My son has now been attending Toad Hall for nearly 3 years. He has been in every room and I am extremely impressed with the whole nursery. All of the staff are welcoming and always have smiles on their faces. If there are any issues, these get dealt with in a professional and timely manner. I 110% trust
the nursery to look after my most precious thing. And once I drop him off, I do not worry as I know that he is with his second family. Well done to all the staff (your hard work is appreciated) for providing such a fantastic safe and fun place for children to learn and grow!

Passionate and well-trained staff. Great outdoor play area and the learning resources. Environment is clean and safe. Food standard is outstanding and is freshly cooked.


Both my kids started when they were a year old and absolutely loved their time at the nursery. They were provided great support

settling in and during transition from one room to the other.
They have developed good interpersonal skills and are very independent.

My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 1 year old. She has enjoyed her time here. All the staff have made her welcome and really made her feel comfortable.
As a family, we were going through an emotional time for a few months and the staff at Toad Hall Watford were nothing but accommodating.
Her graduation ceremony recently was so much fun, she did not want to leave. She will definitely miss her time at the nursery as well as the staff at Toad Hall.

Today my son had his graduation. Toad Hall Preschool made his day very special. They had great activities and they provided special foods for him as he has food intolerances. My son had plenty of fun today! We were the last who left! Thank you so much!

I have two daughters at Toad Hall. They both love going to nursery and in my interactions with the staff, you can see the genuine care and support they have for the children. I like the fact there is plenty of outdoor space for the children to play in as well as extracurricular activities such as football
and Spanish that are put on for the children.
I like the fact I can see pictures and video updates via the app as well as efforts by the nursery to create a community atmosphere by organising parent BBQs and picnics outside nursery hours.
Finally, I appreciated the fact the nursery went out of the way to accommodate my youngest daughter who had developmental delays in both her learning and development and nutrition.

My two children started at Toad Hall Watford in August 2018 in Butterflies and Pre-School room.
Any concerns over transitioning from a previous nursery due to changing jobs were soon put aside and my children have been happy and engaged. The staff are caring and knowledgeable and strike a nice balance
between play and structured learning which is benchmarked and relayed to parents with photos, through an online portal. The facilities and extra activities for older children, such as football and forest school, are excellent and the management team are responsive.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toad Hall Watford.

Both my kids have been to Toadhall. My younger one absolutely loves it there. He looks forward to going there and is very happy when I pick him up. Staff are all brilliant. I am so very pleased with Toadhall. Highly recommend it.

What a lovely Nursery for my Son to attend 4 days a week. The staff are friendly, kind, patient and loving towards every child in their care.
I am kept up to date with my son's progress, daily activities via chats when I collect him, his book which contains notes of how each day went and also photos
of him playing, painting etc via email.
I feel assured that he is being looked after to the highest standard, monitored closely and encouraged to progress where needed.

My son has been going to Toad Hall for 6 months. They made his move from his previous nursery really easy and helped him to settle in very quickly.


The staff welcomed him straight away and all of the girls in the Badgers room are great with him.

We have always loved Toad Hall and both of our girls have enjoyed here. The staff are so friendly and patient with all the children, it gives you a real confidence in leaving the kids to be looked after in the best possible hands. I wanted to say thank you to all Toad Hall staff for their support at such a difficult time, Staff has been very kind and helpful. My daughter has progressed well at the nursery and has bonded well with the teachers. I was a little hesitant at first as my daughter can be very quiet and shy but she has
made friends well at the nursery and comes home very happy telling me all the great activities she has done for the day.

I honestly can't praise this nursery enough! My daughter has been attending Toad Hall in Watford since June this year and we just love it.
The staff are friendly, approachable and informative but most of all they are caring. Every time I pick my daughter up she looks so happy, playing with the staff
and socialising with the other children. The whole transition into nursery life was made so easy for the both of us and for that I can't thank the nursery enough.
The nursery itself is beautiful and my daughter seems to love the outside area the most. I love hearing about all the lovely things she's done each day and the choice of food that is on offer means she's constantly trying new things. A very happy Mummy and Daughter.

Toad Hall Nursery Watford is an excellent nursery. My daughter started there at 10.5 months old until she attended school. My son has been there for over 18 months and as always, all the staff are friendly and helpful.


The nursery makes all the activities fun for the children of all ages in the

classrooms. An added bonus is that the whole nursery playground has had a full refurb and it looks amazing!


If you ever need to call or speak to someone in the office, you are always given time and attention.

My son has attended Toad Hall since he was 13 months old and he is now 2.5 years old, he loves nursery, always talking about the staff and the children he has played with, he is always smiling when I pick him up and can't stop telling me what he has been doing or playing with.

My son has been attending Toad Hall for nearly 18 months and has been very happy there. The staff are all lovely and caring and the little things such as every staff member greeting my son every morning as we make our way to his room shows what a friendly place it is. The garden has recently been revamped
and I'm sorry that my son will be leaving to go to school as he didn't get much opportunity to play in the new garden as it looks fabulous. We will miss Toad Hall!

My name is Sam Penn and I have been working in childcare since 2007 I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and Education Qualification. I am very passionate about childcare and my role. Every day is different and brings new challenges and experiences for myself and the children in my care.
