Mulberry Day Nursery is a beautiful property converted to create a happy, sociable nursery where every child is treated as an individual. Much of the character has been retained to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class facilities.

The nursery has four main playrooms for individual age groups with sensory areas and quiet areas. There is a discreet CCTV system which enables parents to view their children when they first settle into nursery life, and an intercom system for security.

Outside there is a fully enclosed (safety surface) garden with age appropriate activities featuring a Mud Kitchen, construction area, gardening area, sandpit, music area, art studio, digging area, bug hunting area and an outdoor classroom. The nursery has a new Roof Garden which was completed in 2013. They have now achieved their Green Flag for Eco Schools.

Our little girl has been going to Mulberry since September and she absolutely loves it. Her speech and creativity have come on so much and she has made lots of friends. The staff are beyond lovely and caring - everyone knows our little ones' name even if they aren't in her room, which is a lovely added
touch! They are very responsive and you can tell they really care for our little one. Cannot recommend Mulberry more.

We are really impressed with Mulberry nursery! My daughter took a while to settle but the staff in her room were so caring, nurturing and persistent in ensuring she is comfortable and settled well and now my daughter strolls into her room, excited to go to nursery, giving everyone a big hug as she walks
in! This gave me so much confidence in the staff and nursery knowing my daughter is so happy.

The staff at Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead) have been amazing ever since my little one joined in October 2022. The nursery really does ensure your little ones are at ease, settled, as well as happy during their day. Allergies are taken into consideration, menus are prepared accordingly and necessary
measures are taken. The attention to detail to your specific child is most definitely there. We have had a great experience to date with all staff who have been nothing but accommodating to any questions we may have, routines we would like followed as well as the flexibility to occasional day changes. A lovely personable nursery overall.

Our daughter has settled in amazingly at Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead) and she is always super happy on nursery mornings and when we collect her at the end of the day. The staff are all friendly and take the time to update us on how our daughter is progressing and any landmarks. The facilities are
great and there is plenty of opportunity for fresh air and outdoor activities, and it is great to know our daughter is getting three nutritious meals a day!

Our son has had a great two years at Mulberry. The staff are very caring, attentive and friendly, with some even going above and beyond the usual to create better bonding with the children. It is always a good sign to hear your son talk about their carers all the time!
We absolutely love the fact that
we could go into the rooms for pick-ups and drop-offs, which allowed us to have a better understanding of the dynamics and even 'spy' on him for a few seconds, it helps a lot for parents to see where and how their child is evolving.
Personal situations are also cared for in a very respectful and private way which is very appreciated.
We are planning to put our second child there too!

Amazing nursery, very loving staff who clearly care deeply for the children. All the teachers knew every child's name, even those outside the room/class they were supporting. Very pleased with this nursery, wouldn't send my little one anywhere else in Maidenhead!

A wonderful nursery, that really cares about the children and staff. My little one loved it here, they were very accommodating and helpful when it came to irregular eating and potty training. Plenty of activities to keep children engaged, encouraged exercising, music and instilling confidence. Experience
with Bumblebee and Pre-School rooms. Staff always very happy and calm.
We would never have left them only we moved away. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Mulberry nursery are so nurturing. Both my children went there and have very different characters. One extremely shy and one very social and confident. Both were looked after and nurtured in the appropriate ways they needed to be. They both loved it there.
My son who was in the bumblebee room said
he didn't want me to pick him up early afternoon as he wanted to be with his friends and have his snack!
The Bumblebee team are just absolutely second mums to my children. We leave our kids for sometimes 8-9 hours per day for the whole week and the staff get to know our child just as much as we do.
We will miss you all but I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

We are absolutely over the moon with our experience at Mulberry. We moved our children here in September and have loved every minute. The setting is welcoming and well-organised but the staff make it amazing. The personal attention that both our children receive is off the charts. My daughter in particular
had had a hard time settling in at her previous nursery but is now excited to go and comes home full of stories about the things she has learnt. Both have made major developments in social and literary skills and we get lovely, detailed and helpful feedback from the team on a regular basis. Honestly couldn't recommend better!

Mulberry is such a warm, caring environment, where the staff care deeply about the children. My son was there for 2 years and couldn't wait to go. It feels like a family and a real community. The facilities are great and just the right size to have lots to do for the kids but still feel intimate enough
and not overwhelming. We got extremely thoughtful advice on how my son was interacting with other kids, his opportunities and how to accelerate them - he was sent home with a writing aid completely unprompted. The assessments and app are a great way to be kept in the loop. Where Mulberry really stands out is their people - their professionalism, how much energy they put into making the nursery fun and updating parents, including them in events such as Mother/Father's day teas and a summer fete. The graduation was exceptional and emotional for parents and nursery staff. Couldn't recommend them more!

