I was anxious about sending my daughter to nursery as she has complex health conditions however from joining at 13m I cannot fault the care the staff have taken over my child. They followed her care plan carefully for over 3yrs until she graduated from pre school. All the staff of the nursery from the office, to the kitchen to all of the keyworkers have been amazing with her and she has built great bonds with everyone. She enjoyed everyday of her time at bright horizons and I cannot thank them all for making us all feel so comfortable. The activities, the meals, the events held make it a very inclusive environment. Never would I send my child to this nursery again. The care is terrible. My child come home numerous time with marks and staff members never noticed a thing. My child come home very upset one evening and complain about sores down below after an incident happened in the bathroom with another child....
Another incident happened where a nonverbal child bit my child and staff member made it sound like it was ok as the other child couldn't communicate. All I got was sorry every time. My child is now at another and not had one problem since January.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 1 and is very close to graduating from preschool. She made lots of friends but the bond she formed with all her key workers from the beginning has been so lovely to watch. There is an app in which you can see what the children are up to and at preschool level especially, it’s amazing to see the topics they learn about. She comes home and shares new words she learnt in French, and the same words in Makaton (sign language) and I’m constantly blown away at the knowledge and variety of things she picks up at Bright Horizons.

My son has been here just gone two months and we have seen significant developments since. The nursery is perfect for him. He runs in daily. He loves it so much he gets upset that he can’t come in on the weekends! Just a testament of the incredible job the staff are doing. The teachers he has are 10/10. They pay so much attention to him but most importantly, they are intentional. As first-time parents, it can be a bit nerve-wracking leaving your child elsewhere but we get constant updates on their activities, food intake and nap times. Simply a well-run nursery. We love it here.

Since 2015, I have been actively involved in the early years sector, and my journey in this field has been truly fulfilling. Prior to this, I spent six years working in a SEND department, where I had the privilege of working closely with children. Throughout my career, I have consistently sought to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve the children in my care.
I am proud to hold a level 3 diploma in children's learning and development, as well as a level 3 diploma in leadership and management. These qualifications have been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and allowing me to take on greater responsibilities.
My progression within Bright Horizons has been significant, having started as a bank staff member and now proudly serving as the Deputy Nursery Manager. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, I am deeply passionate about my role and the impact I can make on the lives of children and their families. My primary focus is to provide high-quality childcare with enriching environments that foster learning and growth. One of the ways I achieve this is by mentoring and supporting our dedicated staff, helping them develop their own skills and expertise.
