Acorn Day Nursery (Jubilee Wood)

Great nursery! Our son is very happy here. Staff are always so informative on pick up. Lovely reviews of how he is getting on with regular photos. Staff are so friendly and welcoming! Our son seems to be developing great with the help of this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Acorn Nursery Jubilee Wood for six months now, myself and my partner could not be happier with our decision to place her in the care of the amazing Jubilee Wood staff. Her development in this short period of time has been beyond our expectations and we would credit this to her time at nursery with the incredible staff members she has around her helping her on her journey. Socially she has really taken that next step being around the other Acorns, we have noticed a massive change in her when interacting with other children outside of the nursery environment which as parents is so lovely to see. We find it so reassuring and love our updates throughout the day on Jubilee Wood interactive site posting pictures to see what our little girl is up to. We are looking forward in the next few months to placing our younger son into Acorns Nursery Jubilee Wood so he can share the same experiences as his sister. Cannot recommend it highly enough as you will see all the smiley faces in there for yourself

Our daughter has been at Jubilee Woods since she was 7 months. It has been wonderful to watch her develop which is no doubt due to the quality of care she receives while at nursery. All the staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond, making the nursery a fun place to be.

My son started in April 2023 at one years old in the acorn room. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The settle-in sessions really helped and the management has been very flexible and agile with me as my son has had a few nasty illnesses. He is now really starting to settle I can really notice the changes in him been great to see.

The menu is great too, wish she would eat that well at home!

My daughter has been attending the nursery for the last five months or so and has settled in amazingly! The staff are brilliant and so welcoming, my daughter has made fantastic improvements in her speaking and social skills she’s making friends and learning so much. I love being able to see what she’s up to I couldn’t be happier.

The staff are fantastic and my son loves going there. Great place that really brings out his character, lots of activities for the kids and updates via the app. Special stay and plays and hands-on learning, highly recommend Acorn Jubilee Nursery.

My son has been attending Acorns at Jubilee Wood for eight months now and I have absolutely nothing negative to say. His development has come on leaps and bounds, his speech has improved massively and his confidence is now through the roof! It’s such a friendly environment. All the staff are amazing and I love how they all know my son personally even if they do not work in his room. I could go on and on about how amazing this nursery has been. I’m so glad I chose to send my son here.

Something wasn't quite right here. My son never settled properly in nine months of being there, they had to peel him off me, especially after a holiday or something, staff said that was normal. He now attends another nursery and was happy to attend after only two sessions and even after a long holiday runs without so much as a backwards glance.

I have three years experience with this nursery. Given the unique pressures of the past three years, I have found the support to be outstanding and the care they have given my child exemplary. They have risen to the challenges to make sure the children are supported and kept safe, healthy and happy. The staff are cordial and friendly and show genuine care towards the children. It is well managed, I have had no issues and I’m impressed at their level of organisation.

My daughter started at Acorn Day Nursery Jubilee Wood when she was a year old and settled in beautifully thanks to the Acorn room staff at the time. She is now 2 years old and I’m really happy with how the staff have helped my daughter settle in the Squirells room since her move, she’s always mentioning their names and what she did when she comes home as she absolutely loves coming to nursery and has made some friends too. Thank you so much to all the staff as they are doing a fantastic job which reflects in my daughters happiness and excitement to go to nursery every morning!

Thank you for the support, care and love that all the staff provide for my boy. It is very much like a big family in the nursery. We would highly recommend the nursery.

My daughter is completely adapted and she feels very comfortable at the nursery. The team coped very well since the beginning with the fact that she was coming from another country and does not speak the language at the beginning. They encourage her in various aspects and she is responding very well. We created a good relationship with the staff, they are always open-minded to hear our concerns and doubts. They are very caring and contact us in case of something happens during the day. It's also very interesting and useful to have meetings with her Key Person to discuss how she is developing and what we would like to achieve in the future.

Great nursery with an absolutely amazing team. Very creative approach to kids education and entertainment, good facilities, especially the little wood, so kids are so close to nature all the time. And the overall culture of the place is the perfect place for kids.

Excellent facility, staff and management. The staff are very kind to the children and teaching kids as per the individual kid's requirement and ready to make changes to the facility and food as per the individual kid's needs. Can see a quite lot of improvement in my son's day to activities and communication. Within a month, my son got adapted well to the facility and staff. He loves going to this nursery every day.

Very good staff and management. I was really happy with my child's progress. Sometimes I was a little bit worried when my child came home full of sand in the hair. But all the same, I will really recommend to my family and friends.

As I knew about this Acorn Day Nursery (Jubilee Wood) since my daughter's time, my son joined as soon as he turned two years old. In fact, it only took a few days for my son to feel at home in this nursery, and he now thoroughly enjoys his time there. It's really great that they assess children on their 2-year milestone and create development plans for them. The staff are all absolute gems, and they offer so many different ways to learn. I love how well we communicate with each other as parents. I'll recommend the nursery to parents any time. My daughter (2) joined Acorn Jubilee Wood after we moved to Milton Keynes from London. She was in a nursery that she loved and naturally, we were so concerned about how she would settle into a new nursery, environment etc. We were delighted that our daughter settled in beautifully and has already made strong bonds with staff members and her peers. She is happy when we drop her off and pick her up and names everyone in nursery (both at nursery and at home). She loves the huge outdoor/indoor space to play and explore to help her grow and develop. Every day the nursery has new things for the children to play with (cornflour/dough with different colours etc). The staff were absolutely brilliant in settling her in and now do an amazing job in making my daughter happy every single day at nursery - I am extremely grateful to them. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and the outdoor space is amazing and so important for children's development. Offer super useful workshops for parents to support positive behaviours at home - very comprehensive.
