Bright Horizons Abbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool

I visited many nurseries before settling on Abbeymore. The facilities are excellent with lots of parking, lovely outside space and lots of equipment and activities for the children. But what makes it stand out from other nurseries is the people. The management team are excellent, very understanding and spends regular time in the rooms alongside staff and children. The staff are absolutely incredible, they are all so friendly, and understanding and many of them have worked there for a long time. They feel like an extension of my family, that they truly care about my daughter, and I feel the joy from them as she reaches her milestones. The app they provide is excellent and the updates and photos I receive always make my day, and they go to a huge effort on the open days. It’s difficult having to leave your child in regular care of someone else while you are working, but every time I drop her off I feel comfortable and fully reassured that she is being taken care of.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Abbeymore. The staff in preschool is amazing, the whole team works very well along with the children and gets them involved in a number of activities. Great environment created for the children, lovely big garden for outdoor play, experienced and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We absolutely love Abbeymore and our children do too! Our son was at Abbeymore for 2 years and our daughter started in November. Our son loved his time at Abbeymore and developed so much in that time. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Our daughter has struggled to settle in, however we have been supported with the transition at every step. After some suggestions from the manager, she is now starting to enjoy her time there and the staff are trying everything to help. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of our children and for helping them grow in so many areas!

Our journey with Abbeymore began when our son was 2 years old. The staff has truly set it apart. Their dedication and care for the children is evident in every interaction. From the warm greetings at drop-off to the detailed updates at pick-up and through the app. As a parent concerned with nutrition, it was reassuring to know that our son was being served nutritious meals prepared with care. The menu reflects a balance of health and taste, ensuring that little ones are not just fed, but nourished in every way. Each day is filled with a variety of experiences designed to stimulate young minds and bodies. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, our son comes home excited to share all the new things he has learned. They focus on teaching the children different cultures the enrich their understanding of the world. We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose this wonderful nursery and preschool, and we are immensely grateful to be a part of the Abbeymore family.

Our daughter really likes going to this nursery. She receives a lot of attention and care. The staff always takes into account my requests for wishes in child care. And I would especially like to note the general manager of the nursery, she is a very attentive and understanding person, always tries to do more and more to make children and parents feel as comfortable as possible.

Abbeymore has great facilities and accessories. It has been the ideal place of learning for our son, laying down the foundation from Nursery to Preschool. They provide extra support when needed; the staff members are amazing and build good relationships with the children, constantly helping them with their development. Kudos to the team and many thanks for all that you do.

There's plenty of outdoor space, and the staff are great at providing varied learning and play activities. He has made good friends here and enjoys all the food. Our child has a medical condition and SEN, and at times, the staff have had to go above and beyond, and at all times, the care has been excellent. The SENCO has been great at coming up with plans and activities and supporting us.

My daughter thrives in this nursery where the staff are great - very supportive, nurturing and fun! The outside spaces have just been renovated with new mud kitchen and lots of free play activities. It’s a very happy and vibrant place that my daughter just loves.

Staff care about children, console them when needed. Overall, it’s been a great experience with my child, even arranging additional settling sessions and flexible with nursery times.

My son started in the 0-2 years room (Blossoms) at Bright Horizons Abbeymore Day Nursery in January this year. We were keen to have him interact with more children his age which had been impossible during the lockdown. So we enrolled him for two days a week. The settling in sessions were brilliant and in two weeks he was happy. He has been attending Abbeymore for almost four months now and the change in him is enormous. His language has greatly improved, he interacts with people more confidently and has made strong bonds with some of the staff. He is always excited for his nursery days. He also absolutely loves the food (including the new menu) and I’m glad he gets a wide variety of food at nursery that he is unlikely to eat at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abbeymore to other parents for their little ones.

We are so happy with Bright Horizons Abbeymore as our choice for our son's preschool. Even with all the new restrictions and changes due to Covid in the last year, they have managed to make sending our son to school a smooth process. He absolutely loves his time at preschool and can’t stop talking about everyone and it’s lovely to see what he’s been doing that day with the feedback forms he comes home with. He’s come on leaps and bounds since he started and I know a lot of that is due to his time at school and the lovely staff that work with him.

Our daughter has attended Abbeymore Nursery for almost two years now and she loves it! The staff are excellent and she receives brilliant care from all of them. Our daughter is always telling us about the different activities she does at nursery and it's been great to see how these activities are helping her learning and development. The food provided always sounds varied, healthy and tasty which is really reassuring. I'm really pleased we chose to send our daughter to Abbeymore Nursery.

Our daughter is very happy at the nursery. The staff are friendly and professional. They handled the recent pandemic efficiently, and we always felt safe sending her there.

Really happy with the nursery. Staff are amazing and my son really enjoys going. He loves the large outside space where he can burn off a lot of energy.

My son attends Abbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool and he is extremely happy - the staff are warm and welcoming to us on a daily basis. The nursery is clean and well presented and I understand it's just in the process of finishing a revamp which has made the rooms more practical for the children and staff. There is a large garden located at the front of the building which my son loves and has learnt to ride a bike.

We are very happy with the care our daughter receives at Abbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool. In particular, we are incredibly pleased with the care, attention and empathy she received whilst settling in over the summer.

I have found the nursery to be communicative anytime there is an issue with my daughter which is very important to us. The staff are very professional, warm and caring since my child joined the nursery back in February 2018. I have noticed a lot of development within her. As there is room for improvement, the nursery is taking the right steps towards this.

My son loves coming to nursery and is very happy coming. I am very happy with the care he is given. The staff are always very friendly and happy and my son has very good bonds with all the staff. I would recommend Abbeymore to anyone.
