role model to others is also important to me. I believe that leading by example is a powerful way to inspire positive change and encourage the delivery of high-quality care across the nursery.


I wake up every day with a sense of purpose and dedication to making a difference in the lives of the children we care for. It is a privilege to contribute to their early years' development and create a nurturing space where they can flourish. I am excited about the journey ahead and the continued opportunities to learn, grow, and positively impact the lives of those in my care.
