Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

My daughter has been going to ALC since she was 6 months old. She's currently 3. They have been absolutely incredible at looking after her, helping her to develop, teaching her and nurturing her. I wouldn't send her anywhere else!

The nursery is always willing to help with any supportive needs and understands the “whats” and “hows” when it comes to each individual child.

Good care!
I am extremely happy to have my child in Akhter Nursery. She loves coming to school, I notice that she feels better about herself and the feedback from her teachers and support staff is positive.

This nursery is amazing my daughter is in Badgers and is loving every moment. The teachers are amazing very approachable and communication is amazing they are amazing with the children. You can see they love what they do and are there to interact and cater to your child's needs. They give the children
such an amazing atmosphere and are so friendly and happy.

My 3-year-old son started in January. The staff were so amazing and made him feel so welcome. He settled in so well and he looks forward to going every day now. He comes out every day so happy. The staff are so lovely and communicate with you every day to let you know how your child’s been getting on
that day. My son is more confident since joining and I’ve noticed his speech improving day-by-day with all the interaction. If you’re thinking of taking your child here, I really do highly recommend. Also, lovely, fresh, hot meals cooked daily which is great as my son is trying new foods.

My daughter is currently in the baby room and loves coming to nursery, she always says the ladies' names at home when I say shall we go see your nursery friends. I couldn't fault this nursery at all I have two older children now at school that both attended the nursery from 9 months all the way through
to preschool. All the staff have so much care for the children and understand their needs. The feedback when I pick up is always so informative.

Since my daughter started on her new nursery journey at Akhter in October 2023 I've witnessed a remarkable transformation in her attitude and enthusiasm for learning. She has not only adapted quickly but also her journey so far has been one of growth, joy and discovery in a caring and safe environment.
Every time I pick her up from nursery she has a radiant smile which is an indication of happiness and fulfilment that she experienced at Akhter. All nursery staff are supportive, welcoming and friendly and always greeting us with a friendly smile. I also like and appreciate the efforts made by the nursery to involve parents in the educational process. Activities like reading sessions, maths course and arts and crafts provide invaluable opportunities for bonding and collaboration between home and nursery.
The use of the app has been a fantastic addition to our experience, I enjoy being able to peek into her world seeing her play and learn.

Wonderful nursery, friendly welcoming staff. So many opportunities for children to learn and develop with different rooms such as the sensory room, the sensory garden, the outdoor space.
My daughter has absolutely come along since January and is doing amazing within the room she attends.

My daughter is doing so well in Badgers all the staff are amazing.
She didn’t talk when she started now she talks interactive with all.
The nursery is great so much she has learnt from being there.

Akhter Early Learning Centre is a lovely nursery, my son loves coming in and learning all new stuff with them, the staff are so lovely and welcoming even with the new family addition, the management are always willing to help and are always there, the food that my son says he eats is very nutritious
and tasty so my son says.

Everyone is so lovely and only took my 11-month-old 1 week to settle in. She loves it, she has learnt so much and looks forward to going in to see her friends! She eats really well every day and always comes home happy!

Amazing and the best nursery. The staff are super friendly, welcoming and professional people.
My little boy has been in Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School since he was in the baby room and now he is in the pre-school room. He loves going to the nursery and he comes out happy from
nursery. This nursery also has staff that have been working there for years and are very professional and caring. Thank you Akhter Early Learning Centre for making my little boy's days happy.

Fantastic, highly recommended. All my children have attended. The staff go above and beyond for all the children. My little boy absolutely loves it there. Will be sending my little girl in September. Both my boys had attachment issues and the staff in the room always did what they could now I can’t
get them to leave.

My daughter has loved coming to this nursery from the first day she started. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. My daughter's eating habits have also improved massively there is nothing she won't try so much easier to give her different dishes at home now as before she was so fussy. My daughter
loves learning, reading, dancing and playing with children and I believe this is because of her enjoyment at nursery. I also like the activities they do to involve parents such as reading and arts and crafts mornings with the children. We will for sure miss Akhter as she finishes to go to reception this year and I just hope she enjoys reception and continues to be confident in her learning journey. Thank you Akhter I would truly recommend.

I would really recommend anyone considering bringing their child to Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School. We are relatively new to the nursery but have been extremely impressed with how settled our daughter has been and her bond with her caretakers is really lovely to see. We love the
observations via the app and it’s great to be able to see her playing and learning. As parents, we feel so lucky to leave our precious one in such capable and warm hands!

Lovely team and teachers, always supportive and friendly. My child has gone to the nursery since he was 2 and the teachers helped him to improve his English as well. This is the perfect nursery for my daughter, she loves it. She is growing quickly at the nursery, she can't wait for the session. Teachers are very good for kids, very helpful. This is the best nursery in the town!

Very friendly and caring staff. Very informative about how the day has been for the child. No complaints. My kids' dietary requirements are met, and they seem to enjoy every meal. They are very fond of their key workers.
