Co-op Childcare Southampton

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My son has been going here since he was almost a year old and is now four, going to school this September. He's grown in confidence over the last few years. He's also developed his skills and personality. The team know my son well and have taken the time to get to know us as a family for a true holistic approach to his needs. As a single mum working full time it's such a blessing knowing he's in an environment where is is comfortable, cared for, happy and thriving. Everything is perfect from the meals provided to the facilities. But the main asset to this nursery is the people working there. The practitioners who have worked with him over the last few years along with the management team are all exemplary. I never worry about him being here, which is a huge thing for me as I am a natural worrier!! I feel like he's had the best possible start in life from attending this nursery. I will be so sad when he leaves to go to school.

I've had 3 children attend the nursery after we had to move to the area after a challenging life event . My last child is still attending the nursery . The staff at the nursery are the best I've ever seen it feels as though they really care about the families of the children they have their . Often offering an extra arm of non judgemental support . The management in the nursery are above expectations they are supportive caring and considerate and always friendly . My children thrive there and the staff check in and make a real effort to know the children . I have always felt I can be open with the staff when I've had anything challenging come up and they make time to perk you up and remind you of positives I'll be sad when my daughter leaves but I know they have given her the best start and the children have had a wonderful , caring experience . I can't fault them and the key staff are always smiling

I have two children at the nursery. They are very different but the staff know them so well as individuals so get the best out of them. My older child has needed a lot of support with confidence and change but all the staff directly involved with her have been so patient and so caring. Always reassuring me too. Whilst my younger one has the loveliest bond with her key worker already and just shines happiness to be going there. They update each day on the app with food/nappies/sleep then a weekly round up of the activities. Whilst producing a personalised development plan each month. I couldn't recommend them more.

My son started in November 2025 and settled in straight away! He loves coming here and seems to really enjoy the food. It's so nice in the mornings to have a drop off where he is happy to go to the workers. His key worker is lovely and all of the staff in his room seem to love working with the children. The baby room has loads of toys and equipment and they frequently get to play in the garden. I would 100% recommend this nursery. The manager is also really friendly, I was worried about putting my son in nursery as I used childminders for my oldest daughter but would definitely say this is a good nursery and my son is happy here.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Dona and Olivia for being absolutely amazing since my son started nursery in September. They've made him feel so welcome and settled so quickly, which means the world to me. They're always so kind, caring and patient, and I really appreciate how they always take the time to reply to my messages and let me know how he's doing throughout the day. It's such a relief knowing he's in such loving hands - you can really tell how much they care about the children. Thank you both for everything you do!

Highly recommended!Staff are excellent and provide high quality care. When we started putting our son in Child Co-op at first we find it hard to leave him there. But the security and assurance of our child development now shows in the long run. He enjoys and learn alot from his teachers and was taken cared. Always happy to bring home the arts and paper writing he accomplishes everyday. Thank you so much for every hard work teachers, admin and all staff had put in together to continue caring for our little precious children. We are very grateful indeed. GOD bless everyone.

This nursery has been a godsend as it allowed me to return and continue to work happily as I knew my children were being looked after well. They go above and beyond to introduce new things to the children and keep them engaged. The practitioners are kind and care about the children and the you can tell that management is focused on continual improvement. Thank you Co-operative Southampton!

We couldn't recommend this nursery enough and our youngest daughter will be starting shortly.

My daughter enjoys coming here on a daily basis. The staff are all welcoming and accommodating. The meals they provide are 10/10 my daughter eats her portion and asks for seconds! Her favourite part of the nursery is the garden she gets to go out and play in different types of weather.

Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old and it has been excellent since day one. The staff are attentive, friendly and build such great relationships with the children. They are caring and always help whenever needed i.e. naps, toilet training. I know the nursery will always support with any problem we speak to them about and they always encourage the best from my daughter.

My daughter has recently started and I am so happy with how they have welcomed us. Very friendly staff, very polite. I always walk away knowing my daughter is in safe hands. When I collect my daughter I love that they give me a chat about the things she got up to in the day. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Our son is at nursery since summer last year and he loves going to the nursery. He loves the carers, he loves to play with other kids, all the activities. Everyone is friendly, nice and helpful when you need.

My daughter has been attending the nursery and pre-school for about 3 years. She loves going and always has something to tell us about her 'fab day!'. The key worker is amazing and my daughter has grown in confidence and skills. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
