A spacious nursery in Swanscombe.

The bright and welcoming Swanscombe day nursery provides quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years. The day nursery and preschool in Swanscombe is located just half a mile from Swanscombe town centre and Swanscombe Railway Station. They have a buggy storage area and an on-site car park to make pick-up and drop-off as convenient for you as possible.

As you step through their doors, you'll feel the warmth of their caring and experienced staff who are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for your children. Like a second family, the team fosters a sense of belonging and security, making every child feel right at home. They love encouraging your child to explore all of their favourite extracurricular activities. This is why they offer ‘Hartbeeps’ sensory classes and football sessions with the support of a sports coach. My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old. He is nearly three now and loves coming in!
Every key worker he had, has given him lots of attention and helped him become a confident boy he is today.
I can't thank everyone enough for being so warm and loving towards him. The team is currently
helping him with potty training and I can't be happier with the results! They're superstars!
Management is always happy and available.
Working their way through pandemic with extra care and understanding, always happy to answer questions and keeping me up to date with everything that's going on within the nursery.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a place.

Bright Horizons has just been the most incredible nursery/pre-school for my son. They look after him like he's their own. The manager and deputy manager are incredible, and they go above and beyond to make sure my son is developing and learning to reach his potential.
My son has special needs, and
the lengths and breadths they have gone to ensure his inclusion has been amazing, some of the strategies and ideas they have had have just been so creative and intuitive always putting the needs of my son first.
I would highly recommend this nursery not only for its wonderful staff but for the above and beyond effort and approach they don't have to do but so kindly give in abundance.
The manager is especially a credit to the company, she has sacrificed personal days to be able to attend meetings about my son and always delivered on paperwork and reports that have been needed. and for that, I am so grateful.
I'm a very thankful and lucky mummy.

What would I do without Bright Horizons Swanscombe! My daughter who is now 3-years-old has been attending the nursery since she was 1, and has gradually worked her way through the various character rooms. I’m usually not one for writing reviews, but I have to share how marvellous all the staff have
been during this COVID pandemic. They have reassured parents since the beginning and continue to do so, keeping us up to date and in a timely manner. I hope they all get to have some well-earned rest over the festive holidays, as they all truly deserve it. I’ve chosen to remove my daughter from nursery next week, but this is a precaution on my side and by no means necessary, but hopefully will contribute to staff getting some rest. My daughter loves going to nursery, and we have managed to increase the hours she attends next year, she even has a couple of friends there now. We are hoping, at my daughters request to have a tea party with her friends once this COVID situation is over!

The nursery is very helpful and will do what they can to help you out, they're always there if you need to talk or ask questions. They have been supportive and understanding. My daughter adores her keyworker and many of the other staff, which for a parent, is very comforting. I don’t feel any worry
sending her to the nursery, because when she first started, I would worry because she’s my only child and it was my first time sending her to the nursery, and she settled in quickly and loves going to nursery. And she can’t wait to start school, and it’s all thanks to the nursery and team. Thank you.

My children have been coming to this nursery now for 8 years. My daughter received fantastic care before she left to go to school and now my son is in the toddler room. It's been hard for my wife and I to leave our son, but now it's like dropping him off with a family member. They know him so well and
he gets so excited to see them in the morning.
The management team are fantastic at answering any questions or putting our worries at ease. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery since 7-months of age; she has absolutely loved coming and has grown exceptionally since joining. The team are really welcoming and give their all into looking after your child. We have had a few hiccups, but all have been resolved quickly.

My child has attended this nursery since May 2019, being an only child, has only been with myself and Dad. His first keyworker, the team were all very supportive and had a good parent partnership with myself. This has maintained and continues through to his next room move and his new keyworker and team.
During this uncertain time of COVID, the nursery management have been very professional and have updated with all relevant information. I am very happy my child attends this nursery, he is so happy and learning so much every day.

Both my granddaughters have been at Swanscombe day nursery for some time. They have always been extremely happy and love the staff. Those staff are even part of imaginary play at home. All the managers are always helpful and certainly, during this difficult time make drop-offs and pick-ups as friendly

Bright Horizons Swanscombe has been an amazing experience for my son. He has come a long way since he started two years ago. The staff are welcoming and caring. My daughter has loved the nursery from day one. The experience of long term staff has been invaluable to us as a family. The peace of mind we have as parents is second to none. I personally can focus at work knowing my princess is in safe hands. The only con I can think of is the high turnover of staff.
But that being said, even new staff are great with the kids so it's definitely 5 stars for me. I've already recommended the nursery to several friends. No point hiding a great thing.

My son has been coming to this Nursery for a year now. I was worried at first, as the first place he was at was really upsetting him, and myself. On his first day he loved it, and still loves his room Ladybirds. He has recently be diagnosed with Asthma and the girls, are great and I trust them all emensily.
He is due to start school in September, and I know he will miss everyone.

My twins settled into the nursery so quickly, the beginning was tearful but after about four weeks (of just a couple of days a week) they were running into the nursery without a glace back. I can see their confidence grow and they have developed lots of self-care skills and actually help tidy away at
home and after meals. Whenever I have had questions, the staff have always made it a priority to get in touch and answer them if I am not able to speak to them on collection. I like that they have insight sessions with good advice on how to continue your child's learning at home.

Going back to work after having a baby is hard, especially as you have to trust someone else to look after the most precious thing to you. From day one, this nursery has put me at ease and they make sure my child is looked after in the best way possible. Five months in and he is thriving and absolutely
loves going. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The way that I can tell that I made a good decision with this nursery is that I can go to work and concentrate on my job and not spend time worrying about what my little one is doing. I would highly recommend.

I have been involved in the early years sector since 2012, and my journey with Bright Horizons began in 2017. I started my career as a nursery nurse in a sizable nursery back in 2012 and have steadily progressed to become a Nursery Manager. Along the way, I have attained a level 3 diploma in childcare and further education, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. I am also qualified as a SENDCO, and I am currently pursuing my level 5 diploma in business management.


My role as a Nursery Manager is something I am truly passionate about. My goal is to provide top-notch care and education, creating an inclusive, engaging, and exciting environment where all children can learn and thrive.

Hi, my name is Aynsley and I am the Nursery Manager.


Since 2015, I have been actively involved in the early years sector, and my journey in this field has been truly fulfilling. Prior to this, I spent six years working in a SEND department, where I had the privilege of working closely with children. Throughout my career, I have consistently sought to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve the children in my care.


I am proud to hold a level 3 diploma in children's learning and development, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. These qualifications have been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and allowing me to take on greater responsibilities.


My progression within Bright Horizons has been significant, having started as a bank staff member and now proudly serving as the Deputy Nursery Manager. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.


As the Deputy Nursery Manager, I am deeply passionate about my role and the impact I can make on the lives of children and their families. My primary focus is to provide high-quality childcare with enriching environments that foster learning and growth. One of the ways I achieve this is by mentoring and supporting our dedicated staff, helping them develop their own skills and expertise.


Being a good role model to others is also important to me. I believe that leading by example is a powerful way to inspire positive change and encourage the delivery of high-quality care across the nursery.


I wake up every day with a sense of purpose and dedication to making a difference in the lives of the children we care for. It is a privilege to contribute to their early years' development and create a nurturing space where they can flourish. I am excited about the journey ahead and the continued opportunities to learn, grow, and positively impact the lives of those in my care.
