Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool

I have always been really impressed with the level of care shown by all of the workers here. My son has been exposed to so much he wouldn't have had a chance to experience at home, from language lessons to yoga. He really enjoys being attending. The nursery is also very supportive of all of our parenting decisions.

The teachers are always cheerful and give really detailed handovers. We cannot be more thankful!

Joining a nursery during a pandemic was never an easy decision, but both of us being key workers, we weren’t left with much choice. Understandably we were both anxious, especially not being able to view the nursery prior to starting. However, we were put at ease so quickly, the management team kept in touch to ensure all questions were answered and all worries were put to bed straight away. Our child was allocated a key person before they even entered the nursery and they phoned prior to our child starting to make sure everything was okay and to find out everything there was to know about our little one. On arrival on our first day, we were greeted quickly and felt reassured, we were given leaflets all about the room our child was in and we were called around two hours after dropping off to tell us what a good time our child had. Communication has been amazing from registering until now which has really helped us get to know everyone and feel that our child is safe.

Amazing nursery. It’s so hard to begin with as you are trusting someone with the most precious thing in the world, but they make it so easy. Made us feel so comfortable. My daughter's key worker really is the loveliest person, my little girl really adores her. Really pleased with it all. Really secure too, which is another factor out of the thousands, that I love about this place.

The staff are very enthusiastic and happy I feel very comfortable leaving my child there. Management is easy to talk to and quick to resolve issues. The staff settled my child in quickly and reassured me every step of the way.

I am quite happy. The only improvement I can think of is more detailed information of child's activity. You may wish to look into an online website where parents can log-in to their child's account and see everything in terms of their daily activity and/or overall progress. Some other nurseries use such websites/apps.

I'm a very thankful and lucky mummy.

What would I do without Bright Horizons Swanscombe! My daughter who is now 3-years-old has been attending the nursery since she was 1, and has gradually worked her way through the various character rooms. I’m usually not one for writing reviews, but I have to share how marvellous all the staff have been during this COVID pandemic. They have reassured parents since the beginning and continue to do so, keeping us up to date and in a timely manner. I hope they all get to have some well-earned rest over the festive holidays, as they all truly deserve it. I’ve chosen to remove my daughter from nursery next week, but this is a precaution on my side and by no means necessary, but hopefully will contribute to staff getting some rest. My daughter loves going to nursery, and we have managed to increase the hours she attends next year, she even has a couple of friends there now. We are hoping, at my daughters request to have a tea party with her friends once this COVID situation is over!

The nursery is very helpful and will do what they can to help you out, they're always there if you need to talk or ask questions. They have been supportive and understanding. My daughter adores her keyworker and many of the other staff, which for a parent, is very comforting. I don’t feel any worry sending her to the nursery, because when she first started, I would worry because she’s my only child and it was my first time sending her to the nursery, and she settled in quickly and loves going to nursery. And she can’t wait to start school, and it’s all thanks to the nursery and team. Thank you.

The management team are fantastic at answering any questions or putting our worries at ease. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery since 7-months of age; she has absolutely loved coming and has grown exceptionally since joining. The team are really welcoming and give their all into looking after your child. We have had a few hiccups, but all have been resolved quickly.

I really love the update information from the school to me concerning the school and steps taken to keep the children safe in this period of COVID. I am so confident my child is safe and having the best time at school. Nothing to worry at all.

Both our daughters are attending Bright Horizons Swanscombe nursery. They are both very happy, they love the place and their friends. They are grown so much since attending the nursery and all staff are welcoming and friendly. Even in these tough times all staff are welcoming and providing as much information as they can. Management is always available if you need a chat, advice and support with anything. Thank you to all the team, we are very grateful.

My child has attended this nursery since May 2019, being an only child, has only been with myself and Dad. His first keyworker, the team were all very supportive and had a good parent partnership with myself. This has maintained and continues through to his next room move and his new keyworker and team. During this uncertain time of COVID, the nursery management have been very professional and have updated with all relevant information. I am very happy my child attends this nursery, he is so happy and learning so much every day.

My son joined this nursery at the age of 1 and is now nearly turning 4. He’s had a fantastic experience at Swanscombe Day nursery, he’s developed such great relationships not only with his peers but also key people in his rooms. The nursery management team have always been extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this nursery and the team behind it.

Both my granddaughters have been at Swanscombe day nursery for some time. They have always been extremely happy and love the staff. Those staff are even part of imaginary play at home. All the managers are always helpful and certainly, during this difficult time make drop-offs and pick-ups as friendly and quick as they possibly can. Thank you for keeping all our children safe and happy through this challenging year.

My son is 3 and started this nursery in September this year. He has come such a long way from the start and really enjoys coming now. That is all down to the friendly, welcoming staff that look after him and especially his key carer for making his nursery experience such a fun, happy and engaging one.

Lovely nursery, lovely, friendly and helpful staff. My son loves it and has done so well since he has been there. I would highly recommend it as it’s a brilliant nursery. Everyone else who I have spoken to with children that attend all say how lovely it is as well.
