A spacious nursery in Swanscombe.

The bright and welcoming Swanscombe day nursery provides quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years. The day nursery and preschool in Swanscombe is located just half a mile from Swanscombe town centre and Swanscombe Railway Station. They have a buggy storage area and an on-site car park to make pick-up and drop-off as convenient for you as possible.

As you step through their doors, you'll feel the warmth of their caring and experienced staff who are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for your children. Like a second family, the team fosters a sense of belonging and security, making every child feel right at home. They love encouraging your child to explore all of their favourite extracurricular activities. This is why they offer ‘Hartbeeps’ sensory classes and football sessions with the support of a sports coach. There is also a dedicated cookery area, where your child can mix, whip and fold in the cooking club!

To support your child outside of regular nursery hours, they also have a breakfast, after school and holiday club for children aged 3 months to 8 years, where they can participate in a range of fun activities.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was one and a half. I did check out eight other nurseries before I chose one. He is now 3 and a half years and he loves it there. The staff are very friendly and I've never regretted my decision and even when I have worried about his development, the staff
are always happy to talk to you and give you any advice they can, they do so much with the kids. I’m so happy with Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool.

As parents, we have been incredibly happy with the secure and caring environment the nursery has offered to both children. Our first son now almost 7, started at 2.5 years when we moved to the area. He formed strong bonds with his key workers throughout his time there and frequently asks after them
even now. His experience there has meant he is a happy and socially confident boy, which has benefitted him hugely at Primary School. Our daughter joined the nursery at 8 months and has just turned three. We were nervous about leaving her at such a young age, but the staff instilled confidence in us. She is thriving at the nursery, having formed strong bonds with both the staff and other children. I know during their time at nursery my children are happy and safe.
Meal times are well structured and balanced. The children have daily access to free-flowing outside spaces and take part in a wide range of activities from baking and crafts, to messy play in the mud kitchen. Highly recommended!

My eldest son attended this nursery 9 years ago and now my youngest 2 children attend (both from the age of 7 months, one is now 2.5 and the youngest 1.5). Many of the staff are still there from when my eldest attended and they all remember him. All the staff know all the children even though they may
not be under their care. My children love this nursery!

Both my boys have been at the nursery since they were babies and we’re very happy with the care they receive. The staff are all lovely and genuinely care for our kids, both boys have really good bonds with their respective key workers. I love that they get lots of access to outside space and get to
do all sorts of things that we’d never do at home (particularly the messy stuff!!)


The office staff deserve mention too, they’re always really helpful and welcoming. A lovely nursery

Our son has been attending Swanscombe from the age of 18 months (he is now nearly 4). The teachers in each of the rooms have always gone the extra mile to ensure all the children settle in and feel at home. He has always felt comfortable going to nursery and I too have felt confident leaving him in
the capable hands of the teachers. I would highly recommend this nursery as my son has thrived in this setting.

This a fantastic setting and I cannot commend the staff enough on their dedication and commitment to the setting and the children in their care. Both my children attended the nursery and one still attends currently. The staff are friendly and always willing to take comments and accommodate any specific

My daughter has been at the nursery since September 2016, she started off in Tiggers. Since being there she has progressed very well under the guidance of the staff at the nursery and loves every minute of it there. She is now in Honey Pots and on a Friday they have an activity with the sports coach,
archery or football are her favourites, which she absolutely loves.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Have been extremely accommodating towards my autistic son. Always greeted with a smile. All of the staff in his room are lovely and even give me suggestions on how I can help him at home. I was concerned about putting my son in nursery as he is non-verbal but I am so
glad I went ahead with it. He has come on leaps and bounds in such a short space of time.

I only have excellent things to say about the nursery. We have 3 children all of whom have attended the nursery in a full-time capacity since 13 months old. The nursery provides such genuine love and care to our children and they have developed so well in all aspects so happy we couldn't wish for a
better choice of nursery. The staff are always willing to work with us both full time working parents and always supportive. Thank you.

Many changes happened when my children attended which is the reason I took them out. No consistency with staff. I never saw the same face and no connection between staff and parents. No encouragement with the children's development and no support for parents. The after school club is terrible, children
are allowed to do what they want, swear and sit idle for 2 hours. Also, there were many times I would find that my son was not even on the sign in sheet, God forbid if there was a fire, my son would not have been accounted for.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 7 months and has grown into a happy, confident toddler. She loves coming to nursery and the staff make it easy for me to leave her knowing she is in safe hands. We are currently going through potty training process and can't thank the staff enough for

This nursery is fantastic. My daughter has the opportunity to grow and develop with the help from the fantastic staff there. Each room has there own garden which the children can come and go as they please. Not forgetting the huge back garden they have. I feel confident enough to leave my daughter with
these amazing and enthusiastic staff members. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

I have been involved in the early years sector since 2012, and my journey with Bright Horizons began in 2017. I started my career as a nursery nurse in a sizable nursery back in 2012 and have steadily progressed to become a Nursery Manager. Along the way, I have attained a level 3 diploma in childcare and further education, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. I am also qualified as a SENDCO, and I am currently pursuing my level 5 diploma in business management.


My role as a Nursery Manager is something I am truly passionate about. My goal is to provide top-notch care and education, creating an inclusive, engaging, and exciting environment where all children can learn and thrive.

Hi, my name is Aynsley and I am the Nursery Manager.


Since 2015, I have been actively involved in the early years sector, and my journey in this field has been truly fulfilling. Prior to this, I spent six years working in a SEND department, where I had the privilege of working closely with children. Throughout my career, I have consistently sought to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve the children in my care.


I am proud to hold a level 3 diploma in children's learning and development, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. These qualifications have been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and allowing me to take on greater responsibilities.


My progression within Bright Horizons has been significant, having started as a bank staff member and now proudly serving as the Deputy Nursery Manager. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.


As the Deputy Nursery Manager, I am deeply passionate about my role and the impact I can make on the lives of children and their families. My primary focus is to provide high-quality childcare with enriching environments that foster learning and growth. One of the ways I achieve this is by mentoring and supporting our dedicated staff, helping them develop their own skills and expertise.


Being a good role model to others is also important to me. I believe that leading by example is a powerful way to inspire positive change and encourage the delivery of high-quality care across the nursery.


I wake up every day with a sense of purpose and dedication to making a difference in the lives of the children we care for. It is a privilege to contribute to their early years' development and create a nurturing space where they can flourish. I am excited about the journey ahead and the continued opportunities to learn, grow, and positively impact the lives of those in my care.
