Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter started attending in September 2021 and will attend until she starts school in September 2023. The facilities are great. Amazing outdoor space. My daughter had no trouble settling in and loves it. Both our child and we feel safe and well cared for. Staff are hardworking and approachable. The open line of communication between parents and staff is exceptional - I couldn't live without the app which tells us everything happening in real time. The manager is very dedicated and organised. There are procedures in place for everything, which are followed well. We are extremely lucky to have found this nursery and to have had such an easy registration process at fairly short notice and without having to be put on a waiting list. It was daunting placing our first child into nursery, especially during the pandemic, but the nursery made it easy and we felt reassured at all times. Our daughter is bilingual and this is handled very well. I would happily place my future children there!

I cannot rate Springfield Lodge enough! I had two ideas that I wanted met when placing my daughter into a nursery due to work commitments in 2020. First, I wanted my baby girl to be happy, second, I needed to ensure she would be safe - even more so due to Covid and starting in 2020, it was a must! I viewed multiple nurseries in the local areas, but not one came close to the level of cleanliness of Springfield Lodge and instantly my little girl's face lit up. The toys are clean, high quality and educational, even in the baby rooms. My girl is now in preschool at Springfield Lodge and I wish they could extend the year for school holidays, as my girl loves it here. Sidenote, my little girl has been kept safe and covid free for two years, whilst attending for full days 3 days, a week, 52 weeks a year! The care, love and support the nursery show to my little girl and us family members is beyond any hopes I had. It really feels like a home from home and an extended family with staff.

My daughter is attending the nursery since she was 1 year and 3 months old. We started in the middle of the pandemic when we did not have the luxury of getting inside the nursery with our daughter, but the staff was amazing, brilliant communications and feedback at the end of the session (full/half day) and always trying to present how she was managing, inside. The app is also very nicely designed, you can follow up on your child, through the app. The staff always open to my enquiries, always understanding, trying to accommodate my child's needs. My daughter slowly got more attached and accepted the idea of nursery and I think that was because of the amazing staff the nursery has. The higher management again, always addressing my worries and answering the same day, my texts. Amazing! Many thanks!

I've had a great experience with this nursery. My daughter is 10 months and has just started here, they offered settling in sessions for her and she really enjoyed them, the staff have made her feel comfortable and safe she has been getting more and more used to being at the nursery for longer days. She loves the food and having a kitchen on site was a huge draw when we were picking a nursery for her. They have a huge open space for the children, and a smaller space for the babies but it's still more than big enough for them and they can use the wider space when the bigger children aren't running around too much. My daughter has had an opportunity to mix with lots of different babies and children which will help her development and will get her used to being around lots of children and other adults in the run up to going to school. They offer so much more for her than I could ever provide at home and she really enjoys herself when she's there. I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little girl attends Springfield Lodge Day Nursery and I have to say my little girl has come along leaps and bounds. The staff and management, especially, are extremely helpful and always on hand when needed. I couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my daughter to be in. The staff go over and beyond and do an excellent job with the children. I do have to give a special shout-out to the manager, who has helped me with anything I have been stuck on. Highly recommend this nursery!

Outstanding nursery. Having twins with special needs can be a worrying time when it comes to choosing the right nursery. The staff could not be more helpful, and management is always around if and when needed. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since 2018, just before she turned one. I have always had great connections and communication from her key worker and she has always enjoyed her time there. She is now due to go to school and will miss all of her friends and adults that she has met. I have always felt that any concern I may have had has been taken on board, whether it had been about her toilet training, not eating well, or not speaking as early as her brother did and the staff has always been available to help out. The staff are well trained and friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

The way he was dressed at pick-up showed lack of care.

My son has been going to Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool for over two years and my daughter started end of April 2021. I cannot fault the nursery for the support they have given me and my children over the last twelve months. Keeping in contact during lockdowns, allowing me to freeze my sons account and the support they have given my daughter and myself since she has started too. My daughter has been fairly unsettled during her sessions but the staff have been amazing at being honest with me about how she has been, offering reassurance and making me feel as though I can call as much as I like. I feel my daughter has massively improved within only a couple of weeks and this is all due to the amazing staff. My son also would cry when I left him since lockdown but now runs in without looking back, they both clearly love nursery and are well looked after and cared for. I’m always praising the nursery to family and friends and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for childcare.

My daughter has been attending Springfield Lodge since February. She found leaving me hard at first but every single staff member has been so kind, warm and welcoming to her. They really make her feel at home and encourage her. You can tell they really care about the children and do everything they can to ensure they have a good day. They are always able to tell me all about what my daughter has been up to, eaten, toilet trips, who she plays with etc. I drive away feeling content that my daughter is in the best hands.

My daughter has been attending Springfield Lodge for eighteen months. She made the transition from another Bright Horizons branch to this one, when we moved house. The team made it very easy for us, as parents to change her over but also made my daughter feel incredibly welcome, to the point she barely needed a settling-in period, she was so happy to go in. Recently, my daughter has qualified for the thirty hours of funding and the nursery supported us with the required paperwork and were able to offer us an extra day too. As I am a key worker myself, my daughter has continued going to nursery in this most recent lockdown and the nursery have facilitated a day change in order to ensure my daughter is in childcare on my busiest days at work. This was hassle-free and easy to arrange with the manager. Making it so easy at such a difficult time, has been greatly appreciated. My daughter is very happy at nursery and jumps out of the car every day with a smile and waves me off.

Our son has been attending the nursery for two years now and loves it. The staff are friendly and helped him settle in quickly. The activities are varied and keep our son engaged. We know he's going to be well cared for and enjoy his time there.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 8 months old. When she joined, we didn't know she would have several learning disabilities. The nursery have been amazing and have made many adaptions for her. She wouldn't be where she is today without the amazing support that she has received at the nursery. We will be sad to be leaving in September as she will be starting school. No doubt about it, I would one million per cent recommend Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge to anyone.

We had recently moved into the area and were looking at nurseries to send our two children. I had been anxious sending my children to nursery after having a long maternity leave at home with my two children. This was the third nursery we looked at and we instantly felt this would be the best place to send our children. The staff are amazing - hard-working and dedicated. My children have achieved a lot of milestones. My son is still currently at the nursery and he is doing exceptionally well in his communication and understanding of the world. He will be soon leaving nursery to start school and if we do have another child, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for the wonderful four years of taking care of our children.

Since joining Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge my daughter has come on in leaps and bounds. She loves attending and often runs straight in and to those who look after her with is a testament to how good they are. They take the time to understand each child's needs and help them develop. They are warm and welcoming and it is generally a great place for kids to learn.

Fantastic nursery. Their levels of engagement with our daughter are amazing and they are having a hugely positive impact on her development. She loves spending time there and constantly is telling us about what she's got up to that day and who her favourites are!

Very supportive day nursery. They have been a major support system in helping my child with his additional needs and supporting me as a parent. Their childcare knowledge is outstanding. Their care and support have been invaluable.
