Since my little one has started Acorns he has grown so much and really found his feet. The nursery has been great with his food allergies. I would recommend Acorns to everyone who is looking for a nursery.

I cannot fault the team at Jubilee Wood, they care for the children like they are family and they have been so accomodating. They have worked with me to solve any issue and attended to every need. The communication is always superb and the smile on my little one's face at each drop-off and collection speaks volumes! I would highly recommend this setting to anyone!

Myself and my child attended Mother's Day breakfast. It was very well organised and planned in advance. When we arrived the hall was beautifully presented and well thought out. Before my child started nursery I was so nervous and all the staff made the transition so easy! My child loves it here and I couldn't recommend it enough, thank you.

My daughter enjoys coming to the nursery. So many activities to do that help with her development. Amazing staff, always update me with progress and they are always willing to assist with areas where support is needed. I will highly recommend Acorns.

Jubilee Wood have always been really supportive, but especially the last few months with my daughter's progression. They have worked hard with her writing, drawing, and counting and encouraged her to now enjoy it whereas before she had no interest. So pleased with this preparation for her move to big school.

We are very satisfied with the nursery staff for their care, support, and service. Both of our sons go to this nursery. We get regular updates using the nursery app of our sons when they are at nursery. So we feel relaxed and can concentrate on our work during their nursery time.

This is a fantastic nursery, we visited so many different nurseries on the search to find somewhere for my daughter to go that would provide the same care she gets at home. We came across Acorn at Jubilee Wood and knew instantly this was the one. As a family, we felt welcomed and the warmth and care from the staff shone through. The facilities, the space, the organisation, activities, everything was fantastic and we signed up straight away. She started at 1yrs old with an allergy which they catered for, she wasn't made to feel different and the food is always nutritional. My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery she doesn't like to leave! She is developing ahead of her milestones, there are always so many exciting activities going on, different things every day, more than I could do at home. I get updates every day with photos of what she's doing. Every single member of staff is amazing, I don't have enough good words to say, I highly recommend this nursery to everyone!

Jubilee Wood are absolutely amazing. My toddler has complex additional needs and the manager was so accommodating. I love that the children can spend as much time outside, as inside, and how the nursery is set out for play. Every member of staff was helpful, and happy!

Would definitely recommend to everyone! Thank you.

This nursery is amazing! We love everything about it. The staff are all great and highly professional. I can tell our son is in great hands. The staff always tell us all about his day in a lot of detail, give us excellent advice, and do plenty of development activities with him. We also love their app which tells us how well our child was eating, sleeping, etc. The staff also post plenty of pictures and observations on there. The nursery has plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. Kudos and thanks to management and staff!

Jubilee Wood provides an excellent service of care to the children, from activities to help to nurture them. My child has extreme allergies and the team are fantastic in his safety and care. He has built a bond with the members of staff and loves going. The staff are all absolute gems and they provide so many different ways of learning. The communication between them and myself as a parent is fantastic. I feel like on the whole they really do provide a safe and caring environment.

My son attended for approx 18 months. We always knew there was an issue with his personal development and looked to do something about this, however, there was little encouragement from the nursery even though we were always vocal about concerns we had. Acorn made little attempt to work on getting him to eat whilst attending, instead offered to have him attend different hours to miss lunch (which won’t help when he starts school). He had no contact with the SENCO until he moved rooms (when he turned 3 to the room she was in) and no attempt to liaise with SALT, whom we had already contacted and attending sessions with. Pulled my son out and he now attends a preschool who immediately contacted the various teams on his first day who will hopefully be able to get him 1:1 support that we’ve always known he needs. Regret keeping my son at Acorn so long and feel like if we’d pulled him out sooner he would be thriving.

Reply from Gabbie Brandon, Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator at Acorn Day Nursery (Jubilee Wood)

Thank you for your review, and we’re really sorry that you felt we didn’t do enough to support your son’s needs, and that the external support sought by our SENCO for your son took longer than anticipated to be put in place. We’re disappointed that we didn’t know about your concerns earlier, but would be happy to discuss them with you if that would be helpful.

I had my daughter going to Acorn Day Nursery and she really enjoyed it. There are many activities for the kids to do, a lot of messy playing and forest school. The outdoor area is stunning and offers the children the opportunity to explore the environment.
I saw big improvments in my daughter's evolution since she started. Saying goodbye to her key persons was very hard for her, she is still asking when she can go back.
My son is attending the same nursery and I would not change ot for nothing.
Best place for them to be and develop!!!

I strongly recommend Acorn Day Nursery.

My son joined Acorn Day Nursery just two weeks ago when I returned to work after the summer. And I can’t fault them one bit, not only have they made sure he’s settling well and happy they’ve provided evidence through the app which is a huge comfort to me while at work. Seeing him happy and playing through the posts and pictures they send is wonderful.

I would highly recommend Acorn to family and friends. I am extremely happy I chose them as a child care provider enabling me to still work.

My son has attended since he was 9 months old and the level of care and nurturing he had received from all staff at the nursery has been amazing. He has developed into a confident, happy child and the positive influences from the Acorn Dary Nursery Jubilee Wood team have been clear to see. He loves attending, has made great friends and learned so much in such short time. The staff have been very helpful and accommodating, very professional and management of the setting is outstanding. Overall very pleased with the service provided by Acorn Day Nursery Jubilee Wood!

My daughter is 13 months old and has only just started at nursery after having spent the previous 5 months in lockdown with very little interaction with others outside the immediate family and virtually no experience of being in new and unfamiliar environments. Her key worker suggested a number of settling in sessions to get her used to being with other people but with one of us in attendance as well. These progressed over a couple of weeks to her being there without us and participating in the nursery routine for a few hours at a time. Her key worker has been very patient and supportive which has helped my daughter make the transition to being there 4 days a week. She eats well and seems happy all of which is evidenced through the Famly app the nursery use to provide updates throughout the day.
Their policies for cleaning, checking temperatures and ensuring that they are COVID safe and compliant are clear and make sense.

I would recommend to others.

I like the patience and attention they gave my son on his first day to help him settle. They have a big garden that the children play in, my son loves it since he likes playing outdoors, they also have great classrooms equipped with different play items for the children to explore. I think my son loves the school already since he even didn't want to go home on his first day.

Last day of nursery today after 3 years. I cannot question the dedication, care, and love shown toward my child in this time.
She has simply had the best preparation in her early years as she heads into school.
From day one as an Acorn, to leaving as an Oak I know I made the right choice in choosing Jubilee Wood.
The staff have been A1 throughout this. Communication about her development and daily activities has always been given.
Even through lockdown, regular contact with activities, and updates.
Just fantastic. Thank you to everyone that has had an involvement in making my child the bright, considerate little person they are today.

I would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone wanting care for their little one(s).

My daughter has been attending this nursery for some time now, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the nursery environment and the staff themselves.
First, I want to express how grateful I am to every single member of staff from the kitchen assistants, playroom staff to management. My daughter feels joy when she enters the building, not fear of me leaving her and that is a blessing in its self. She is so comfortable and genuinely happy to be there. She loves all the staff like they are her own family, so I never worry about leaving her.
Each day my child comes back from a new adventure, she tells me all the things she has done and learned that day; it’s great.

I personally believe one of the reasons my daughter is so advanced for her age is because the nursery staff took the time to get to know her and nurture her. I will be sad when she goes to mainstream school.
