Our daughter has been coming here since she was 11 months old, and watching her relationships develop with the wonderful staff and how much they support her learning and development has been amazing. The staff genuinely care about each child, and she absolutely loves coming here.

Bumpkins has been fab for our daughter. We feel very supported in her settling and she loves all the many varied activities. Each week the children have lots of new experiences which we love hearing about. Staff are diligent, caring and kind.

My child always seems to have had a great day and does a variety of activities. I would like more updates on the app regarding photos and progress (EYFS). But every day the range of activities and end-of-day report is positive and full of activities. The range of food available is excellent.

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery! She asks for her key worker all the time and has made some lovely little friends. It's been amazing to see how much she's learning - her speech is really coming along, and she's turning into such a confident, happy little girl. We couldn't be happier

My son has attended this nursery since January 2023 and has had a wonderful experience! The nursery is very child-focused, with supportive settling-in sessions in both the baby and toddler rooms. Staff are consistently professional and caring, and my son has formed strong, secure bonds with staff members.
Their enthusiasm and attentiveness has made a huge difference in his confidence and happiness.
Meals are varied and nutritionally balanced, with great communication about what he eats and enjoys.
Learning activities are engaging and help build language and emotional awareness. My son's development, especially in the over-2s room, has been rapid. I'm very grateful to the room leader for the stimulating and nurturing environment.
I love being able to enter the room at drop-off and pick-up and seeing my son playing happily in the garden with friends. The nursery is always spotless and secure, which gives me great peace of mind.
I would thoroughly recommend Bumpkins.

My son has attended this nursery since August 2023 and we have had a really positive experience.
It was clear from the outset that Bumpkins are completely child-focused with the opportunity to have several settling-in sessions for my baby. From then communication has been great, with staff who are
kind and warm and know my son really well. This is all staff - from management to housekeeping and chefs. Electronic updates have varied slightly depending on who his keyworker has been, but anything important is always communicated straight away.
The nursery is always spotless and well-resourced.
I really like that you can go into the room to drop off and collect children - it means you can see what it's actually like and how the children are.
There seems to be a range of activities on offer each day, as well as staples like role play areas, vehicles and things to climb on.
Most importantly my little boy is happy there!

My daughter started nursery at the end of February and is having a fabulous time. The team are wonderful and thanks to their care and support, she’s settled very quickly.
My daughter isn’t the best sleeper but miraculously, the team manage to get her to nap most days, which is very impressive.
The
communication to parents is great - I’m fully informed of her daily activities as well as what she’s eaten etc., the pictures at the end of the week are a lovely round-up and show how content she is.
She comes back from nursery full of joy and conversation. She is clearly engaged but not over-stimulated.

My daughter is currently 3 and a half years old at preschool and has attended Bumpkins since she was 8 months old. Throughout her time there, she’s been cared for at such a high standard and the staff I truly believe love her as much as we do. They always welcome her with a huge smile and hug. The resources
are lovely and the activities provided are fun, exciting, and based on interests, she loves telling us what she’s done and we can see how much she’s learning, she especially loves nature rangers! The meals provided are nutritional and fresh with a great menu. The staff within the nursery, as well as loving my little girl provide detailed feedback, and photos of what she’s getting up to and also communicate very well. If they are ever concerned about her they give us a call to check, which I appreciate as they prioritize her wellbeing.
My child is safe, loved, and cared for and she's always asking to go, even on a weekend! I cannot thank Bumpkins enough! I highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter has been going to Bumpkins for almost two years and is now 4. We could not have wished for a better start for her - the staff are caring, sensible, and extremely thoughtful about the children's activities; they have worked on numbers and letters with the children and it really feels like
there is a focus on their education throughout. The updates via the app and the progress reports are so helpful. A lovely lovely nursery and what a find!

My son has had a lovely time on visit and a great few days in the room. There are lots of toys to play with that we don’t have at home which is great. All the staff are very welcoming and understanding as this is our first child.

