Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

I want just to say this nursery is amazing
I have both of my kids here and I'm very happy about my children's teachers they teach so many things in special my son
When he start at this nursery he didn't spoke properly but now I can see big difference
I recomand this nursery for everyone

Friendly and caring staff members, my daughter really enjoyed coming here from November 2024 until July 2025.She was happy and well taken care, made new friends and learning new things. Looking forward to next school year starting from September 2025.

Have found this nursery to be fantastic. Really positive experience with my eldest child who has attended since 2 years old. Staff have been supportive with helping my child explore new foods, toilet training and confidence.


Thoroughly impressed with overall time she's had here.


I'm now starting

my journey all over again by sending my youngest child. An alternative nursery wasn't even a thought!

My son made tremendous progress. He was delayed in speech but now talks for the whole world using full sentences and some pretty big words.
The toilet training was done so well with amazing results
The outside play areas are well secured but a a bit small

Great nursery. Staff are very helpful and supportive. My daughter has loved going there since she was 11 months old, now she is in her last few weeks before 'big school' the staff have been great at supporting and getting her ready for the future.

Our grandson has now approached the end of their educational journey at Akhter and is due to start school in September. We cannot praise the staff and nursery enough - they create such a loving welcoming environment that every child really thrives and develops such great social skills there. They smile
going in and smile coming out - no better recommendation than that. Special the Owls class, thank you to everyone who has contributed to our first grandson for this amazing achievement. He will miss you all.

My son is graduating Akhter Nursery this month and he is very sad to leave! In the past 2 years he had the best fun, made amazing friends and ate the best food! My son has been at Akhter for over 2 years and he loves all the teachers and friends there. He has grown confident and also eating so much better. He has a medical condition where he needs extra attention with fluid intake but they have been understanding and giving me daily feedback on how much he
has drunk. I am happy to say I will be sending my son back for holiday clubs and will be sending my second baby too when he is older.

This is the best nursery the staff are very cooperative and understanding my son attended this nursery for 2 years and they are the best childcare providers in the area selecting this nursery for my child was the best decision as they help him to learn and grow my son has some signs of autism they discussed
with me guided me and help me to understand what autism is and from where I can get help the staff and nursery manager are very responsible with needs and care of children and try their best to provide individual care to every child.

Akhter Nursery to me is like a second home. My heart is always settled every time I drop off my child and my child is so happy to come to nursery. The staff always keep you updated, the attention to detail is exceptional. The care, support and education is brilliant. I have never regretted bringing

My daughter has only been attending the last few weeks however they have been absolutely fantastic with her. She has a diagnosis of autism and is currently nonverbal, she has settled in really well and I really am gutted I've not sent her there sooner.
Would recommend highly.

My daughter has been attending Akhter Early Learning Centre for the past two years. She loves going in every morning, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment the staff have created. The nursery is very well organised and planned out for our little ones. The staff are really nice, helpful and patient towards the children. My son loves going to school every morning without hassle and that means he loves it there and that's due to the happy and playful environment the staff are offering
