Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

Great nursery. Staff are very helpful and supportive. My daughter has loved going there since she was 11 months old, now she is in her last few weeks before 'big school' the staff have been great at supporting and getting her ready for the future.

Our grandson has now approached the end of their educational journey at Akhter and is due to start school in September. We cannot praise the staff and nursery enough - they create such a loving welcoming environment that every child really thrives and develops such great social skills there. They smile
going in and smile coming out - no better recommendation than that. Special the Owls class, thank you to everyone who has contributed to our first grandson for this amazing achievement. He will miss you all.

My son is graduating Akhter Nursery this month and he is very sad to leave! In the past 2 years he had the best fun, made amazing friends and ate the best food! Lovely nursery and amazing staff was happy to take my child to nursery and have seen her develop more and more over the months coming home being able to sing me all the months of the year... the staff are very understanding and good communication... very pleased.

My son has been at Akhter for over 2 years and he loves all the teachers and friends there. He has grown confident and also eating so much better. He has a medical condition where he needs extra attention with fluid intake but they have been understanding and giving me daily feedback on how much he
has drunk. I am happy to say I will be sending my son back for holiday clubs and will be sending my second baby too when he is older.

This is the best nursery the staff are very cooperative and understanding my son attended this nursery for 2 years and they are the best childcare providers in the area selecting this nursery for my child was the best decision as they help him to learn and grow my son has some signs of autism they discussed
with me guided me and help me to understand what autism is and from where I can get help the staff and nursery manager are very responsible with needs and care of children and try their best to provide individual care to every child.

Akhter Nursery to me is like a second home. My heart is always settled every time I drop off my child and my child is so happy to come to nursery. The staff always keep you updated, the attention to detail is exceptional. The care, support and education is brilliant. I have never regretted bringing

My daughter has only been attending the last few weeks however they have been absolutely fantastic with her. She has a diagnosis of autism and is currently nonverbal, she has settled in really well and I really am gutted I've not sent her there sooner.
Would recommend highly.

My daughter has been attending Akhter Early Learning Centre for the past two years. She loves going in every morning, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment the staff have created. I really couldn't be more impressed with this nursery. I have a 4-year-old and 2-year-old who both attend this setting. They are always happy and chat away about their day at school. My youngest loves the food. The daily updates about the children at the end of the day are lovely.

My daughter has been attending Akhter Early Learning Centre for the past 2 years and she's loved every second! She looks forward to going every day!
All staff are approachable, helpful and kind, they are so good with all the children. Good communication between the centre and parents via email updates.
They have good size rooms and play areas for all. Varieties of food offered, my daughters never complained! and affordable childcare. Now she's heading off to big school in September, we are really going to miss Akhter! Special thanks to the staff for being a special part of her journey.

My sister attended Akhter Early Learning Centre a few months ago. She was very shy and often cried, which worried us a lot. However, after just a few days at Akhter Early Learning Centre, she became much more confident and stopped crying as much. The nursery staff were incredibly amazing, supportive,
and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We do have 5 gardens for the children to play in, one sensory room and a sensory garden along with the large atrium /hall where they hold indoor sports if it's raining to heavily outside. Staff can take the children in these areas to ensure learning doesn't get boring and a change of activities can be explored both in and outside.

My daughter has flourished at this nursery. After a bad experience at her previous nursery, she was very worried about starting again. The nursery team were aware of this and helped her through her emotions with it all and she soon showed them what an amazing little girl she is. She has a big love for
learning and they help guide her through every step of her learning journey and she learning is very much tailored to her abilities. She comes home every week and shows us all the new things she has learned. She has recently been learning about the planets and is always talking about them, reeling off the names and little details about each one. The communication with staff and parents is amazing. Detailed updates every time I collect her about how she has been, what she has eaten etc. She had her graduation this week and it was such a great evening for her and her friends. She will be sad to be leaving the nursery.

My son started the nursery a few months ago, it’s taken him a little while to settle in as he is so clingy, but the staff in Hedgehogs room have been so supportive with him and myself.
He is really enjoying his time there and his speech and development have come on so well.
I can’t fault the staff
they are kind, caring and attentive.
Overall just a great experience all round.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to other parents/carers.

My son (aged 3) has been at Akhter since 6 months old and he absolutely loves going to nursery and his action-packed days of fun, learning and laughter. The room staff are very friendly, professional, supportive and caring especially when it comes to moving up throughout the nursery rooms as they get
older and the management and office team are always super helpful! The food is well balanced and nutritious with a good variety of freshly prepared meals. We are going to be gutted when having to leave to go to school.

My daughter loves it at Akhter Nursery. The staff are very caring and really put in a lot of effort to make it exciting for the children. Would love to get more pics on what my child is up to during the day. Overall a great place and I feel very comfortable to leave my daughter in their care.

My 15-month-old daughter attends the nursery. The baby room is lovely and spacious and has an outdoor area. She loves being there. She gets on really well with her key worker and the rest of the staff. They are hands-on on about child development too. Highly recommended.