My daughter has been going to Bumpkins Day Nursery since she was 6 months old. She is now 2 years old. She has been in the baby room/under 2s unit and now in the Butterfly room. The care and support they provide for the children as well as myself as a parent is outstanding. Cannot recommend Bumpkins
Day Nursery enough!

Bumpkins were so helpful when we urgently needed a nursery after our previous setting closed suddenly and we needed childcare. Staff were understanding and the process of visiting and applying for a place was very easy and efficient. Our child has settled in so well and we are pleased she is in such

My son has some gross motor delays and the staff at Bumpkins go above and beyond, not only to enhance his day-to-day inclusion in activities but also to further develop his movement and independence. The staff submit frequent updates and photos on the app, showing me just what my son has been up to.
The nursery is always very clean, and secure and staff go to great lengths to tell me about my son's day when I pick him up. The food provided is also of a high standard. As a new mum, I was hesitant about leaving my son in the care of others (despite having run playschemes myself in the past), but I have no concerns about leaving him at Bumpkins and he's always smiling when I collect him.

My little girl has been attending Bumpkins since she was 8 months old and I cannot fault them in any way. She is currently 18 months and her speech and understanding have come on so much! She walks in happily each morning and goes for a cuddle with each staff member. As soon as we get into the car she
calls each staff member's name asking to find them. The love and care they have for my little girl is always above and beyond, it’s like handing her over to extended family knowing that she’s well looked after for the day. The weekly updates with pictures help us to see what she has done each day and we enjoy sharing these with family. She loves Bumpkins so much and we can’t wait to see her develop further!

Our two boys (18 months and 3 years) attend Bumpkins and we couldn’t be happier sending them there. The staff are wonderful: professional and knowledgeable but equally attentive and caring. Our eldest is so much happier here than at his previous nursery; so much so that we have pulled him out of his
previous nursery now that we have something to compare it to. He looks forward to Bumpkins and always skips in, after being greeted so warmly by his class workers. Meals are healthy and varied and we are kept regularly updated throughout the day as to what the boys are up to. We cannot recommend Bumpkins enough.

I started my son at Bumpkins Nursery when he was just 5 months old. I had many fears about this but the team at Bumpkins were wonderful. They kept in constant contact through their app with photos, videos and updates. I would ring them to check in as well and they were always very patient and accommodating.
Since then my child has learnt to walk, talk and eat whilst at this nursery. From baby led weaning support direct from their in house chef to behavioural support from his key workers we have been very lucky to feel supported throughout. My son loves the outdoors so to be able to play in the garden daily and go and feed the chickens is amazing. Highly recommend this nursery from the staff to the communication to the food and the care areas itself.

My child started Bumpkins just over a year ago and now has started transitioning to their preschool site. The management as well as the staff have been nothing but reassuring and supportive, they have been there the whole time to answer any worries or questions I have had. The setting has a wonderful
kitchen team that offers a variety of food cooked from scratch that my child absolutely loves. The range of activities they have and the support of her key worker gives her lots of new opportunities and the messages I get on her learning journey and also the way she talks about it shows just truly how amazing they are.

My child has been attending Bumpkins nursery since she was 8 months old and she has recently transitioned to preschool. My child is extremely happy at nursery, she runs straight in the morning hardly looking back. She’s greeted by a familiar face every day who makes her feel safe. Her use of language
and communication is good and always extended by the trained staff and the activities she is provided on a day-to-day basis. She comes home telling us of everything she’s done which includes anything from being a hairdresser to making dinosaur houses with boxes, playing outside on the bikes or going on a nature walk to collect sticks. The learning opportunities are endless. I cannot speak higher of the various key workers she’s had over the last few years, their knowledge of my child was and continues to be amazing showing strong relationships built. The staff communicate well, giving us a detailed handover of her day, and I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they provide.
