The warm, homely nursery in Dartford is designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

They support the youngest children with the transition into nursery through free settling in sessions at the beginning, and fun, engaging activities as they grow with the nursery. For preschoolers, the focus is on the transition from nursery to school. Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery boasts a stunning outdoor space. There is freeflow access to the gardens so your child can explore outside at their leisure. The garden is also large enough to accommodate chickens that the children enjoy learning about and feeding.

Springfield Lodge Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery where I feel very confident leaving my 18-month-old. It is well run and has a great team of carers. I love the fact that I can drop my son off each day knowing he has the best of care and is very happy being there. The team do their utmost to ensure
that there are different activities for the children every day and there is also the wonderful outdoor space which is a huge plus. I couldn't be happier leaving my son there and seeing as I barely get a wave from him, when he heads in and off to breakfast, I think it's safe to say he feels the same! I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Staff are happy and friendly and have helped my little boy settle in fantastically.
As a first time mum who has never had to leave my toddler with a stranger, I was made to feel very reassured that my son would be well cared for and have a fun and structured time with them.
I also feel like I am
kept very much in the loop with his day book and the nurseries emails.

Our daughter loves it here, she's learned and grown so much. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food she gets is amazing, she eats better than we do! Highly recommended. She'll be sad when she leaves to go to school.

Our experience with this Nursery has been amazing. We always feel well informed on nursery matters as well as the activities our child does each day. My child settled in so well and he built a bond with his key worker and other staff in his room really quickly. I am very impressed with the meals
they get every day as well as the activities they do with the children. This was definitely the best decision we have made and made the transition back to work so much easier. My son is very happy at Springfield Lodge and can’t wait to go to nursery in the morning.

Fantastic Nursery settled my daughter in perfectly and was well looked after for the day. The team managed her problems fantastically and she couldn't wait to return. Freshly cooked meals and snacks throughout the day which she also loved as well as playing in the large garden and seeing the animals
within the grounds.

Both my children have attended Springfield Lodge. My daughter from 11 months and my son from 10 months. We took him out for a short period of time but soon realised that he was not settling in the other nursery, so decided to bring him back. This was by far the best decision we have made for him. My
daughter grew up in this nursery until she went to school, and now holiday club.
The staff are all really lovely, they have been kind and welcoming to both us as parents and our children. Their welfare has always been top priority and that is what matters most.


I have and will keep on recommending this nursery as the best in the area. A happy, growing and learning child is of utmost importance and Springfield Lodge has given this to both my children. I feel the activities offered at the nursery are great, the open outdoors area is well kept and gives the children a great opportunity to get out and about at all times. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the management and staff at Springfield Lodge for their loving, caring support of my children.

Lovely friendly nursery. Both my children have attended and enjoyed their time there. They have fantastic caring staff who look after the children very well, keep them safe and help develop their needs. They inform parents well on their learning and have a well resourced environment with plenty of stimulation.
Meals are great and nutrious and my children have had lots of fun and developed many key personal skills there.

We have been using the nursery for over 3 years. All the staff at the nursery are professional, polite, approachable and maintains very high standards of care of the children. There is and has always been excellent communication between the nursery and family at all times. The nursery environment is
clean, interactive, colorful and engaging for the children. The in-house kitchen provides an excellent variety of healthy and balanced meals. The menu is seasonal allowing children to try different types of food.
There is plenty of outdoor space and playing outside is encouraged from the very start. The children love the rabbits, chickens and ducks. The breakfast and after school club, school bus and the holiday club helps working parents a great deal.
Both our children are very happy and we as parents feel extremely comfortable leaving our children under the care of this brilliant team.

The staff are amazing! So helpful, and seem to genuinely love the kids. There is plenty of outdoor space, rabbits, chickens and 2 ducks after they were hatched in Spring. My son has been going since 9 months old, and starts school in Sept, and I can't imagine anyone better to have looked after him apart
from family. He loves the place, and can't wait to go each day. It's such a relief as a mum to have found such an overall lovely place for him. Can't recommend it enough!

My second child has just started at the nursery and I wouldn't have sent her anywhere else. They care, love and nurture all children this nursery to such a high standard. Children are provided with a balanced diet with good variety (more than they would get at home!) they are stimulated with activities
throughout the day with good quality toys and equipment. The outdoor space is huge and there are plenty of animals for the children to see and learn about. This is an excellent nursery!

