Bright Horizons Wilmington Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter has only been attending here for around 2 months and she's already settled in so well! She's quite a shy baby but instantly bonded with her key person from the day she started! When we pick her up, she doesn't even acknowledge us as she's clearly had the best day. The nursery even manage to get her to eat a lot of her meals and snacks which she won't even eat at home! The food they offer is a good variety and they also do a lot of activities with the babies daily. The daily updates on the app has been comforting as a first time mum back at work. The staff are so lovely and smiley and tell you all about your child's day when you pick them up. Fab nursery, we can't fault them!

Our little boy absolutely loves this nursery! He transferred from another one when we moved area and used to cry at every drop off there but now runs through the door barely stopping to say goodbye! He seems so content and happy with the team there and we can see all the new skills he is learning from being there when he gets back home - would highly recommend for anyone looking for a caring, nurturing nursery.

The activities are well-structured and clearly designed to help the children learn and grow. I'm constantly amazed by how much they're learning and the new experiences they're exposed to. This nursery is truly broadening their horizons and setting them up for a bright future.

All the staff in the baby room have been amazing with settling my daughter into nursery. She is creating such an amazing bond with the staff and loves seeing her key worker every day. I'm so pleased I chose this nursery and have noticed an improvement in my daughter's cognitive learning and physical development. All the staff are caring and kind and I couldn't ask for better staff to care for my baby whilst I'm at work.

My little girl found the transition to nursery a little tricky for the first few weeks however the staff in the baby room took the time to build relationships with her, got to know her cheeky ways and she is now so keen to go in each morning and puts her arms straight out for one member of staff, in particular. Two members of staff, in particular, know the children so well and always deliver excellent handovers so we, as parents, know just how our little ones have been. Really impressed.

Our experience with Bright Horizons Wilmington Day Nursery and Preschool is exceptional. Our older child attended the nursery and he didn't want to come home after so much fun, love and care he received. Our younger child has been attending since he was 1 and he'll be almost 4 soon and absolutely loves the nursery and again, does not want to come home. The nursery and staff are incredible, caring, kind, loving and supportive. We feel very lucky to have chosen a wonderful nursery with amazing staff.

We've had a very positive experience with Bright Horizons Wilmington. The staff are so friendly, and caring and have supported my child in gaining his independence. They continuously provide updates on my child through photos, handovers, and general reviews each month. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

The staff are always welcoming and approachable. My son took a while to settle however his key person went out of her way to ensure his needs and interests were met especially during drop off as he could get upset when I left him. The app for parents is a fantastic way to check up on your little ones during the day, with staff sharing activities the children have been up to, what they have eaten, sleep times, ect. It gives peace of mind to anxious parents like myself. I wouldn't send my son anywhere else. To the team at Wilmington Day Nursery... you are all stars thank you for your continued care and commitment.

The team dedicated a whole afternoon to a lovely Mother’s Day tea party inclusive of cakes, sandwiches and crafts! It was so lovely to spend time with the staff, others mums and grandparents as well as enjoying play time and crafts with my baby. Thank you all for a lovely afternoon!

Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want your children to be looked after and have good, positive, hardworking people around them then look no further.

We have had two children attend Bright Horizons Wilmington and had no issues, haven’t seen one staff member I wouldn’t be happy to leave them with. All the staff are friendly, always smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. Management are approachable, understanding, helpful and polite. We have had one child graduate and the other is currently still going!

I highly recommend Bright Horizons. The management and staff are always welcoming and friendly. The staff think of such exciting and interesting activities for the children, and I am always confident my daughter has had a fun-filled day. We check the app regularly which gives us all the information we need to know, but staff always have time in the evening to feedback. I only wish we discovered Bright Horizons Wilmington sooner, as it has been the most positive childcare choice we have ever made! I feel confident that when my daughter starts school she will be ready - due to the preparation, encouragement and care she receives. Thank you!

Returning back to work as a new mum was very daunting but the baby room did everything possible to make me feel at ease leaving my daughter there. While settling they sent home pictures and would make sure she was happy and comfortable in her new surroundings. They care for my daughter as they would care for a family member and I feel at ease knowing she’s getting as much love, attention and joy at nursery as she does at home.

Our child has progressed a lot since starting with the nursery. They have learnt loads and are developing a great character that we love so much! We can’t wait to see the continued progression as we watch our child grow. Thank you.

Amazing nursery. My daughter loves it and has learned so much and always eats really well and they give her a variety of food. The staff are amazing and my daughter always leaves me smiling so I know she’s always having a good time. Can’t recommend enough.

My son has settled in fantastically at nursery and all the staff have been amazing! We couldn’t have picked a better nursery! He loves all of the activities and food that are on offer. His key person always keeps us updated about his day and progress.

The nursery experience has been fantastic from the start to his current time here. The staff are incredibly supportive and our son seems happy once settled here.
