My son has been at this setting since march 2025 and he has been absolutely thriving. There's a huge leap in his speech development and his imagination is running wild. I go to pick him up and he tried to run back in and carry on playing he loves it that much.

My son has excelled since starting Tops, he has attended since the age of 10 months and was allocated a key worker who built a fantastic relationship with him. Every day I pick him up he seems to of learned something new and I never have to worry about him. The staff are friendly and you know your child is in good hands. Thanks for the care and I know my son would say thank you if you could!

A brilliant little nursery making great steps towards offering a more sustainable childcare option for children. We been impressed with how they have communicated information out to us, and taken our specific feedback on board whilst also answering many many questions we had at the start of sending our daughter. Looking forward to sending number 2 there next year Thank you Tops, our daughter is so happy to go every day!

My daughter goes to this nursery and has been since 9 months old. The nursery always provides good, clear and precise handover information and are always happy to greet your child in a morning. Whenever my daughter has been unwell or hurt herself, they have always called and been very helpful with their information given. My daughter since going there has learnt so much and has become so much more confident. They do flexi hours which really suits children who don't need to be in childcare Monday - Friday with set hours. The meals the nursery provides are always fresh and they always have a variety of meals. My daughter is always clean and happy when leaving nursery and to go to nursery in a morning which for a parent is most important. The nursery is quite expensive but where it is a good nursery, the funds are irrelevant for us as a family if it means our child is happy and well looked after. Brilliant nursery overall.

Our son attended Tops Newport from 2019 - 2023 and we all loved it. Unfortunately our experience with our daughter was very different. We made several complaints about the standard of care our daughter received and ultimately we decided to remove her from the setting. Staff turnover is very high and our daughter was distressed every time she went in.

The staff are wonderful and provide a fantastic, caring, fun nursery for the children. They take them out on trips, prepare exciting activities for them to do and just ensure it’s a place that the children love to be. All staff know all the children’s names and go the extra mile to make them feel special. I have had children at this nursery for the last six years and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The staff are amazing at the nursery. My son absolutely loves coming in each day and some days don't even want to come home with me (I'm not offended). The thought and preparation they put into activities and learning is great and I love how they incorporate the children's ideas and likes. The support I have received has been amazing and I can't thank the nursery enough for everything they do and all the help I have received with my child. He has been there since he was 6 months old and is now 4. The food variety is great, my son is great with food because of it. His favourite day is when he has Forest School.

We love Tops Nursery, and my daughter has absolutely loved it since she started in one of the smaller rooms, I was a little apprehensive due to her health needs, but the staff have been amazing and great at communicating with me. The transfer to another room was smooth with no hiccups and my daughter has been nothing but happy and thoroughly enjoys coming into the nursery, the added bonus of forest school has been amazing. The activities and toys on offer keep her entertained and busy all day and she comes home chatting about her day. The food they offer is brilliant and such a wide range! Would 100% recommend this nursery.

My son is in preschool and I couldn't be happier with how well he has settled in. His key person has really taken the time to get to know him which has made it so much easier dropping him off. He is quite a fussy eater so I was worried about how he would do with meals but he has surprised me and is trying different foods. He absolutely loves being outside so they go out in all weathers is amazing. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough! Thank you Tops Newport!

The staff at Tops are very kind and knowledgeable. Staff take time to care for your child and always put the needs of your child first. The setting is bright and welcoming, the care is delivered in a way that encourages your child to build independence. I would recommend Tops Days Nurseries to friends and family. Communication with management and administration staff is good, all queries are answered in a timely manner. Emails are sent to keep parents informed of changes or upcoming events. The nursery use an online system to log the care your child has received that day and what and how much they have eaten. The online system is also used to share achievements and activities with parents, it's lovely to receive a photo of my child during the day, enjoying themselves, this gives me reassurance while I'm at work that my child is safe and happy.

I don't have enough stars to give them. Tops Day Nurseries is the best choice I ever made for my little girl! She attends nursery three days per week and when she is not attending she cries because she wants to go to school she says. When I come to pick her up she gets grumpy because she wants to stay more. She loves being there. Thank you so so much for all the hard work all the staff are doing and to the parents who don't know if to bring their kids to Tops Day Nurseries all I can say is: bringing on, you're not going to regret it!

A lovely setting with friendly, approachable staff. I have every confidence that my child is being treated well and that nursery is enhancing his learning. Forest school sessions are an added bonus to the curriculum.

I just can't fault them. No matter what happens I've never felt safer and my toddler is never happier. She actually cried because she couldn't go to nursery when she was unwell. She loves all the staff and always wants to tell me about the new and interesting things that she's done that day. From first steps to first words, they have been there to encourage and care for her. All through the pandemic when I was working long hours, they made me feel safe and happy and not like a rubbish parent, which as a single mum who sometimes does feel a bit rubbish means a whole lot. They've helped me with everything, even potty training, which I just had no clue about, they were able to support both of us. I love Tops Newport Nursery, they simply are the best!

My child has attended Tops Newport Nursery since October 2020. I’ve never seen him so happy to get up and go to nursery in the mornings and is always so happy when he comes home. The staff are amazing. They always go above and beyond for my little boy and everyone else. Thank you Tops.

My little girl loves nursery. Their rooms are well thought out and she is always doing fun activities. They take the time to read books with her and grow her confidence. The food is amazing and we feel listened to and supported.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to the nursery every day! All the staff members we've come across are amazing and make sure our daughter is cared for to a high standard every day. We wouldn't dream of sending her anywhere else.

My daughter has attended Tops since September 2020. There isn't a single negative thing that I can report and would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare. We chose Tops because my nephew thrived there but also because of their flexible booking system. If I had known just how amazing they would be for my daughter then I would have chosen them regardless of those things. Nothing is ever too much trouble and every member of staff that we have come across has been caring and nurturing. My daughter has a speech delay and from the very first discussion around this, the SENCO and my daughter's key workers have put in place everything possible to support her and make sure that she (and us as parents) are supported. We are very lucky that Tops is our childcare setting and look forward to the next 2 years our daughter gets to spend there. Thank you for everything!

My daughter has only been going to Tops Nursery for a couple of weeks but I have been extremely happy with the level of care and service provided so far. I was really anxious in leaving her at first, as she’s only 9 months old, but the staff have been really friendly and reassuring. The updates on the app have really helped put my mind at ease. Even though my daughter cannot yet talk, I know she enjoys nursery as she is always happy when welcomed by the usual friendly faces and also comes home very happy after every session. The organisation of resources is also a bonus as it means I don’t have to prepare her with a bag of baby bits and food every day she attends. I feel confident that she’s in very good hands and I would highly recommend Tops to other parents.

Such a lovely nursery! We are so happy we listened to all the positive reviews and enrolled our daughter this September. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and there are lots of activities indoor and outdoor for the little ones to do which I hear all about at the end of the day! Our daughter suffers with food allergies and Tops have been amazing with accommodating her needs, we feel she is very safe with them which is top on the list on our priorities. She has a wonderful time while also learning new skills, which we love being sent photos of while she's there. Although she has only been attending a short time I know we have made the right choice and we're excited for her to progress with Tops over the next couple of years.

My child always looks forward to going to nursery. He looks forward to meeting his friends and staff and he speaks fondly of the staff, in particular. I have not had any unpleasant experience with the nursery since he joined over 2 years ago
