Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead)

Mulberry is fantastic. I would never hesitate to recommend this nursery. Before signing up to Mulberry I visited 5 other nurseries in the local area 3 of which had 'Outstanding' Ofsted reviews. I've also seen 3 other nurseries in the local area and nothing compares to the experience we had at Mulberry!

Mulberry has been an outstanding environment for my daughter. As a parent, finding a place where my child is genuinely cared for and supported in her growth is paramount. Her key worker stands out not only for her professional expertise but for the genuine love and passion she brings to her role. She has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure my daughter is well looked after. One of the many instances that impressed me was her innovative approach to engaging the children. On the day of a rainbow, she clicked a photo and printed colouring sheets that captivated the children's interest and encouraged their creativity. This out-of-the-box thinking demonstrates her commitment that go beyond the standard curriculum. Drop-offs and pick-ups have become more meaningful. She takes the time to share insights about my daughter's day. I have never felt rushed in these interactions. Her efforts have clearly made a meaningful difference in our lives and for that, we are truly grateful.

I have sent both my children to this nursery and both of the children absolutely love coming! They are there from 7:20-6:00 sometimes and they’re not crying about me leaving them there all day. Staff are extremely helpful and supportive. One of my girls was diagnosed with autism shortly after leaving the nursery and the support I got from the team here was amazing in helping my daughter to transition into school. The food is good and I feel calm knowing that I am leaving them with kind, motivated and caring individuals. They’ve been amazing. I know the fees are steep and similar to other nurseries but if you need childcare that won’t let you down, it’s worth it. Also, one amazing thing is the air conditioning the rooms have in the summer. Not all nurseries have one. My children really benefitted from it.

But it's really the staff that make it special. They're wonderful. I was very nervous dropping him off when he first started, but the staff at the nursery immediately put me at ease and were so supportive and understanding. They give you reports every day on what they've eaten and how much, as well as regular updates on what your child has been up to (including photos). It truly is a superb place to send your child.

He loves going to the nursery so much that in the morning when I drop him off, I don’t even get a turn of the head from him to say bye-bye, as he’s always very eager to give his key person or staff in the room a big hug!

My child was at the nursery from one until she almost turned five. The carers were incredible, and she made amazing connections with most, if not all, of them. They took time every day to tell you all about our daughter's day and made each child feel special. I couldn't recommend the place enough.

The nursery really helped smooth the transition to school, getting him ready for the new chapter.

We could not be happier with our experience at Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead) the staff are incredibly supportive and kind, to my son and myself, especially during the first few weeks of him settling in. I am so pleased we chose Mulberry’s and our son is having the experience he is having, he thoroughly enjoys all the staff in his room and everyone else involved. I feel very reassured I am going to work in the knowledge that our son will have a great day with a team that really cares.

I have been consistently impressed by the quality of care provided at Mulberry Day Nursery. From the very first day, the staff made my son feel welcome and comfortable, and he has developed strong relationships with them. Their patience, warmth and enthusiasm have helped him to thrive in all areas of development, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. As a parent, I am really happy with the range of resources and facilities available, including outdoor play, books, and toys. I also appreciate the regular feedback provided every day by the staff when I pick up my son in the evening. Overall, it has been a very positive experience for him, and I would highly recommend Mulberry nursery to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing and stimulating experience for their child.

Our little girl has been going to Mulberry since September and she absolutely loves it. Her speech and creativity have come on so much and she has made lots of friends. The staff are beyond lovely and caring - everyone knows our little ones' name even if they aren't in her room, which is a lovely added touch! They are very responsive and you can tell they really care for our little one. Cannot recommend Mulberry more.

We are really impressed with Mulberry nursery! My daughter took a while to settle but the staff in her room were so caring, nurturing and persistent in ensuring she is comfortable and settled well and now my daughter strolls into her room, excited to go to nursery, giving everyone a big hug as she walks in! This gave me so much confidence in the staff and nursery knowing my daughter is so happy.

The staff at Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead) have been amazing ever since my little one joined in October 2022. The nursery really does ensure your little ones are at ease, settled, as well as happy during their day. Allergies are taken into consideration, menus are prepared accordingly and necessary measures are taken. The attention to detail to your specific child is most definitely there. We have had a great experience to date with all staff who have been nothing but accommodating to any questions we may have, routines we would like followed as well as the flexibility to occasional day changes. A lovely personable nursery overall.

Our daughter has settled in amazingly at Mulberry Day Nursery (Maidenhead) and she is always super happy on nursery mornings and when we collect her at the end of the day. The staff are all friendly and take the time to update us on how our daughter is progressing and any landmarks. The facilities are great and there is plenty of opportunity for fresh air and outdoor activities, and it is great to know our daughter is getting three nutritious meals a day!

We are planning to put our second child there too!

Amazing nursery, very loving staff who clearly care deeply for the children. All the teachers knew every child's name, even those outside the room/class they were supporting. Very pleased with this nursery, wouldn't send my little one anywhere else in Maidenhead!

We would never have left them only we moved away. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

We will miss you all but I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

We are absolutely over the moon with our experience at Mulberry. We moved our children here in September and have loved every minute. The setting is welcoming and well-organised but the staff make it amazing. The personal attention that both our children receive is off the charts. My daughter in particular had had a hard time settling in at her previous nursery but is now excited to go and comes home full of stories about the things she has learnt. Both have made major developments in social and literary skills and we get lovely, detailed and helpful feedback from the team on a regular basis. Honestly couldn't recommend better!

Mulberry is such a warm, caring environment, where the staff care deeply about the children. My son was there for 2 years and couldn't wait to go. It feels like a family and a real community. The facilities are great and just the right size to have lots to do for the kids but still feel intimate enough and not overwhelming. We got extremely thoughtful advice on how my son was interacting with other kids, his opportunities and how to accelerate them - he was sent home with a writing aid completely unprompted. The assessments and app are a great way to be kept in the loop. Where Mulberry really stands out is their people - their professionalism, how much energy they put into making the nursery fun and updating parents, including them in events such as Mother/Father's day teas and a summer fete. The graduation was exceptional and emotional for parents and nursery staff. Couldn't recommend them more!