Thank you all for a wonderful decade of care for our children. Our three children have all thoroughly enjoyed their time at Mulberry which has been like a home from home since 2013. They have been looked after by an absolutely brilliant group of people over the years and we are so grateful to each and

Both my boys have been to Mulberry so we have been there virtually daily for circa 5 years. We did not know the area before moving to Maidenhead so Mulberry was a bit of a gamble for us but we properly fell on our feet. I am honestly sad that the boys are leaving now! The staff have become like our
second family. They are professional, empathetic and kind. They have guided us through the ups and downs of nursery and I couldn't have been happier with their support. Thank you Mulberry!

Our daughter joined Mulberry in September 2021 after we moved to the area and attended until the week before she moved to reception in September 2022. I cannot praise the staff enough for helping with her transition. Once she was settled my daughter loved going 3 days a week and the bond between not
only the children but the staff were amazing to see. I had full faith that they had her best interests at heart and really cared about her development and wellbeing. My husband and I saw an amazing transition in her daily conversations and more recently her handwriting skills which we give full credit to the Mulberry team for. We cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for us the past year and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

My son has been at Mulberry since he was 18 months old, until his final week at preschool.
Mulberry have not only been extraordinary, but somehow in my heart they have been some sort of a true extension to us parents. The staff are simply beyond exceptional people, their kindness contributed to our
child's happiness in many ways. Our son developed bonds with the staff, with his friends there too, and amazingly, he was every morning excited to go to the nursery, sometimes even forgetting to say bye-bye to me after I dropped him off at Mulberry. More than that, the head of the staff had been supportive and patient with us, helpful and she is so devoted to her role. All staff were always pleasant to see, talk to and exchange with and relying on them made me feel safe and mentally so satisfied. Our son will miss them so much and so will I. We love them all. A magical nursery!

Fantastic staff. My boy was asked to leave his previous nursery two years ago because they were not willing to spend the time giving him the support he needed. So happy we found Mulberry. Led by great management, they have instilled a great ethos in the team. My child was given the support he needed

This nursery should be rated outstanding. I started sending my son there since he was 10 months old. The ladies there were amazing with him. I feel so confident every day thinking that my little boy is with a group of kind, friendly people. They really are doing their best to look after the little ones.

My daughter has settled so well in the nursery. Everyone is so lovely and polite, and they really do treat children as individuals and they make sure their needs are met. Also, its all about learning through play, so staff provide amazing activities and learning experiences for children, amazing! At

Both of my children attended Mulberry from 9 months until they started infant school and they both loved it, as did we as parents.
The staff are lovely and caring, the food is varied and healthy and the facilities and space are good.
We had only positive experiences and would definitely recommend

I can not praise this nursery and its staff enough. They have been amazing in looking after my son and helping in his development; he has changed so much since starting and improved in all areas. We have used Mulberry Day Nursery for the last 7 years for both our children. They have both enjoyed their time here, the staff are friendly and engaging and, prior to Covid, we always received full feedback on what the children had done all day.
Covid proved challenging for the nursery but they adapted
well and my younger child continued to be happy with their time here until they finished very recently.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone looking for an all-inclusive set-up with good opening hours and a great location if you're a commuter into central London - only 5 minutes walk to the train station.
I feel that my children were/are fully prepared for school life, with lots of communication and interaction around how each of the local schools are set up. They have taught the children basic numbers and letters as well as 'non-academic' subjects such as dressing themselves independently which is all necessary for a successful start to school life.

Kristina Edgson

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Kristina is the Manager of Mulberry Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 16 years. Kristina has an NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Leadership and Management and has worked at Childbase since 2015.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
I really like the homely feel we have here and that it feels like a second home for so many. I like our Preschool room and the fact it has lots of different rooms so the children can focus on different things in each space. They also have their own outdoor terrace upstairs to be able to explore things they can’t necessarily do in the shared garden. Our main priority in the nursery is to help the children feel safe and secure so they are able to thrive throughout their learning. We have a large outdoor space which we utilise a lot and ensure the children experience the outdoors in all weathers.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am really proud of my team for the way they build bonds with the children and make the nursery feel like this is their second home too. We have achieved our Eco Flag with distinction which the children are passionate about. We really enjoy getting to know all our families and making the parents just as at home as the children.
