Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

Children always come home happy.

Our child is very happy at Grasshoppers. He started at 13 months old and is now 2 and a half years. He has made wonderful progress in all aspects of his development, and we believe it is also thanks to Grasshoppers. The friendships he developed with children and adults and being involved in fun group activities, playing, singing and dancing. Staff are always very welcoming, caring, kind and able to answer questions anytime. The Parent Zone app is great, as it puts a smile on my face to see our boy exploring and having fun when we are at work., We're very happy that kids spend time outdoors too! Highly recommended.

Always take the time to talk to parents if there are any worries. Reception staff are always helpful and make the parents and child feel really welcome. My little boy has settled really well in his new room.

The staff at the nursery are very friendly and helpful. Our son loves playing outside and has had a lot of support to adapt to his new environment. We are very pleased that our son is attending Grasshoppers and I think the parent zone is a brilliant idea. To keep parents up-to-date with the little one's progress.

Great members of the team in pre-school. They all made my daughter feel welcome and involved from day one. One of the nursery practitioners provides great feedback after every session, treating/recalling all children individually. I am also provided with great feedback online to comment on. The nursery team leader made settling in and understanding parental aspects easy and comfortable. Another one of the nursery practitioners is always welcoming to my daughter, ensuring she is settled and answers any questions or queries.

A very caring environment where the staff members clearly care a lot for the children they are taking care of. Communication skills are very good from the nursery and as parents we were kept well informed on our child's day/how she had been in herself.

Fab first parents evening. Staff appeared to be confident and knowledgeable on my son. They seemed positive and provided in depth information for me. The evening was organised well and I didn't have to wait to be seen!

Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff and we have and will continue to sing your praises and recommend you at any relevant opportunity. All that is left to say is thank you!!

We are very lucky to have found Grasshoppers. Our son is very happy here, has lots of fun and asks for the staff at weekends too. For us as parents, knowing that he is happy and able to learn and explore in a safe, clean and friendly environment makes it much easier getting on with our work day. We find the email communication with the next weeks planned activities useful and appreciate the daily feedback too. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly nursery. My child is always very well cared for and happy. Everything is very straightforward and documented. Lots of different activities to keep baby's happy. My child has very good connection with her key worker and that puts me in ease to know she has somebody to turn to when she needs while I am in work.

Very professional and nice members of staff, lovely rooms and my child loves coming here. They have an amazing garden where children can play and lots of equipment and toys. They serve healthy food I am really happy my daughter goes to this nursery.

Both my children have attended Grasshoppers and it was by far the best nursery we looked at both children love going their and we're never upset to be left their the staff are fantastic very caring and my kids loved them.

Both my boys love/d nursery and are/were very happy there. They gained valuable social skills interacting with the staff and loved the food. The opening hours make work-life balance possible and even though expensive it provides good opportunities for development and play

Thank you so much for offering my son and daughter such a wonderful experience at nursery. They love to come to nursery and always seem to come home talking about all the fun things they have done in their day. I have observed that my daughter's talking has now developed well while at nursery and my son has appreciated the social learning from the setting. Unfortunately, due to me taking maternity leave the children cannot continue to attend the nursery. We are very excited about having a new member of the family on the way. Thank you again. Grasshoppers is such a lovely nursery setting and I would recommend it highly to anyone who asked.

We have been impressed with how well the staff have ensured a smooth transition for our 2 daughters who started last September. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. We are kept very well informed of our children's day and also of the weekly/monthly goings on. It is comforting to see the creative planning displayed in the pre-school room and how the staff follow the children's interests. The rooms are always set up with well thought through attractive and stimulating activities when we drop off in the morning. Both our children are happy to be left with the staff.

Amazing caring staff, good management. Lovely teams in rooms, menu is good, overall outstanding service from the nursery. If I could give 6 stars I would, excellent. Always clean and tidy rooms.

My son loves going to nursery twice a week and adores his key worker. He seems to do a good range of activities and his key worker is always happy to give us a good update of what he's been up to. Everyone in the nursery is friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with our choice.

We are happy with the grasshoppers nursery. When our son started there at 13 months old we were anxious to start with but he settled very well thanks to the support from the staff. The meals are well balanced and the out door space is excellent. We're very happy with the building, equipment, staff as well as the activities for the children. We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents, even the car parking is easy! very friendly staff but very professional too!

My son has been attending Grasshoppers Day Nursery for 9 months now and he loves it. My main priority is for him to be happy and he really is. The level of care is truly amazing, the staff show so much love towards him and all the other children, it is fantastic to see. My son is learning through activities and play that are tailored to his needs and interests, The food provided is brilliant, he even eats meat (never does for me). The garden is amazing. The management team are very welcoming and I feel that we are always kept up to date with info on our son's learning. Thank you Grasshoppers for a fantastic experience.

My daughter has attended Grasshoppers Aylesbury since August 2014 and it is a safe and secure facility and she bonded with her key worker very well. It has a fantastic outdoor space and great decking area in the bumblebee room where children can still play outside if the garden area is too wet to play in. The Refurbishment and extension to the Nursery finished just as my Daughter started at the nursery, the rooms are big and facilitate many different activities such as Music corner (which she loves), Home Corner, Book Corner and many more. The staff are friendly and the food menu is fantastic and has many different varieties of dishes. My Daughter is only leaving because she received a place at a Pre School that is attached to a School which has an outstanding reputation. If she had not received this place, I would be more than happy to leave her at Grasshopper's until school age and I would recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for a friendly, Professional caring environment for their child to attend.
