Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

I cannot recommend Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) enough. Each member of staff provides an outstanding service and as a team they make the nursery setting a remarkable one. It is very clear that each practitioner has a passion for ‘what they do’, they provide exceptional care and education to all children and also demonstrate a very solid relationship with us, as parents. My daughters attend the setting and I am exceptionally happy at the way each practitioner delivers brilliance at all times. My daughters have come on leaps and bounds and that is because of the passion that each individual has. I am exceptionally pleased at the way they are preparing my eldest for Reception and cannot recommend the School Readiness Programme anymore. It is very clear to see that each practitioner has a passion for ‘what they do’ and I’m so proud that both my daughters is part of Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) setting.

It is really refreshing to be met by the lady in the pre school room at the early morning drop off. We have no tears and have to remind my child to say goodbye when she is there as she is so good at distracting him and always so positive and smiley.

The key workers are exceptional and our daughter really connected with them. When she was in Bumble Bees room, her key worker has done a fantastic job in helping her with speech and language development, for which we are forever grateful. Our daughter will be going to school this September and I know they have made her feel secure and happy to be ready for school and to thrive. We are very impressed with Grasshoppers comprehensive preschool program, it's absolutely brilliant! We are feeling very lucky and blessed to be part of the Grasshoppers family.

Grasshoppers Nursery is a very welcoming place that helps and supports children at the early stages of their life. It is accommodating to children who may have additional needs and looks to work alongside parents and other agencies that a child may be involved with. The facilities are great and food offered is nutritious and varied.

They have been so great with my son and he enjoys being there.

My son has been going to Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) nearly 6 months now attending one full day a week. He loves his day there and all the fun activities he gets to do. I have seen a big improvement in development even in these 6 months. All of the staff are so friendly and brilliant with the children. I would highly recommend this nursery to all parents.

I am very happy with the care of my daughter at the nursery. The staff are very friendly and I know she’s well looked after while I’m at work. Her key worker sends pictures and updates of her development every now and then which is lovely to see and from her documentation clearly spends time interacting with her. The nursery is always clean, full of activity and welcoming.

My son is a very fussy eater but he loved the food there.

Well what can I say, Grasshoppers has been amazing from day one. My once shy little girl has flourished because of the amazing team they have here. I really can't recommend them enough.

I can not rate this nursery highly enough. My daughter has been here since she was a baby and has loved every minute. The staff are lovely and caring and really created a home from home.

My child enjoyed their time at Grasshoppers nursery. Although they did not attend all week they still learned a lot and had fun. I was happy knowing my child was in great hands and they could socialise with other children and get messy. The nursery staff and management were very helpful and encouraging. There was a real sense of family for all that attended and extra care for the children. My child was happy during their time at Grasshoppers and I would highly recommend for others.

Well - where to start? Grasshoppers Day Nursery provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for the children and their carers so from the moment you walk in the door you feel at ease. My grandson started at the nursery back in May and took a while to settle in but at all times the staff, in particular, his key worker, were patient and supportive of his needs. He enjoys his time there and the improvement in his self-confidence and progress he has made is evident to all who know him.

The nursery provides a variety of activities and resources for the children to explore, encouraging them to try new things but also to be content in playing with familiar toys. My grandson loves being outdoors so the lovely garden and play area provides an excellent space for him to enjoy.

I cannot praise the nursery staff enough for the warm, caring and nurturing environment they provide - despite being one of many children in the Bumblebees room I feel my grandson is made to feel special.

My son loves it here. He enjoys the food, the construction area and the garden the most! He is happy to demonstrate the yoga he has been taught at home and his love for learning is truly nurtured by all the Grasshoppers, amazing staff.

Everyone is so friendly, yet professional. I love how all staff know the child. The interaction with parents is also amazing, I’m kept so informed on things she’s doing and she’s improved so much in such a short time.

I cannot sing the praises to Grasshoppers in Aylesbury enough! My little girl moved from Bumble Bees to Pre-School in May/June and the transition was excellent. Not only has she settled quickly but she cannot wait to go to school. Most importantly her main carer has done brilliantly with my daughter's speech and language development. The main carer is consistent and persistent in getting the best of my child. My daughter now has conversations, unlike before!

My child has been coming to the nursery for a while now started off in caterpillars and is now in his last room in butterflies, as a parent couldn't wish for a better nursery to be bringing my child the care that's provided is out of this world all the girls that have worked alongside my child have done extremely amazing made him feel welcomed what grasshoppers provide in all rooms is warmth, love it feels like home from home. My son loves nursery and what the girls have provided is outstanding support for him which I and my husband really appreciate. Staff in office and on reception are always welcoming in mornings always smiling and provide a warm feeling and atmosphere to the nursery. Thank you to you all.

Great staff, great rooms which are spacious and full of entertainment. The menu has changed to not include sugar which hasn't gone down well but the summer menu is much improved. The management team are great and help when needed.

My son has been attending Grasshoppers since January 2018 and I have found that the patience, enthusiasm and care shown by his key worker and other staff members in his room have meant that, after an unsettled start,m he is now enjoying nursery. I have seen a huge leap in his development and would never hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone else.

Staff are lovely and caring with everyone, kids and parents. They are very creative and innovative with new weekly games and menu for the kids, very professional staff.

My Son is in the Catapillars room and the ladies that look after him are fantastic. They are very encouraging, caring and friendly. It makes me feel very reassured leaving my Son in their care. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery!
