My child is safe, loved, and cared for and she's always asking to go, even on a weekend! I cannot thank Bumpkins enough! I highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter has been going to Bumpkins for almost two years and is now 4. We could not have wished for a better start for her - the staff are caring, sensible, and extremely thoughtful about the children's activities; they have worked on numbers and letters with the children and it really feels like there is a focus on their education throughout. The updates via the app and the progress reports are so helpful. A lovely lovely nursery and what a find!

My son has had a lovely time on visit and a great few days in the room. There are lots of toys to play with that we don’t have at home which is great. All the staff are very welcoming and understanding as this is our first child.

Bumpkins were so helpful when we urgently needed a nursery after our previous setting closed suddenly and we needed childcare. Staff were understanding and the process of visiting and applying for a place was very easy and efficient. Our child has settled in so well and we are pleased she is in such a good setting with lots of fun activities and learning. We are very happy.

My son has some gross motor delays and the staff at Bumpkins go above and beyond, not only to enhance his day-to-day inclusion in activities but also to further develop his movement and independence. The staff submit frequent updates and photos on the app, showing me just what my son has been up to. The nursery is always very clean, and secure and staff go to great lengths to tell me about my son's day when I pick him up. The food provided is also of a high standard. As a new mum, I was hesitant about leaving my son in the care of others (despite having run playschemes myself in the past), but I have no concerns about leaving him at Bumpkins and he's always smiling when I collect him.

My little girl has been attending Bumpkins since she was 8 months old and I cannot fault them in any way. She is currently 18 months and her speech and understanding have come on so much! She walks in happily each morning and goes for a cuddle with each staff member. As soon as we get into the car she calls each staff member's name asking to find them. The love and care they have for my little girl is always above and beyond, it’s like handing her over to extended family knowing that she’s well looked after for the day. The weekly updates with pictures help us to see what she has done each day and we enjoy sharing these with family. She loves Bumpkins so much and we can’t wait to see her develop further!

Our two boys (18 months and 3 years) attend Bumpkins and we couldn’t be happier sending them there. The staff are wonderful: professional and knowledgeable but equally attentive and caring. Our eldest is so much happier here than at his previous nursery; so much so that we have pulled him out of his previous nursery now that we have something to compare it to. He looks forward to Bumpkins and always skips in, after being greeted so warmly by his class workers. Meals are healthy and varied and we are kept regularly updated throughout the day as to what the boys are up to. We cannot recommend Bumpkins enough.

I started my son at Bumpkins Nursery when he was just 5 months old. I had many fears about this but the team at Bumpkins were wonderful. They kept in constant contact through their app with photos, videos and updates. I would ring them to check in as well and they were always very patient and accommodating. Since then my child has learnt to walk, talk and eat whilst at this nursery. From baby led weaning support direct from their in house chef to behavioural support from his key workers we have been very lucky to feel supported throughout. My son loves the outdoors so to be able to play in the garden daily and go and feed the chickens is amazing. Highly recommend this nursery from the staff to the communication to the food and the care areas itself.

My child started Bumpkins just over a year ago and now has started transitioning to their preschool site. The management as well as the staff have been nothing but reassuring and supportive, they have been there the whole time to answer any worries or questions I have had. The setting has a wonderful kitchen team that offers a variety of food cooked from scratch that my child absolutely loves. The range of activities they have and the support of her key worker gives her lots of new opportunities and the messages I get on her learning journey and also the way she talks about it shows just truly how amazing they are.

My child has been attending Bumpkins nursery since she was 8 months old and she has recently transitioned to preschool. My child is extremely happy at nursery, she runs straight in the morning hardly looking back. She’s greeted by a familiar face every day who makes her feel safe. Her use of language and communication is good and always extended by the trained staff and the activities she is provided on a day-to-day basis. She comes home telling us of everything she’s done which includes anything from being a hairdresser to making dinosaur houses with boxes, playing outside on the bikes or going on a nature walk to collect sticks. The learning opportunities are endless. I cannot speak higher of the various key workers she’s had over the last few years, their knowledge of my child was and continues to be amazing showing strong relationships built. The staff communicate well, giving us a detailed handover of her day, and I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they provide.

