Tops Day Nurseries: Newport Nursery

Since my son started at Tops Day Nursery, he has gained in confidence and always looks forward to going to nursery. They have been very supportive of his needs and communicate well with his progress. The staff are very pleasant to talk too and make the setting very welcoming for my son and myself. I would very much recommend this nursery for anyone’s child.

This nursery has been brilliant with my son who has just started again after lockdown. He was very emotional today, but the staff really did help him a lot, and I can’t wait for him to be back in properly and start making new friends. The staff are lovely, and I couldn’t appreciate it anymore, so thank you all so much! See you all back next week.

I highly recommend this nursery. The staff are passionate and dedicated to their job. They have developed interesting and stimulating play areas, which change frequently to maintain the children's interest. They are very approachable and welcoming to parents and children. The office staff are very organised and are quick to respond to questions.

My little boy has been attending Tops Newport since he was 6 months old, he is my first child and he is now 3.5years old. Tops staff were the first to notice my little boy had educational needs, they supported me in asking health visitor for a referral to early year special education and is now getting so much support. I can not thank the staff at Tops enough they are always so kind, patient and even though my little boy can’t communicate verbally I know he loves his time at nursery. My little boy doesn’t always choose to join in with the group activities but the staff ensure he is always included, in whatever way my little boy is comfortable with. The staff go above and beyond you could not find a better nursery. I have recommended this nursery to all my friends and will continue to do so. The staff are amazing!!!

At the moment my child attends Hi 5 breakfast and after school clubs.

My little boy started in October when he was eight months old - as a neurotic first time mum, I was worried about how he’d be away from me, but my anxiety was for nothing. I was quickly put at ease by the friendliness and professionalism of all staff. My little boy adores his key worker and loves going ‘to school’ he’s so happy and content. I’m grateful everyday for the amazing learning and loving environment all at Tops provide for him.

Both my kids have attended Tops in Lymington and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It's a happy place where the kids are well cared for. The facilities are good and they get healthy food and there is lots of opportunity to get active and be outdoors.

Our 3-year-old twins have been attending Tops Day Nursery since they were 8 months old. Tops stands out against others as it is so clean and modern looking. The rooms are filled with many sensory toys and it is well staffed. Staff are loved by all of the kids I see there. Our two refer to their key people as their best friends

Staff and management are very approachable, any issues a quickly addressed and my daughter is always eager to go to nursery every day.

My daughter started in January 2020, she is my firstborn and was extremely anxious about returning to work and all the staff were amazing in settling my daughter in and she is extremely happy. I get regular observations and pictures which makes my day.

Such a warm and welcoming Nursery. My child is always happy to attend. And I feel her needs are fully met.

He has the best time and the staff are all wonderful!

An all-round excellent nursery, they have taught my child lots. They get plenty of fresh air and stimulation through a variety of different activities. I regularly recommend Tops to work colleagues and family.

I have put two children through this nursery, one who returns during school holidays for High 5's and one who is still in pre-school. I am 100% satisfied and cannot imagine them being anywhere else. The friendliness, care and communication both I and the children receive is second to none. The children are always engaging in new activities and there are always different themes in keeping with today's modern world.

We love Tops. From when we looked around, to meeting all the staff, including our key worker, we just think our boy is completely safe and well looked after. He learns loads and has great fun too. We absolutely love the eyLog app and the updates we get while we’re at work. They normally make one or both of us well up a little.

When I first entered the nursery the setting was very lovely, even the staff. I felt very welcomed and felt that the nursery was well looked after. There were lots of opportunities for the younger ones to explore, and the staff fully interacted with the babies and had their full interest at heart. I would fully recommend this nursery to anyone who has a younger one.

Tops nursery is a brilliant place for children to be supported to learn and grow. I’ve been really pleased with how they have supported my daughter and how they contribute to offer reassurance to us as first-time parents. Thank you!

My little girl has been here since May 2019 when she was 17 months, starting in the babies room (0-2) and has recently moved up to the 2-3 room. I honestly cannot express enough just how lovely all the staff are who I have met in the nursery, not just ones in her room or who know her, but anyone you meet on-site who works there. They’ve always gone above and beyond to make sure she’s happy, and after a really nervous start and thinking she was never going to let me leave without crying for me all day like she was to begin with, she has made some lovely attachments to the adults and now happily goes to them for a cuddle with open arms when we arrive. There is always someone to meet her when we get there, welcoming her and immediately making conversation with her and taking her for a cuddle and off to play. The communication has been amazing and I love getting her diary logs during the day while she’s there with pictures and videos.

My daughter has been attending Tops for the last 18 months. I cannot praise the staff there enough. They all provide excellent care for my daughter and have supported her learning and development throughout her time there. Their attention to detail with the resources they use and the activities they provide is fantastic. Most importantly they provide an environment in which my daughter feels safe and cared for. She absolutely loves it there!

Tops on the Isle of Wight is amazing! My daughter loves going and has come on amazing in her development! She’s been going since 9 months old and hadn’t been with anyone but me before then so I was so anxious but she really amazed me and she just smoothly fit in. The girls are all so lovely, welcoming and a delight to have looking after my daughter! I walk away knowing she’s well looked after and enjoying herself. Thank you so much.
