Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

My 2 children attend the holiday club. They are always so excited to come, and they can't wait to see what activities they will be doing. I always get really good feedback and both of my children always tell me how nice their holiday club teachers are. When I come into the setting everyone is always

We reviewed many settings in Harlow and Epping and found Akhter Early Learning Centre to be the best. It is a well laid out, large, clean, safe, happy environment for my daughter to grow in. She is in the baby room 5 days a week and knowing she enjoys her time there makes it easier for us to go to work.

The nursery is very well managed with all information clearly displayed or information verbally provided. The place is kept clean with excellent safeguarding. All of the staff are very professional but friendly at the same time.
My child comes home happy with new skills and that's the most important
thing to me.

Everyone is welcoming and lovely at all times, whenever we have any sort of question or problem it will be resolved quickly. It's to my sister's experience she always comes home happy and satisfied and is never thirsty which in my opinion is very important as children can deteriorate very quickly as
they are moving around a lot.

My child always looks forward to going to the nursery and is very comfortable with the staff, she has even called someone mum which in my opinion shows just how much she enjoys her time there if she can feel like home and forget that she is away from her mummy. I always notice that they have several
activities for the children which really helps them explore different aspects.

My child has settled in really well into the nursery. He enjoys home cooked meals and his favourite is hot dog pasta. My child has a free taster session followed by three settling sessions before starting on the 9th. I receive updates through Eylog and enjoy seeing what he's been up to.

Fantastic staff and facilities. My son loves going to nursery and always appears as though he has a good day. We can see his progress on the online app and are delighted with the nurturing and care he gets.

My son started at Akhter in August after moving home which means this was his second preschool/nursery he attended. Akhter is very accommodating as they do a settling period for your child, and then assign a key worker to each child. This has really benefited our son and to us, as the school have communicated
any concerns regarding our son. Also supporting us and getting the support he needs. We have noticed an approvement in his speech and behaviour. They've haven't just supported our son but also provided parents support. The staff are all very welcoming and will always take the time out to listen. Another positive thing is the EY log being able to see your child's development and progress. We would definitely recommend this nursery setting to other parents.

Recently, having changed nursery manager I couldn't be more pleased with the attention to detail and support received whilst trying to settle my child. They have accepted training to understand her condition and work with me to support my daughters forever changing needs.

I would like to say, that all staff are trained in safeguarding, and the safety and welfare of our children who attend our setting is paramount to us! We have high door handles, security locks on all external and internal doorways and all staff are DBS checked when they start with us and on a termly basis. Staff are trained in Health and safety and have to adhere to policies and procedures. We also have our very own house keeper and 3 daily evening cleaners.

My son has been coming to the nursery since he was 9 months old with a short break in between, he loves coming. He has special bonds with the staff that work with him, lately he has been in the school readiness room to help prepare him for his move to school September 2017. I am very happy with the

I went to Rabbits room, I watched the end of a flash card exercise being done in two groups. I was very impressed to see the first group taking turns and being kind and with a little encouragement the second group waiting patiently, they spoke to them very gently to remind them they're taking turns.
Squirrels lady is amazing with my son, no matter his mood she just knows just how to speak to him to get him on the go and behaving, she also keeps him in a steady routine which keeps him calm even down to little things like manners and name tags.
