Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

We are absolutely made up with how well our son is thriving since starting at Grasshoppers. He was shy and anxious at times but staff have been so supportive and have encouraged him to get involved. He is now so sociable and his self-confidence is building every day. We are hugely reassured by the dedication, experience and professionalism of all the staff. We would recommend this nursery to all our friends and family.

We have decided to put in for another day as I think my son would benefit so much from this. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make every effort to make you feel at ease.

Wonderful nursery - huge outdoor space and the children have regular access. Staff all very friendly and caring. Wide range of activities for the children and overall a lovely atmosphere and environment.

They go out of their way to support newcomers who might be upset/afraid/anxious and this helps the parents to go to work etc. with peace of mind. They have practical contingency plans in the event of surprises eg. unpredictable weather. They always acknowledge/help when things do not go according to expectations eg missing clothes or spoilt clothing.

A massive thank you to all the team there that make it such an enjoyable educational environment.

My daughter recently moved up rooms to the 2-3-year-old room. The staff have been excellent supporting her with the transition from room to room. They have kept me informed of all the changes and made the transition smooth and hassle-free.

My son is my second child to have attended Grasshoppers. Grasshoppers were the only nursery to send them to and deferred my return to work until they both had a place. My son will be leaving for big school and will really miss nursery, especially his keyworker who he adores. He has been lucky to have her in two rooms during his nursery year. Grasshoppers is a wonderful, nurturing environment full of loving, professional staff. I have felt relaxed leaving my children in their care over the years. We will all really miss the nursery and all the wonderful staff. Thank you.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 9 months. We have always been pleased with the staff and the care provided. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it has set her up well for starting school. My son is also at the nursery and will continue to do so until he starts school. Thank you to everybody at the nursery.

Lovely nursery - both of our girls have been very happy here. Excellent, friendly staff and great facilities.

My daughter started at Grasshoppers a year ago and since then she has developed so much, socially, talking and walking! The staff are always super friendly and do everything they can to make sure she is happy and safe. There are lots of opportunities to meet other parents and for little ones to make friends. I am very sad that she has to leave, the next nursery has a lot to live up to.

My son has absolutely thrived at Grasshoppers. The staff are amazing and have provided a fantastic environment for my son to learn and grow and given a huge variety of different activities and experiences.

We have had a lovely 6 months with Grasshoppers. We really like coming here and our initial observations of Grasshoppers were accurate. They have been very friendly and patient and have always been able to help us with questions. We have really enjoyed our time here.

The nursery has been fantastic in providing a high level of care and the staff are always friendly. My son has loved being at Grasshoppers and the staff have taken such care and gone over and above expectations to ensure he has had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

For every parent, it is daunting leaving their child, but everyone at Grasshoppers has been so supportive and kind, it certainly has made it easier for us as parents. Our little boy has struggled being left but clearly as soon as we leave he has a lovely time and has developed so much within a few months.

His Key Worker has been amazing and this clearly shows in the way he is with her (and the photos/video's on I Connect), her time and dedication has been outstanding and this is very reassuring for us. Even producing a little book for him to take home with familiar photo's of the nursery and staff to assist him settling in.

The staff take time in getting to know the children on an individual basis and will take the time to speak to parents to reassure and discuss any concerns.

I would not hesitate to recommend Grasshoppers.

Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old, she is now 22 months and developing really well thanks to the superb care they provide. She settled well and has always been really happy. The facilities and activities are great, the garden is amazing. We receive thorough feedback every day and her key worker regularly uploads photos and information on her progress onto Parent Zone so we can see how she's doing, it's really lovely to read. The management team are super efficient, really helpful and friendly. Overall we are really pleased with Grasshoppers and would highly recommend.

Really pleased with the care provided. I know my son is happy at the nursery and enjoys the activities they do. The carers are all lovely and my son gets on so well with a number of them. Great staff. Lovely nursery.

A great nursery with superb staff who care but also work well together. They always have time to talk to me and support my requests as best as they can. Management is fun, fair and firm. Makes interaction approachable and a flexible response is sought as a default.

I highly recommend this nursery and am so grateful that my son is here and he is thriving.

I would be more than happy to recommend Grasshoppers Day Nursery. Taking your child to the nursery for the first time can be daunting for any parent and I was terrified on that first day! I was met by the staff who were extremely comforting and welcoming. They immediately showed an interest in my daughter and helped her to settle in nicely. I left the nursery, after dropping her off and tried to sneak away thinking she would react better, however, she caught me leaving (my heart sunk) and then she came over to me, said goodbye and toddled off to play house with a member of staff! I almost skipped out of the door! Since then my daughter has bonded so well with all the staff and other children and loves Nursery days! She has also developed in so many areas and loves learning new things! Wouldn't consider sending her anywhere else.

The garden is fantastic. The toys and space they have to enjoy is amazing and one of the many reasons why we choice this nursery, as our daughter is an outside child.
