Really lovely staff I feel completely happy leaving my 11 month old with. The setting is clean and always seems to have resources for the children. Love how much focus there is on outside play and forest school. Both of my children have attended and always enjoyed going to nursery. The team are always happy to help with anything as well.

My 2 year old little girl joined her just after her 2nd birthday and she loves the place. She is smiling from the moment she is there til the moment she has finished for the day. To me, she is vey happy to be here. I cannot fault the staff. They have very helpful and supportive. Couldn't ask for a better suited nursery for my little girl

My son goes to this nursery, when he first started he didn't talk much and didn't like being away from me. Now he loves going here and his speech has improved a lot. There is a lot for him to do here, indoor and outdoor activities.

My son started nursery at the age of 3 months at the nurseries previous location (Willows). The staff at the nursery are friendly and keen to ensure the children learn new things on a daily basis. The move to Jubilee Wood has resulted in more space for the children to play inside and out. The weekly Forest School trips were a big draw for me to the Acorn nursery and they do not disappoint, my son loves the trips to the great outdoors, drinking hot chocolate around a fire and making huts.

The children have various different sections in each room, varying from dressing up, a builders hut, a kitchen, to drawing, painting and reading. There is something for every child, and the carers encourage the children to use their imaginations.

My son leaves in September for school. I will be really sad to see him leave a place he loves and that I love too!

Overall Experience

In my opinion Acorn at The Willows is a great nursery for my little Lady. The staff are extremely friendly, relaxed and likable. I actually enjoy leaving my little baby there, as I know she will be well looked after, she will eat well and she will play with various toys. She is also learning to interact with other babies. I love how multicultural the nursery is. That was something that has initially attracted me to the nursery, as well as the staff. My baby is learning loads of skills at the nursery, and she is extremely happy there. Only one thing that I can object to is the updates that are sent to me regarding my baby. When I came for a tour back in October 2015 I was told that I will be getting daily updates (more than 1 per day, it sounded like every few hours) and progress on my baby, by the App that the nursery uses. Unfortunately, this is not the case. On average since my baby has been at the nursery, we get 1 review every 3-4 weeks.
