Our 2 years old daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old and we've had a very positive experience so far. She is genuinely happy there, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. The staff are warm, caring and approachable, and they create a lovely environment for the children.
Our daughter goes to the caterpillars (the smallest babies) group and she can not be happier. I genuinely love all her carers. They are wonderful people and create great environment for her. What strikes me the most, and it differs from other nurseries, is that every baby gets a completely individual tailor made approach, unique to each needs. No need to train your baby to sleep at specific schedule, like they ask in other nurseries, the wonderful staff will do everything they can to make it as easy and comfy for baby' s needs specifically. Same goes for the meals : your preferred weaning method will be respected. Just a really wonderful place, where i can be calm my baby is safe and happy.
daughter feels comfortable and excited to explore every day. We've also seen great progress in her speech and social skills, which we know has been a learning focus as of late. The nursery's app is very useful to keep track of what / how much she's eaten, and nap times, as well as to communicate with staff and management. They really take time to get to know every child and they accommodate to their needs and adjust to their personalities. We'd be more than happy to recommend this nursery!
Excellent nursery. Our kid loves the place and surroundings. The staff are amazing very invested in the child well being and always looking for ways to improve on the child's development opportunities. Our son thoroughly enjoys all activities here and he loves the food so much, to be honest from what we hear he eats so much better at nursey compared to home. The staff are friendly and constantly updates us with our kids well being and development milestones . Administration and all communications are very prompt. We definitely will recommend Mulberry to friends and family in the area.
Excellent care, excellent attention, excellent development. The staff are genuinely invested in the children's joy, safety and wellbeing. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care received across the nursery.
Excellent nursery that I can highly recommend. I was nervous about choosing the right place but re-assured with Mulberry thanks to a recommendation from my antenatal course leader. The nursery took a child-led approach to settling sessions, ensuring that we are both comfortable, and the key worker has been exceptionally attentive to her needs, which helped her settle quickly. All staff is very welcoming and the key worker is very invested in my daughter's development, giving her lots of development opportunities and giving me regular and insightful updates. My daughter is happy there and her confidence grew massively in no time. Two things stand out to me with Mulberry: everyone I met worked there for years; and that it feels like it's a family environment, where my child is thriving.
We would certainly recommend to friends and family if and when they are looking for a nursery.
Excellent nursery, which both our children have attended. Staff are well trained, incredibly friendly and provide great care for the children. Really impressed with the level of attention to detail in helping the children grow and develop. Feedback on activities and development milestones is updated regularly and the overall administration of the nursery is very high. The low level of staff turnover has also been refreshing compared with our previous nurseries. Facilities and spaces are excellent.
We moved from another nursery and have been so happy with our decision. The staff were amazing at helping our daughter settle in. They always have great activities on for the children and the activities change daily. They accommodate each child's needs and are always quick to get in contact if there are any questions or anything you need to know. We love the fact that they spend so much time outside too. For easter, a local farm lent some duck eggs so the kids could learn about ducks and see the ducklings hatch. They also recently had a zoo being some animals in so the kids could touch and learn about snakes, frogs, centipedes and snails. Our daughter is very happy here and so are we. The staff are brilliant too. Very friendly, welcoming and also very helpful.
Highly recommend this nursery.
We have been very happy with Mulberry Nursery. Our daughter started when she was 1 years old and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and made us feel at ease leaving her when returning to work. She loves the staff and has a great time doing all the activities they set out for her and her class. She is a very active child and never bored at nursery.
I am so pleased with Mulberry Day Nursery. The staff are all so lovely, friendly, informative and they genuinely take the time to get to know the children and their unique personalities. They all go above and beyond to help the children thrive and the parents feel at ease. Great facilities and really healthy balanced menu. Highly recommend.
Being a mum to a premature baby with continued complications, making the decision to send our little boy to nursery was not an easy one, but with the support from the management team and our key workers we were fully supported to ensure that the transition was as smooth as possible for both myself, my little boy and the team.
Our little boy is thriving at Mulberry, everyday he is happy to go into the Caterpillar room and loves playing and learning with the team. The team our working to support his development and working with our community team and visual assistant to ensure all his needs are being met. They have also applied for grants and bought extra special toys to continue his development. We cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for us! Its a very special place!
