Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

I can't honestly say enough about the nursery, the staff are amazing, they have been very helpful with me and my children. They have always offered help and support for us, I have seen my son extremely improve in learning and his behaviour. I highly recommend this nursery.

I love the nursery very much as does my daughter. The staff are great and very helpful, I can't thank them enough for the job they do with the kids, my daughter improved all the way with her English as it is not her 1st language. I can see how confident she is at speaking full sentences and making conversation.
I am impressed by how fast she picks things up. The environment is really safe and the premises are well maintained. I am satisfied with the way it works, I will really recommend to new parents to visit and see yourself. Thanks for the early education you provide to our kids.

My son has been at the nursery for a couple of years now and loves it!! The staff are lovely, and he will definitely miss them all when he goes to school next year! The only downside, but in all fairness, my child eats like a horse! Ha ha, is would prefer the option of a packed lunch.

Unfortunately, due to the number of allergies in each room, it's safer for us as a large setting to know what's being served each day; our chefs do great dinners /tea.

Both of my daughters attended this nursery, and they really loved it there. I am gutted that we had to say goodbye, as both are in school now. The staff were always welcoming, the food was brilliant and encouraged them to try new things. Both of my daughters became very confident there, and because
they are Bilingual, their English improved in this nursery, so they are not struggling in school now. If I had any problem, they resolved it in no time! Thanks to the Akhter Team for making our time there wonderful and full of unforgettable memories!

My daughter has been in Hedgehogs for the last year and has had a great year. The staff in there are fabulous. My daughter loves the room and doesn't want to leave. The staff are caring and have been a massive support in potty training and helping my child follow her routine while at the nursery. They
have helped in her development and confidence. Fully recommend this toddler room!

Amazing staff and great facilities. This is the second nursery my daughter has been to as we didn't have a great experience with the first. I am so pleased with Akhter and the progress my daughter has made. She has so much one-on-one time, and great activities and fun, of which I am updated with weekly.
I feel very confident and safe leaving my daughter in their care. My daughter cannot wait to go to nursery now and loves all the staff! So happy with how my daughter's vocabulary and confidence have continued to grow while at Akhter.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming; they communicate well at handover, and my daughter has settled really well. She comes out happy and gets all excited when she's going back in for her next session. All the staff in Hedgehogs are lovely and very obviously wonderful with the children. Couldn't
fault the nursery as a whole, and it seems like it's run very well by management.

My daughter started in September and I’ve got nothing but good things to say.
The teachers in her class are absolutely amazing.
The lunches are great and the activities carried out throughout the day are perfect for the little ones.

Nurseries really lovely. My granddaughter is very happy here. This makes my daughter happy knowing she can go to work and her daughter is learning. They have their own key person who takes it in and sits with her if she is unhappy - they learn together.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! By far the worst nursery I have ever been to! My daughter who is 3 years old attended this nursery for 6 days at its most, I had to take her out of the nursery. For every single day my little girl attended was bad feedback. My 3-year-old does not listen and says no a lot? Really.
Like my child is the only 3-year-old who doesn’t listen and says the word no. My daughter's key worker in particular had nothing good to say about my little girl leaving me very uncomfortable in sending her and having no option other than to take her out. My little girl has been to nursery since she was 2 years old at a previous nursery never had one issue and always lovely things to say about my daughter. Unfortunately, due to me moving area I had no option but to move nurseries and unfortunately, this one had a placement straight away and was keen to get my money! I had to pay extra for my daughter to eat there with no option to take a packed lunch. Avoid this nursery at all costs.

Staff would always be truthful about a child's behaviour during their day however, would also understand if your child was struggling to settle or to meet boundaries within the setting and support the child /family around this. Staff would feedback to whoever was collecting in the most gentlest way with a positive ending, sadly this wasn't you on collection.
Just to remind you, 'you haven't had to pay extra as we didn't charge you anything for the 2 weeks your daughter attended our setting'. We also followed your guidelines in your email to us asking us not to claim the funding so you could use it elsewhere.

On arrival to the setting, staff were very welcoming and helpful. My child seems to really enjoy coming in as she goes in happy and feedback is always very informative. The setting seems to have a variety of different dishes, which my child seems to enjoy.

I can't fault Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School for the amazing care my son has received since being in the baby room.
