Grasshoppers Day Nursery is a home-from-home environment set within a beautiful detached house with a stunning garden. They have also obtained their Green Flag award.

There is a large, enclosed and well-equipped garden with safe and secure areas for each age group. Outdoor activities are scheduled throughout the year to maximise the amount of time children spend in the open air.

The nursery offers a fully inclusive package, opening from 7.30-6.30 giving parents a convenient service.

Great members of the team in pre-school. They all made my daughter feel welcome and involved from day one. One of the nursery practitioners provides great feedback after every session, treating/recalling all children individually. I am also provided with great feedback online to comment on. The nursery
team leader made settling in and understanding parental aspects easy and comfortable. Another one of the nursery practitioners is always welcoming to my daughter, ensuring she is settled and answers any questions or queries.

A very caring environment where the staff members clearly care a lot for the children they are taking care of. Communication skills are very good from the nursery and as parents we were kept well informed on our child's day/how she had been in herself.

Fab first parents evening. Staff appeared to be confident and knowledgeable on my son. They seemed positive and provided in depth information for me. The evening was organised well and I didn't have to wait to be seen!

Our daughter loves coming to nursery, she has a big smile across her face from the moment we pull into the care park. The staff seem very caring and affectionate, ensuring we feel confident our daughter is in a safe, educational and supportive environment.

We are very lucky to have found Grasshoppers. Our son is very happy here, has lots of fun and asks for the staff at weekends too. For us as parents, knowing that he is happy and able to learn and explore in a safe, clean and friendly environment makes it much easier getting on with our work day. We
find the email communication with the next weeks planned activities useful and appreciate the daily feedback too. Highly recommended.

Both my boys love/d nursery and are/were very happy there. They gained valuable social skills interacting with the staff and loved the food. The opening hours make work-life balance possible and even though expensive it provides good opportunities for development and play

Thank you so much for offering my son and daughter such a wonderful experience at nursery. They love to come to nursery and always seem to come home talking about all the fun things they have done in their day. I have observed that my daughter's talking has now developed well while at nursery and my
son has appreciated the social learning from the setting. Unfortunately, due to me taking maternity leave the children cannot continue to attend the nursery. We are very excited about having a new member of the family on the way. Thank you again. Grasshoppers is such a lovely nursery setting and I would recommend it highly to anyone who asked.

We have been impressed with how well the staff have ensured a smooth transition for our 2 daughters who started last September. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. We are kept very well informed of our children's day and also of the weekly/monthly goings on. It is comforting to see the creative
planning displayed in the pre-school room and how the staff follow the children's interests. The rooms are always set up with well thought through attractive and stimulating activities when we drop off in the morning. Both our children are happy to be left with the staff.

My son loves going to nursery twice a week and adores his key worker. He seems to do a good range of activities and his key worker is always happy to give us a good update of what he's been up to. Everyone in the nursery is friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with our choice.

We are happy with the grasshoppers nursery. When our son started there at 13 months old we were anxious to start with but he settled very well thanks to the support from the staff. The meals are well balanced and the out door space is excellent. We're very happy with the building, equipment, staff as
well as the activities for the children. We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents, even the car parking is easy! very friendly staff but very professional too!

My son has been attending Grasshoppers Day Nursery for 9 months now and he loves it. My main priority is for him to be happy and he really is. The level of care is truly amazing, the staff show so much love towards him and all the other children, it is fantastic to see. My son is learning through activities
and play that are tailored to his needs and interests, The food provided is brilliant, he even eats meat (never does for me). The garden is amazing. The management team are very welcoming and I feel that we are always kept up to date with info on our son's learning. Thank you Grasshoppers for a fantastic experience.

My daughter has attended Grasshoppers Aylesbury since August 2014 and it is a safe and secure facility and she bonded with her key worker very well. It has a fantastic outdoor space and great decking area in the bumblebee room where children can still play outside if the garden area is too wet to play
in. The Refurbishment and extension to the Nursery finished just as my Daughter started at the nursery, the rooms are big and facilitate many different activities such as Music corner (which she loves), Home Corner, Book Corner and many more. The staff are friendly and the food menu is fantastic and has many different varieties of dishes. My Daughter is only leaving because she received a place at a Pre School that is attached to a School which has an outstanding reputation. If she had not received this place, I would be more than happy to leave her at Grasshopper's until school age and I would recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for a friendly, Professional caring environment for their child to attend.

My son has been attending Grasshoppers for 16 months and we have only ever had a positive experience. Leaving him for the first time as a 10 month old baby was extremely difficult but all of the staff helped him settle in so quickly and made him and us feel like part of the family. He became attached
to his key worker to the extent that he talks about her all weekend and now doesn't want to leave her to move to the next room. There is always a wide variety of activities for him to complete and the outside space is superb! His speech and confidence have grown massively in the last few months and it's a pleasure picking him up each day and seeing how happy he is!

Over the last eight years my son and daughter have gone through this nursery. They were both very happy and content. The management and staff are all very approachable and extremely friendly. Both of them were sad to leave and us as parents will miss not going to nursery on a day to day basis and the
staff are like an extended family to us. Both of them have been given a good start in learning basics to get them ready for school and all aspects of growing up.

Grasshoppers are the most caring, considerate practitioners around. They take the time to understand your child's individual needs. The settling sessions are fantastic and give you total peace of mind. My son has developed in leaps and bounds every week since joining.

We are very happy with the experience we have at the nursery on a day to day basis. My son clearly enjoys coming and has settled very well in both rooms he has been in. His recent transition to Ladybirds was well supported with gradual visits to integrate him to the group. He is always full of smiles
when I pick him up and this makes us smile too! The range of toys and activities is well thought through and it is lovely that he gets to spend so much time outside now. The staff have all been really supportive and my son clearly likes being around them.

Corinna is the Manager of Grasshoppers Day Nursery in Aylesbury. Corinna has a wealth of experience, having worked at Childbase Partnership since 2005 and gaining a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

What makes our nursery is our team- we are an extended supportive family. We all share the same passion for supporting our children to learn and develop through a blended curriculum.
