Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool

Great stuff. Oh and son no. 2 is starting there shortly too, so I guess we must love it!

Now that I use the After School Club, care is of the same high standard, catering to the needs of the elder children with craft, computer console, outdoor games etc. I couldn't imagine my children going anywhere else!

Springfield is an excellent pre-school. My son attends the school and he is always looking forward to school. They have nice and friendly staff who take a personal interest in my son, and I see them display the same attitude to other kids in the school.

I remember a particular day I took my son to school and he got clingy, a member of staff came to cheer him up and helped him snap out of the mood very quickly. He eased up to her and was all playful and smiling by the time I returned to pick him up.

Overall, the school has helped my son's social skills and I know for a fact that he is ready for the challenge of nursery.

I recommended Springfield very highly to any parent looking to get their kid started with pre-school life.

As soon as my husband and I viewed this nursery for our 1-year-old daughter, we knew we had made the right decision. Deciding to place your child into nursery at such a young age, can be a very daunting experience but the staff have been absolutely amazing and I couldn’t praise her key workers enough! My daughter loves going there and it’s a pleasure to see her thrive in such an excellent environment.

I have looked at several Nurseries around the Dartford area and Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool stands out. I felt that my child is safe, secure and well cared for. It's been more than 9 months since my child has been going to this nursery, they were helpful in every way in caring for my child, looking after my child after recovering from an illness and giving the prescribed medication or taking extra care in food requirements when my child is sick. Constant communication on my commute for picking up my child, for a high traffic affected area in Dartford this is a bonus. All in all, I feel my child is safe in the nursery.

Excellent - we saw several nurseries and this was the only one we really wanted to put our son into. Key workers really care, all of the staff are very attentive, and the activities are really engaging and part of a well-constructed development plan. Cannot recommend enough.

A great nursery - staff are always friendly and give me daily updates and feedback. I always feel my child is safe and secure there.

I would highly recommend Springfield Lodge, Dartford. I have been using them so far for almost 5 years and am happy with the service they provide.

My second son left this nursery in August. In all, between my 2 children, we have used the nursery for 7 years continuously and I'm afraid to say it is not as good as it used to be.

There is a 'favourites' system and if your child is not one of their favourites there are some members of staff who are not friendly. It's such a shame as some are truly are wonderful but there can be a very 'cliquey' atmosphere which can make you feel uncomfortable.

We had also used the holiday club run by the nursery which is now like an institute! Horrible, cold, uncaring place. Will never use again.

I was so nervous when my little boy started at 1. He is now 26 months and has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are amazing and makes no difference if they are from his team or helping from a different room they are friendly and approachable. The bond my little boy has with the ladies in both his first room his second room is so clear to see and heartwarming. Every day I notice new things he has learnt or new words he is using. I like how the room layouts and activities get changed around to keep them interested.

The outdoor space is great as well lots to see and do and he loves all the animals as well. If ever he has a bad morning (they all will at some point) he likes to see rabbits or fish and calms right down and settles into breakfast time quickly. Its important to me that I can access his development log whenever I like to see how he is progressing. So pleased we did our researched and picked Springfield Lodge.

Caring, loving team, from key workers to management. Parents and children are made to feel comfortable and welcoming in a professional yet family-like environment. Parents preferences, wishes and requests in regards to care of their children are respected and taken into account during the day to day of our little ones. The staff is knowledgeable on overall child development but most essentially on each and every individual child progress and development. Children are treated as unique individuals and respected as such.

Staff is always available to support parents and to clarify any doubts. Management has always been open and proactive to any suggestions, concerns and/or criticism.

Brilliant Nursery, very happy I chose Springfield Lodge for my daughter. She’s very happy there and the staff are all lovely and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter was at the nursery for just over a year. The staff helped her to transition seamlessly through their support and the loving environment they provided. It is an extremely expensive nursery but it was worth it. They nurtured her development and I will forever be grateful to them.

My daughter loves her days at nursery and I never feel I need to question the care she receives. Staff are friendly, caring and committed. They will always go above and beyond for their families.

Staff are very friendly and easy to talk to with any concerns I may have.

My daughter is learning very well, knows her numbers and alphabet which has been a huge influence from the nursery. Highly recommend. She has been coming from 9 months old and is nearly 3 now.

Both of my children have attended/attends this nursery. My Son is currently there and is very happy to go. He is well looked after and the staff are very fond of the children (they are not just there to do a job, but care for each child).

You get a lovely feel when you walk into the nursery and the staff are very welcoming. There is so much for the children to do inside and outside of the nursery which is great.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 5 months old and whilst he's not yet able to articulate his opinion, I cannot recommend this Nursery enough.

As a first-time parent returning to work, finding a nursery that guarantees the safety of my child, as well as caring staff and rooms full of interesting, engaging and fun things to do, was essential and Springfield Lodge was the only nursery that ticked all the boxes for me.

The staff are the biggest asset and selling point of the nursery. You can tell they enjoy their job and care for the children - they're all fab!

All meals are prepared onsite and are nutritionally balanced (they also sound delicious!) and bedding for naps is per child and cleaned weekly (as well as all facilities being very clean and looking tidy). The outside space is also something that can't be matched by others in the area.

I would absolutely recommend viewing the nursery and considering it for your child.