All the staff are so welcoming and caring. It’s so nice going to work knowing I don’t have to worry about my boys as they always have a great time. I always enjoy seeing what they get up too with updates on the app! Sending a child to nursery isn’t the cheapest form of childcare but Bumpkins is worth every penny. Both our children attended Bumpkins Nursery from the age of one until they started school. We are hugely impressed with the way that staff and management handled various changes over the past five years and of course how they coped during the pandemic. A level of familiarity and consistency has been maintained, helping our children to feel valued, safe and happy during their time here. I cannot speak highly enough of their various key workers who maintained excellent communication with us and genuinely seemed to love their jobs, developing strong and trusting relationships with both of our children. The food and facilities are excellent, with a wide range of activities provided for the children. We were also great fans of nature rangers during the pre-school years. Our children were supported through their ever-changing emotional and physical development stages and their development and preparation for starting school is in no small way a result of their time at Bumpkins Nursey. Thank you all.

Due to my job, we've had to move through various different nurseries and knowing the importance of early years care and education, I have always strived to put my son with the best providers. I was pleasantly taken aback with Bumpkins from the start, from the intimate communication between the nursery and parents, to the genuine loving dedication to my son's care. The gentleness and love received from the staff, is reflected in my son's happiness and he has settled so quickly, eager to tell me about his activities and keen to return the next day. The ranger outdoor area is a great concept, and the children get the exercise and fresh air they need and I feel content my son is safe, developing, and loved. Thank you to all at Bumpkins for making my life easier, by knowing my child is receiving the best, in my absence. Your nursery truly cares and it shows.

We had our son at the nursery for three years, moving through almost all the age groups and finished the final school transition year. At every stage, he enjoyed the nursery days thoroughly, made good friendships and learnt plenty of new skills with new experiences. In particular, their large outdoor space for nature rangers was very popular and well enjoyed! The nursery had very good communication with parents via an app, with daily updates and records of new learning development. Specifically, the final year with their support for transition to school was hugely beneficial. We have the benefit of being able to compare this experience with other nurseries his elder sisters attended and we can wholeheartedly say, Bumpkins, is a better experience for the child, plus far closer communication with parents.

Bumpkins are brilliant! Both our girls went there over a period of 6 years - with the youngest having just 'graduated' from preschool. It's the end of an era for our family and we're indebted to the staff there for all the love, care and attention they showed the girls during that time - especially during the pandemic. Their excellent care, range of themed activities and homecooked meals meant we never worried about the girls while we were at work - they skipped in most days with barely a backward glance! Both leave, as happy, confident and sociable little girls, who are ready to make the next move to big school. Bumpkins has been such a big part of our lives for so long. We'll always remember it with huge affection and gratitude.

Amazing, helped my daughter settle in so well, worked through her behaviours linked to anxieties. The first time I saw her hug one of the ladies in dragonflies I knew we had made the right choice and she felt safe, this made us as a family feel safe in the knowledge that she was happy. They also managed her multiple allergies and complex diet without any huge issues. I can’t thank Bumpkins Nursery enough.

Our daughter had a wonderful time during her 18 months at Bumpkins Nursery. She looked forward to going to school and the staff there were friendly, supportive and knew our daughter really well. Meals were always delicious and nature rangers was a highlight for my daughter every week. Thank you to everyone for making her time there so special.

Our daughters are so happy at Bumpkins Nursery and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. The staff are supportive, knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Communication is incredibly good and you always feel up-to-date on your child’s activities throughout the day. The range of themes covered is extensive and the activities are always creative. Whether the girls are crafting fossils and nests out of clay, building robots or dinosaurs, getting messy in the foam or constructing dens at Nature Rangers, they always come home happy and with lots to say about their day. For the younger children, there are early opportunities to try baking and painting, while for the older ones the preparation for school is very good – with ‘homework’ books, practice trying on uniforms and understanding the shape of a school day. The variety of food on offer is excellent and they cater well for different dietary requirements.
