Bright Horizons Wilmington Day Nursery and Preschool

The experience has been great, each day has differed in relation to my child’s activities and learning. This has been identified through the way she communicates with me. The nursery have been extremely accommodating to my child’s individual needs as she gets older i.e. learning to potty train. Overall, a great experience.

We are really happy with Willmington Nursery. The staff are excellent and so attentive. Our daughter has progressed so much with them. The activities are always interesting and planned for her development.

I love Bright Horizons, feels like family and my daughter is well-taken care of and all the team goes the extra mile to meet our needs. My daughter's food journey wasn't always easy but the nursery staff have always supported us so thank you all!

We are really happy with the nursery. Individual approach, staff are respectful and interested in each child in a safe environment. There is a big garden with lots of opportunities for the kids to play and engage.

The nursery group have been fantastic with my son. He’s so much more confident in social situations and generally happy. The staff are brilliant and very attentive to his needs. I’m so pleased I chose this nursery for him. Thank you, team.

We are really happy with Bright Horizons and feel that our child’s needs are really supported. He is happy and talks about preschool positively. He has formed a fantastic relationship with his key worker, and this makes us really happy.

Our daughter is very happy here and enjoys her time at nursery. She has made friends with other children and gets on well with the staff. They do a wide range of activities which keep her entertained and she naps and eats well.

My child is very happy at Bright Horizons. Management is helpful and always willing to help and accommodate where possible. The staff in class are great. The making of the new Oak class has been a highlight for our while, who enjoys learning in this environment. We feel it is very beneficial for the kids to have this class as a stepping stone to school.

We are really pleased with Bright Horizons. All the staff are great, and our daughter loves coming here. Lots of activities, and we love getting the pictures. She really likes all the variety of meals here too.

I absolutely love everything about this nursery, my daughter has grown leaps and bounds, the staff are incredible, not only great at their job, but just so genuinely loving and caring with the children. They put my mind at ease and made my transition back to work so much easier. Putting my daughter into this nursery was the best thing I could have done. We couldn’t be happier with Bright Horizons and all of the staff we have met. Our daughter changing from one nursery to another was a worry for us as she had just settled, but she has settled in so quickly and so well, we are over the moon.

Settling in process for full days could be improved as currently only up to 3-hour settle session; a full day is up to 10 hours so we opted to do some half days before starting full days.

My child has a great time at preschool and is clearly making progress. There are a wide range of activities and the staff are all wonderful. The food is varied and nutritious. Outdoor play is encouraged and children are taught to try new things. Confidence, resilience and social skills are developed.

Would 100% recommend. The management try so hard to keep the nursery looking fantastic and up-to-date with important dates and festivals. The staff really care about the children and there is a wonderful atmosphere in the preschool room. The new oak room is outstanding. The setup is perfect and so well thought out. We really appreciate the hard work of staff.

I was more than happy to send my second child here, he has been going for a few months now and walks in happily. We are updated on their progress through the app and are sent lots of pictures/videos of their day. I'm more than happy for my children to be cared for by such a wonderful team.

After moving our child from another nursery to Bright Horizons Wilmington Day Nursery and Preschool, we are so happy we made the change. Our son seems so much happier and the constant feedback from the staff via the app is reassuring and a pleasure to read.

Our son has settled in so well at this nursery. The staff in the play room are so friendly, and you really feel that you can trust them to look after your child. We can see our son blossoming, and his confidence is growing. I recommend this nursery to anyone in the area looking for reliable and trustworthy childcare.

When our son started school, we decided to start our 2-year-old daughter in nursery after having such a great experience with our son. She is settling in brilliantly and we can't thank the nursery room staff/manager, enough for their support.

Lovely staff. Really make a great effort in filling you in on your child's day and any cute, interesting or funny things they may have done. My little one started at 9 months old and used to cry every day (not because of the nursery, but just because she wasn't used to not being with us). The staff would always reassure me and were happy to post update photos of her during those difficult early days. She is 12 months old now and loves it and we love the photo updates we get of our daughter's activities. Couldn't be happier with the staff in the 12-18month old baby room. Even the chef is very friendly, approachable and made us feel at ease (our daughter has allergies), so this was quite important too.
