Spring Nursery: A springboard for healthy first steps. Where you can leave your child safe in the knowledge that they are going to have fun being equipped with the practical skills they will need as they grow up.

Spring Nursery is located less than 1 mile from Braintree Freeport and offers a 49 place day nursery. Its is open from 7.30am until 6pm, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 0 months to eleven years.

My son currently attends this nursery and he absolutely loves it. He started in September in the explorers room and he very quickly adjusted to his daily routine and is so comfortable with the setting. The nursery manager and deputy manager are absolutely fantastic and so supportive. All of the nursery
teachers at Carousel are very welcoming and friendly, They all really take the time out to get to know the children and the families. At pick up we are always told what the children have done during the day, who they played with and what they enjoyed. I love that this setting does drop-in sessions throughout the year so parents can come in and take part in activities with the children. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone who is looking. They really do know how to look after children, keep them safe, teach them valuable things and support their early learning. Thank you Carousel, so happy my son still gets another 2 years with you!

Our first baby boy started at Spring Carousel in January this year. Being first time parents and only living in the area for the last fews years, we had no family or close friends to recommend a nursery, so we used a social media page to get reviews and Spring came up a lot with raving reviews. We are
so glad that our boy got into the nursery as he has flourished there so much beyond our expectations. All the staff and managers are friendly and so caring. Our boy now only 15 months goes into nursery not even looking back at me and Dad as he loves it there so much. We are forever grateful that the staff have been so fantastic with our boy helping him to develop socially, mentally and physically. He really is becoming a bright, confident little toddler. The app that we use daily to see how our boy's day is going, nappy changes, food, and sleep is amazing and gives us so much peace of mind while our boy is at nursery. Thank you again for being a home from home for our little boy!

My daughter started Spring on Chapel Hill in March 2024 at only 9 months. I was really apprehensive to leave her in a nursery setting all day at such a young age but I have been over the moon with the nursery and its wonderful staff. She has settled in so quickly and has the most fun-filled days! So
happy I chose this lovely nursery for her to grow and learn in. It's a happy place for her and me as I know she is safe and happy here! Can't recommend it enough even in such a short space of time!

Staff at Spring Carousel are very friendly and approachable, especially management.
My son is very excited when he hears "Let's go to nursery”. He always has a bright smile on his face to and from which makes me feel relieved knowing that he likes it.
The learning technique is great and hygiene is
up to standard. Food is very nutritious too.
I highly recommend this nursery as it makes every child’s dream come true.

My child has been at the nursery for over a year, and we haven't had any issues so far. More often than not, my child struggles with being dropped off but always settles well and gets plenty of cuddles from the wonderful staff. We love getting regular updates on the app and seeing what she’s been up
to throughout the day. The staff obviously put a lot of work into the daily activities. She always comes away with a smile on her face and lots of funny, lovely stories. We would highly recommend.

My son attended his settling-in sessions and loved them so I expected him to have an easy transition. Unfortunately, when he started in January he showed a lot of separation anxiety and still does now. I am so grateful to everyone in the innovators room for how they treat and calm my boy in the mornings.
He has formed a great bond with his key person and I could not be happier with the way she treats him. I really think she does an amazing job and I can see how much she cares about each child. They encourage my son to eat foods he wouldn’t normally eat at home and has even taught him his ABCs. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others if given the chance.

The nursery setting and staff are wonderful. My child has settled in really well and the food provided is healthy and has opened my child up to eating much more. They also helped him with BLW as I was very nervous with this and now he mostly feeds himself. The app provides updates of everything throughout
the day and an overall summary of what the children have done that day. My only comment would be that the pictures could be more inclusive. There’s been quite a few times my child has been there and there aren’t any pictures of him that day. Whilst I understand this is a wonderful perk, it’s always nice to see my child in them and what he’s been doing, but otherwise, I love the nursery, as does my child and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else.

The staff at the nursery are all doing a very great job in looking after the kids, their safeguard is top-notch, the feeding is nutritious, the playground is awesome, the relationships and bond between the staff and the kids are great, and more strength to your staff.

The staff are amazing very kind and caring. When my daughter is upset I pick her up and cuddle her. She has become more sociable and has settled nicely into the nursery. Throughout the day they have amazing contact and keep you updated. I’m so glad my daughter has started here.

This is such a lovely nursery, they went above and beyond! My daughter unfortunately broke her leg a few weeks before she was due to start at the nursery, as a mum I found it a very stressful time. I was amazed at how much support the staff gave us as I really didn’t want her to miss out on starting
with other children. Talking to their deputy manager, who was my point of contact, she made it possible (with other colleagues) for my daughter to continue with her settling in session and had put a plan in place for her to still be cared for whilst she was in cast. Luckily it was all off by the time she started properly, but really appreciated what they had done for us. She has never been in any childcare before and loves it! She runs in and gives the staff a cuddle, that alone shows that she feels safe and loved!

As a single mum I was incredibly worried about selecting the right nursery for my daughter. On visiting Spring Nursery Carousel Chapel Hill I knew immediately she would be at home. The staff are wonderful when I booked a look-around and her settling days were brilliant. Since starting at the nursery
her development has come on leaps and bounds. The communication between the nursery and parents is above my expectations. If you are looking for a nursery, look nowhere else.

My little girl was nine months when she started at the nursery back in January 2023. I was so nervous leaving her but was so happy as, within weeks, she was already thriving! The updates on the nursery app are fantastic; I can always check what my little girl has been up to and can communicate easily
and quickly with the staff, who are also so friendly. Thank you for looking after her and helping with her development, where she is doing extremely well!

My daughter started at the setting in September 22, and I am extremely happy with how the Pre-School room has supported her throughout. The team leader/deputy has gone above and beyond in ensuring she feels happy in the setting. All the Pre-School team have been very supportive towards me since starting
at the setting.
The communication is strong; they use an app to pass on nursery messages, which includes a messenger, so I am easily able to send a message to them at any time and vice versa. The app also allows me to see updates on my daughter and what they are focusing on development-wise.
Overall, I am very happy with the Pre-School team and appreciate the effort they put into looking after my daughter.

An incredible nursery. The staff are so lovely; they become a part of an 'extended family' which makes drop-off a breeze and knowing the children are in such safe hands keeps me at peace in the day.
The rooms are kitted out with so many toys/activities you couldn't need or want for more. The menu
is a wide variety of different flavours/tastes and textures, alot of food we wouldn't have at home.

My 16-month-old daughter loves this nursery, and so do I. From visiting for the tour, we felt positive about this setting. Settling in was a smooth transition. The staff are warm, friendly, positive and encouraging. My daughter eats well, naps and looks like she's having a blast from what I see on the
app (which is fantastic, and the app is too - it is updated with observations and photos swiftly).
I have a little lady who is very happy to attend each day.

Jade has worked for the company since 2011 and holds a level 3 childcare qualification. Jade strives to ensure that the children are at the heart of all decisions and ensures they are learning and developing through many areas of play. Jade loves to see the children thrive.


Jade also has a daughter and loves to be creative and messy.


Jade is also the SENCO alongside the deputy and also has a mental health first aid certificate

Brad has a level 3 qualification and is based in our inventors room as the senior room lead. Brad has also taken on the role of garden coordinator and has lots of fresh ideas to spruce up or large play area.
Brad really enjoys working in the childcare sector and brings a really fun vibe to Spring Carousel for the children.
