Toad Hall Nursery Watford

We have had the best experience with Toad Hall. My daughter has settled in so well, thanks to the staff. They have been very attentive to her needs also in working together with us as a team for her development. They have received any and all feedback and worked towards them. She absolutely loves it here.

The nursery was fantastic from the very start. We have a child with additonal medical needs and the team have been super supportive. They've had training with the hospital, amended processes and dealt amazingly with all the extra medication. We also a child without extra needs and the support has been amazing so its not because of any special treatment!

I have 2 boys in this setting. 3.5 years and 13 months and the entire team is so nurturing and treat the kids like their own would. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Both children very happy at Toad Hall. Very well organised. I feel my children are safe and cared for. They come home always having had a great day! Confidence has increased immensely and skills as expected.

I am happy with how the staff care for my child. He is very happy to go in every time. His development is much quicker and he picked up good habits at the nursery. He became a social little person, happy to engage with other children.

Our daughter has absolutely thrived at Toad Hall Nursery. We love the regular use of outdoor play and cannot believe how much our daughter has developed since she started attending. She is so supported by the members of staff at the nursery and they clearly have her best interests at heart. Her “room” has great facilities and a little area of soft play too which she has great fun playing on with the other children.

My daughter started in Feb when she was around 19 months! She had an emotional start as she was really attached to me - having stayed with me at home full-time since she was born. The girls have been so amazing with her, she's slowly but surely building such a good relationship with them all. Every time I see them they are so kind, caring and attentive and it just reassures me that she is getting the best possible start to her little schooling life! She has improved her eating habits massively, and rarely refuses foods anymore and tries foods that she usually refuses at home. She is always up to new activities including messy play/garden play - it's so lovely to see her do activities that make her happy at home with family! Excellent nursery! My daughter loves it there. She has been going since she was 1 and is now almost 3. The staff really make an effort with her and her development and I’ve always felt like they were invested in her wellbeing. She has had times where she has been clingy when dropping off and they do their best to distract her and keep her happy. Couldn’t really ask for more!

Both of our kids (3 and 1) attend Toad Hall Watford and we've had a very good experience.

Our eldest in particular has grown some great bonds with the staff and he also has a lovely group of friends. My wife and I have also made several friends amongst the children's parents.

Communication is mostly via email, but it's fairly easy to keep up to date on events and activities.

Lovely nursery with very caring and supportive staff. Our son enjoys the activities at the nursery whilst learning about boundaries and the early years curriculum. Parents' evenings have been informative and useful. Staff engage well with the parents/carers.

My son has been attending Toad Hall Watford since June 2021 when he was 15 months old, to now (he's nearly 3 and a half). This has been an amazing nursery where he has been really happy, grown a lot, learned a lot, and made friends (we have too). The staff are very caring and very cheerful, but also committed to teaching kids how to be good to each other. My son has developed incredible bonds with his key workers and carers. I was really anxious about potty training but they were really supportive about that, and he's a much less fussy eater at nursery than at home! The organisation is really well run, communications are very good. The space is really thoughtfully laid out, with lots of running-around space in the big garden and activity areas in the rooms. You can tell that the kids are happy, and there are lots of very experienced and longstanding staff around which is a sign of a well-run place. My son has also learned a lot there. Would recommend to anyone!

My son has attended for over a year and has always received excellent care and attention from the staff and has come out of this shell massively! Great communication from the staff.

My daughter has attended for many years. Toad Hall have always been amazing with her and has helped mould a kind, caring, and outgoing child with their love and support. Eternally grateful for every single staff member here!

My son has improved so much in this nursery and the staff are so good and caring. They make sure my son's needs are met. He is so happy here and loves it. So glad he came to this nursery but he is going to reception now so will be leaving but wished he stayed here as it is best nursery that keeps you updated and always listening to you.

Obviously she had a favourite person, thank you for all the love you give to the children. Thank you to one member of staff in particular for flexibility, for always being there for us. My son has been at the nursery since September 2021. From when he had the first accommodation said he was very happy and he enjoyed being at the nursery. In the beginning, we as parents were a little bit anxious but everything started very well and my son found the time he spent at the nursery precious and excellent. We are happy that he spent the last two years in your nursery. Thank you for everything.

The nursery has been a wonderful, calm and very helpful part of our lives for so long, we'll definitely miss it when it is finally time to move on!

My little one has been going to the Toad Hall Nursery, Watford for over a year now and the moment she walks in, you can tell how comfortable and at home she feels. The staff here are amazing and I say that not just based on my personal experience with my own child, but also because I have seen the staff comforting and assuring children with love and care. It is so difficult to identify the key member associated with a child because each child is comfortable with every individual staff member of the room - which is amazing! The children are always happy and chirpy at the nursery and I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such great care of my little one.

I love the nursery setting at Toad Hall Watfird. The menu is outstanding, and thanks to the chef, I am at ease knowing my child has eaten a well-balanced diet. I am very happy with the extra activities, which have been well throughout to introduce the children to sports, languages and much more
