Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School

Had to remove one of my children from this nursery because he would not drink water and they would not allow the drink I sent in, despite allowing other children to have alternative drinks when they refuse water. For my other child, staff repeatedly empty his filtered bottled water and replace it with tap water, despite me clearly stating I do not consent to this. I even supplied bottled water, but it was poured away because it contained ice, as I wanted my child to have a cold drink.

I raised concerns about the safety checks and maintenance records for the nursery's water supply and asked to see evidence that the water is regularly checked and safe. Instead of addressing my concerns, I felt dismissed and was later accused of threatening behaviour simply for asking questions. Communication has been poor, concerns have been ignored, and policies appear to be applied inconsistently. My experience has left me with little confidence that parents' wishes and concerns are taken seriously.

My daughter love it here and we feel safe leaving her here, she has autism and we were nervous for her to be at nursery, the sen staff are so helpful and my daughter loves her keyworker and she been in two different rooms and we were happy

She is learning new things everyday, she is eating well and I can see a progress in her overall development.

The nursery is doing a great job of keeping parents informed, with regular updates and clear communication about daily activities and progress. It's reassuring to know my child is in such a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The environment is clean, safe, and thoughtfully set up with a variety of engaging activities that encourage learning through play. I've noticed a real improvement in my child's social skills, confidence, and communication since starting here.

Overall, I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and professional setting for their child.

I'm truly grateful for the journey my child has had at the nursery and the milestones they have achieved. When my child first started, they struggled with engagement, but over time they have become more vocal, expressive, and confident. Watching this growth has meant so much to me.

From the moment I drop my child off to when I pick them up, the experience has always been positive. What makes it even more special is hearing about their day on the drive home who they played with, what they ate, and the activities they enjoyed like making cards or flowers. It shows how happy and comfortable they feel.

The staff are amazing, each bringing their own unique strengths, yet working together to support every child's development. I always feel informed and involved, and I truly appreciate the nursery's strong focus on diversity and inclusion. Akhter Nursery is truly a second home for my child.

This nursery is amazing. The staff are very kind, caring and always helpful. My son is very happy there and enjoys going every day. As a parent, it gives me peace of mind knowing he is safe, well looked after and learning new things. The nursery is clean, friendly and the staff communicate very well with parents. I'm very happy with the nursery and all the staff. They were very supportive during my son's settling-in period and helped him feel comfortable and confident. Their care, patience, and kindness made a big difference for both my son and our family. I truly appreciate all the support they provided.

All 3 of my children have attended this nursery, my 2 youngest still go here. My youngest struggled to settle in but the staff in badgers have really welcomed her and she is now more than happy at nursery and is so comfortable around the staff! My son is under referral for adhd and the staff in rabbits really do everything they can to help him on his journal and really help with his struggles! I would highly recommend this nursery for anyone's child! Thank you for everything x x

They post regularly to the app so I can see what he's been doing that day which is great to see his progress there!

What a lovely nursery. My sister originally enrolled her son at Akhter, so it seemed like the obvious choice when I had my daughter. However, I couldn't be happier with the care she has received since joining (Sept 2024) to date. She loves going to nursery and is always happy when she is picked up. The food always goes down a treat and the activities the staff do with the children are great. Couldn't fault it.

My two children aged 4 and 2 go to Akhter and they are both very happy in their rooms. All the teachers are very kind and friendly hence why my kids are happy to go every morning. They publish observations often especially my older sons room i get to see what activities he gets to do during the day. My kids always come home happy and want to go back the next day and thats the most important thing.

Most welcoming and friendly staff, who are reassuring especially when a parent has a busy schedule, I know my two kids are safe, in good hands and taken care of without any worries and with trusted and well trained staff. The learning and environment is tailor to every child's needs. my two kids love it, after school club with pick from school has brought so much confidence to my eldest and youngest is talking more. Staff are helpful and listen to parents it's just an amazing place and great atmosphere.

My twins goes to the Akther Learning Centre,this is really nice and good nursery.The staff and the management teams are really friendly and caring.My kids really enjoy going to the nurseries.They love to go to the nursery.

We are very happy with the nursery,the staff is very friendly and look like they really care about all the kids and them needs,my boy is doing much better on speaking and on some activities ,he really enjoining the time at school and sometimes he doesn't want to come home when is time to leave

I am so glad to have choosen this nursery for my daughter. She has settled very well, the staff are so kind and helpful in all matters regarding my little one's wellbeing and milestones. My granddaughter has been going to akhter Early Learning Centre nursery/preschool now for 2 years now and she absolutely loves it also coming home smiling and happy. The stuff are amazing and work extremely hard to get the children where they need to be and ready for school.