Mulberry Day Nursery is an exemplary nursery. The team are incredible, warm and nurturing and get to know each child as individuals. When my son joined from a different nursery there was so much care given to his settling in to ensure that he would thrive and make friends. Within a couple of days when I dropped him off every member of the team - from support staff, to front office, management and all of the rooms knew his name. My son has developed so much in his time there and is always incredibly proud to show me what he's been doing each day - the staff always encourage the children's interests and provide useful feedback so that there is a real link between home and nursery learning and exploration. The management and room staff are all wonderful - and have helped us more widely including with school admissions. I would have no hesitation recommending Mulberry to any prospective parents!
He had a helmet, 8 allergies and couldn't walk when joining. The team were amazing, they really built his confidence and not once did I feel unsure with the care he received. On moving to Ladybirds room, he still wasn't walking at that point but again he was gaining confidence and building strong bonds with the team. When my son went to Bumblebee room he was given the care and attention needed for him to really settle. He never had any allergic reactions whilst, at Mulberry, the kitchen staff are brilliant (he's had 3 over 13 months since we've moved)
Mulberry is fantastic. I would never hesitate to recommend this nursery. Before signing up to Mulberry I visited 5 other nurseries in the local area 3 of which had 'Outstanding' Ofsted reviews. I've also seen 3 other nurseries in the local area and nothing compares to the experience we had at Mulberry!
Mulberry has been an outstanding environment for my daughter. As a parent, finding a place where my child is genuinely cared for and supported in her growth is paramount. Her key worker stands out not only for her professional expertise but for the genuine love and passion she brings to her role. She has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure my daughter is well looked after. One of the many instances that impressed me was her innovative approach to engaging the children. On the day of a rainbow, she clicked a photo and printed colouring sheets that captivated the children's interest and encouraged their creativity. This out-of-the-box thinking demonstrates her commitment that go beyond the standard curriculum. Drop-offs and pick-ups have become more meaningful. She takes the time to share insights about my daughter's day. I have never felt rushed in these interactions. Her efforts have clearly made a meaningful difference in our lives and for that, we are truly grateful.
I have sent both my children to this nursery and both of the children absolutely love coming! They are there from 7:20-6:00 sometimes and they’re not crying about me leaving them there all day. Staff are extremely helpful and supportive. One of my girls was diagnosed with autism shortly after leaving the nursery and the support I got from the team here was amazing in helping my daughter to transition into school. The food is good and I feel calm knowing that I am leaving them with kind, motivated and caring individuals. They’ve been amazing. I know the fees are steep and similar to other nurseries but if you need childcare that won’t let you down, it’s worth it. Also, one amazing thing is the air conditioning the rooms have in the summer. Not all nurseries have one. My children really benefitted from it.
But it's really the staff that make it special. They're wonderful. I was very nervous dropping him off when he first started, but the staff at the nursery immediately put me at ease and were so supportive and understanding. They give you reports every day on what they've eaten and how much, as well as regular updates on what your child has been up to (including photos). It truly is a superb place to send your child.
He loves going to the nursery so much that in the morning when I drop him off, I don’t even get a turn of the head from him to say bye-bye, as he’s always very eager to give his key person or staff in the room a big hug!
My child was at the nursery from one until she almost turned five. The carers were incredible, and she made amazing connections with most, if not all, of them. They took time every day to tell you all about our daughter's day and made each child feel special. I couldn't recommend the place enough.

Meet the Team (1)
Kristina is the Manager of Mulberry Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 16 years. Kristina has an NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Leadership and Management and has worked at Childbase since 2015.
I really like the homely feel we have here, and it feels like a second home for so many. I like our Preschool room and the fact it has lots of different rooms so the children can focus on different things in each space. They also have their own outdoor terrace upstairs to be able to explore things they can’t necessarily do in the shared garden. Our main priority in the nursery is to help the children feel safe and secure so they are able to thrive throughout their learning. We have a large outdoor space which we utilise a lot and ensure the children experience the outdoors in all weathers.
I am really proud of my team for the way they build bonds with the children and make the nursery feel like this is their second home, too. We have achieved our Eco Flag with distinction, which the children are passionate about. We really enjoy getting to know all our families and making the parents just as at home as the children.
