Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Reading

We've had a fantastic nearly 8 years at this nursery, looking after both our daughters from 1 year of age until they reached school. I cannot compliment the staff enough, they are caring, conscientious, dedicated, reliable, and our daughters love them. They deliver a wonderful programme of play and learning, day in day out. They've seen us through COVID, heat waves, potty training, and everything in between, working with flexibility, agility, and kindness to ensure our girls were happy and looked after. The food is great, the garden is lovely (if small), and if we had a third child we'd certainly send them there. Highly recommended nursery!

My son always leaves here happy, extremely pleased with his development and just the overall care and attentiveness shown. The girls are great and you can't ell it's not just a job for them! Super Super, highly recommend!

Staff is excellent, caring ladies looking after the kids, finding nice activities to engage them. Thank you all for your great job and care!

Little Pioneers - or more specifically, the staff at Little P, have been an absolute lifeline. The level of support we receive from every member of the team has been incredible. Each person we have had the pleasure of dealing with have treated both my girls with such love and care, you'd think they were their children. My daughters have absolutely thrived, and the team, especially their key workers and the staff that have taught both, have gone above and beyond in ensuring they feel support, healthy challenge and so much fun.

Lovely afternoon, really appreciate the effort for Mother's Day, such a wonderful thing to be invited to and to have the opportunity to get involved with the children's activities.

Daughter is very happy here and really enjoys coming in. Feel like she is very well looked after. Would be great if the app was used more to inform me of when she has used the bathroom.

Overall, I am happy with the nursery. The child is looked after, always full of activities for the day. The child is happy and willing to go to nursery, which already a good sign. In relation to her personal development and achievements, we do receive a monthly review with advice, which is nice. The only time I do miss attention to the child is when key worker is off (sick/holidays).

The whole team are great they take time to listen to you and make sure that your child is reaching every goal and milestone. They also make sure as a mother that you are doing ok. I was having a hard time and they always took time to check in an always had a helping hand if I needed anything such as my child needing to get picked up at a different time or change a day if I needed to go to an appointment. They always put your child needs first before their own. I know first hand it isn't easy working in a nursery, sometimes things get missed and that's fine because we are all human so I only ever voice something if it needs to be voiced and every time I do they are all amazing. I can't thank them all enough for all their help and support with my child's needs. Also taking the time to make sure us parents are doing ok to. Much love. X

Our daughter recently started in the Baby Room and the care and attention that she's received has been outstanding - thank you so much to Becky, Sarah and Amy for making her transition to nursery such a positive experience. Communication has been excellent from Day 1, with frequent updates on how she's doing, and it's been lovely to see her engaging in a variety of new activities that are helping her development.

Our first child has just started at this nursery and we were so nervous to send her to nursery, but the Little Explorers carers have been brilliant at helping us all through the process. This is such an important milestone in our parenthood journey and we have felt as supported as we could be and our little one has been making progress fast. So grateful for the hard work that the carers put in, their patience and kindness.

It's still early as it's her 2nd month there but we can see her growth.

She looks forward to going to Nursery and thats all down to how shes been cared for at the nursery. Would happily recommend this nursery to other parents!

We are so grateful to all the lovely staff for giving her such a happy and memorable start to her learning journey. I would highly recommend Co-op Little Pioneers to any parent looking for a caring and supportive place for their child.

The girls have created a fun event for all parents to enjoy. They have carefully thought about the event to ensure all the children are around. All staff are happy and helpful. It has been well enjoyed for everyone.

Children have a good time there, but they go for outings only few times a year (2-3).

We love this nursery. My daughter has been attending this nursery for 1.5 years and loves it there. She loves coming to nursery and thrives there. All staff is very caring, and we appreciate how they spend time ensuring kids make a bond with their key person. Our daughter has already been in three rooms and settled really well in all of them. They offer great communication (great balance of comms through the app but without asking the staff to be on the iPad all day!) and we love the fact that the food is healthy and cooked on site. We have already signed our younger daughter to start later this year.

My little boy has been attending this nursery since a young age and I really cannot fault the place. Such lovely, warm, welcoming staff who always have smiles on their faces. The facilities are great and I'm always kept informed should I need to know anything. Very good updates at pick-up summarising the day which is appreciated and the app is updated regularly which again is important to my wife and I. Overall I'd highly recommend Little Pioneers as a great option for your little ones. Special shout out to one staff member in particular who's been great. Thank you all.

We have used Co-op Childcare in Reading since 2018, for both our children. They have been exceptional every step of the way. They are massively elevated by the quality of staff, from cleaners to managers, cooks, practitioners and everyone, they have been brilliant. I cannot recommend them enough. I had one complaint in 6 years, the poor parking set-up, which is more about my convenience than any level of child care. I can not recommend them high enough.

My son has been attending Little Pioneers since December. He absolutely loves it here and expresses excitement every time we go through the front door. All the staff are involved and kind, knowing his name and asking after him. The communication and support from the service has been excellent.
