Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

Cannot praise the staff at Aylesbury Grasshoppers highly enough; patient, fun and kind. The gentle approach taking full account of child development is exactly aligned with how we choose to parent. Both children are happy and securely attached to staff and this has made being a working mum feel much easier than it could have done. Amazing.

Grasshoppers Aylesbury is definitely a nursery I would recommend to other parents. My little boy has been in the Caterpillar room since November 2017 and the staff have been absolutely amazing with him, watching him grow and helping him develop. My son's development has improved massively since attending Grasshoppers. The staff have become family to my little boy and myself too. They care for my son as if he is their own which makes dropping off my son a lot easier. I feel the staff at Grasshoppers are a fantastic team and work extremely well together. I couldn't thank the staff enough for what they do my son.

As a parent, I feel very involved within the nursery and receive good communication from the nursery constantly.

My child has settled in really well over the past 6 months and I feel so confident and happy leaving him with the team.

His key worker was so helpful and reassuring when he initially started, always happy to speak to me - no matter how many times I called at first!

The rest of the team have been just as engaging and always make such an effort with both my child and me - they make a big fuss of him when he arrives!

At the end of the day, they go through everything with me so thoroughly and patiently and give exactly the right level of detail. They are always happy to answer any questions I have, and I am always impressed of how well they are getting to know my child.

My little boy adores nursery. He has strong bonds with both the adults and his peers. Yogurt and rice cakes are the highlight of his morning and playing in the garden with his friends ensures when I collect him he's ready for a good night's sleep! Can't thank Grasshoppers enough for their positive reinforcement and unwavering passion for early years.

All the girls here are extremely polite and have a smile on the faces when we arrive. Every morning, no matter the weather, the Sun is shining in the nursery and you'll find someone ready to listen to your concerns or queries. They're doing all sorts of things every day and my son is happy and he's growing nurtured with best. I really want to thank them for the great work they're doing. Thanks, girls!

We are absolutely made up with how well our son is thriving since starting at Grasshoppers. He was shy and anxious at times but staff have been so supportive and have encouraged him to get involved. He is now so sociable and his self-confidence is building every day. We are hugely reassured by the dedication, experience and professionalism of all the staff. We would recommend this nursery to all our friends and family.

We have decided to put in for another day as I think my son would benefit so much from this. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make every effort to make you feel at ease.

Wonderful nursery - huge outdoor space and the children have regular access. Staff all very friendly and caring. Wide range of activities for the children and overall a lovely atmosphere and environment.

They go out of their way to support newcomers who might be upset/afraid/anxious and this helps the parents to go to work etc. with peace of mind. They have practical contingency plans in the event of surprises eg. unpredictable weather. They always acknowledge/help when things do not go according to expectations eg missing clothes or spoilt clothing.

A massive thank you to all the team there that make it such an enjoyable educational environment.

My daughter recently moved up rooms to the 2-3-year-old room. The staff have been excellent supporting her with the transition from room to room. They have kept me informed of all the changes and made the transition smooth and hassle-free.

My son is my second child to have attended Grasshoppers. Grasshoppers were the only nursery to send them to and deferred my return to work until they both had a place. My son will be leaving for big school and will really miss nursery, especially his keyworker who he adores. He has been lucky to have her in two rooms during his nursery year. Grasshoppers is a wonderful, nurturing environment full of loving, professional staff. I have felt relaxed leaving my children in their care over the years. We will all really miss the nursery and all the wonderful staff. Thank you.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 9 months. We have always been pleased with the staff and the care provided. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it has set her up well for starting school. My son is also at the nursery and will continue to do so until he starts school. Lovely nursery - both of our girls have been very happy here. Excellent, friendly staff and great facilities.

My daughter started at Grasshoppers a year ago and since then she has developed so much, socially, talking and walking! The staff are always super friendly and do everything they can to make sure she is happy and safe. There are lots of opportunities to meet other parents and for little ones to make friends. I am very sad that she has to leave, the next nursery has a lot to live up to.

My son has absolutely thrived at Grasshoppers. The staff are amazing and have provided a fantastic environment for my son to learn and grow and given a huge variety of different activities and experiences.

We have had a lovely 6 months with Grasshoppers. We really like coming here and our initial observations of Grasshoppers were accurate. They have been very friendly and patient and have always been able to help us with questions. We have really enjoyed our time here.

The nursery has been fantastic in providing a high level of care and the staff are always friendly. My son has loved being at Grasshoppers and the staff have taken such care and gone over and above expectations to ensure he has had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

For every parent, it is daunting leaving their child, but everyone at Grasshoppers has been so supportive and kind, it certainly has made it easier for us as parents. Our little boy has struggled being left but clearly as soon as we leave he has a lovely time and has developed so much within a few months.

His Key Worker has been amazing and this clearly shows in the way he is with her (and the photos/video's on I Connect), her time and dedication has been outstanding and this is very reassuring for us. Even producing a little book for him to take home with familiar photo's of the nursery and staff to assist him settling in.

The staff take time in getting to know the children on an individual basis and will take the time to speak to parents to reassure and discuss any concerns.

I would not hesitate to recommend Grasshoppers.