My little girl has attended Springfield Lodge for around 18 months, she is very happy and content at Springfield Lodge and looks forward to nursery every day. I am a full time working parent and to know my daughter looks forward to nursery and loves all the staff, I know I made the right decision returning
to work!
All the staff are very caring and friendly, and the nursery has great facilities.
I would definitely recommend Springfield Lodge to anyone looking for exceptional childcare.

My son has been attending this nursery for less than a year but I have been very pleased with the progress he has been making. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and are always happy to fill me on his day. Everything and everybody seems well organised and the office staff keep us parents well
informed of events and any notifications.
Overall, I'm very happy with the choice we made.

I would recommend Springfield Lodge. The staff have gone above and beyond for my family. When we lost one of our twin daughters at 17 months they were so supportive to both my husband and I and the children. The care my children have received has been amazing and I feel confident they are safe and being
cared for.


When our son didn't get any of our school choices and was offered a primary school not on the nurseries preferred drop off list, they organised with the school to be added on. This meant that I was able to drop my daughter to nursery and my son to breakfast/after school club at one place and that my son would be taken and picked up from school.


The various options on the menu are brilliant. I sometimes think they have a better lunch than I do. Both my children are happy and have made so many friends. The facilities are brilliant and it's a clean and happy environment. I couldn't ask for more and makes my life so much easier knowing that my children are safe and happy whilst I'm at work.

Excellent care and the team are very proactive. My oldest son has recently moved onto reception and the change in him is amazing. We absolutely love this nursery. The staff are so friendly, approachable and helpful. Not only do we love them but more importantly our 18-month-old son does too. They made his settling in so easy and he now loves going to the nursery.


The staff are knowledgeable and go out of their way to make

the parents feel at ease as well as the children. There is always a range of activities set up for the children with variety every day. The outside area is amazing with lots of opportunities for children to explore and learn. Our son loves the ducks and chickens.


The communication from the nursery is second to none and we feel really informed of the daily goings on as well as our child's progress.


We could not be happier that we chose to send our son here.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. We used to send her to another branch of the same nursery, when we moved to Dartford we found this one. She has been attending nursery since she was 8 months. The staff are well trained and care for my child just as their own. They are so full of energy
and always smiling. The big gardens give children plenty of space to play and there is no feeling of confinement. Their food menu is really good and well thought out. I highly recommend this place.

Springfield Lodge, Dartford is an excellent nursery.


My daughter has attended for nearly 2 years and is extremely happy here. We chose this nursery after a recommendation from a friend.


The management are organised, approachable with brilliant communication.


The staff genuinely love working

with the children and I get daily enthusiastic reports on progress and her antics.


The communication is immaculate which is so important in this environment.


There is lots of outdoor space and the children go out everyday (most weather) and the activities are stimulating and educational.


I am very happy with this nursery and would not hesitate to recommend.

I have had children at the nursery over the last 8 years and am so glad I found this hidden gem. My son had food intolerance and the staff were amazing at providing a menu he could enjoy.


The staff are amazing, the care is excellent and the grounds are lovely too. A super outdoor area, well resourced

room and staff that work alongside parents to provide an excellent learning experience for children. Highly recommended!!

The staff at this nursery are amazing they have helped my child's development grow and now she is about to go to school and they have helped her so she that she ready to start at her new school. My son has attended Springfield Lodge since he was 3. I cannot recommend this nursery enough! He has loved his time here. All the girls, from the ones in direct contact in his class, to the reception/management team right through to the team in the kitchen he knows all of them and loves every single
one. He has learnt so much and developed so well, the set up was exactly what I wanted from a nursery, just like a preschool, friendly, warm and welcoming.

I have worked for Springfield Lodge since 2006 and started as a Nursery Nurse within our Tawny Owls Room. Before this, I worked in Australia for a year working within a very small nursery, very different in size to Springfield.


Within Springfield, I have worked my way up to a management position. I have seen the nursery go through several changes and two outstanding Ofsted inspections.
I hold a higher national diploma in Early Years Care and a BSc (Hons) degree in Health and Child Development.


From a very early age, I have always wanted to work with children and follow the footsteps of family members who have also followed this career path bringing knowledge and experience to help and support not only the children but my team.

I have worked in the childcare sector for over 25 years. I have a level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. I have a wealth of experience, working as a nanny, a nursery practitioner, a room leader and in leadership roles, joining Bright Horizons in October 2022.


I enjoy working as a team and value everyone’s ideas, I have the passion to drive my team to be the best they can be.
