Cherry Trees Day Nursery (Cranfield)

As our son’s time at Cherry Trees Day Nursery is coming to an end, thought it would only be right to leave a review. He has been there for four years starting when he was only 8 months old and we really cannot fault anything. Throughout his time there he has been so happy, the staff have given him such great care and he leaves there a confident and bright little boy. Cherry Trees have provided him with fun and interesting activities that have helped him develop and given him a good grounding to starting school. His introduction to ICT along with the STEM activities has been fantastic. The last sixteen months have been a particular challenge but again managed so well by all the staff in their flexible and innovative approach to ensuring our children stay safe and well. We will all miss Cherry Trees dearly and very grateful for the time our son has spent there.

My son has attended for nearly a year and I’ve been so amazed by the compassion and professionalism of all the staff. The nursery is modern, well equipped, with a fabulous garden and the activities they put on for the children are varied and well thought through. The staff pay particular attention to the individual needs and interests of the children and they have been amazing with my very high spirited son. My son took a few months to warm up to going to nursery, not helped by reduced socialisation through lockdown, but his key workers have been so caring and attentive. He shows such strong emotion towards his key worker and all the staff - it’s so lovely to see such a bond and know he’s going to be happy while I’m at work. There are a number of rooms, more than other nurseries around, which means the groups are really age-appropriate. The nursery has also been very flexible as I’ve required changes to my son's pattern and extra days here and there, they’ve always been able to accommodate.

The staff at Cherry Trees Day Nursery are all so lovely. My son's key person, in particular, shows a real interest and care in his development and well being. The activities and facilities at the nursery are excellent and my son loves being there.

Our sons time has come to an end at Cherry Trees and we could not thank the staff enough for the caring, fun environment that they have provided for him. Cherry Trees is friendly and clean and we have never doubted that our son would be taken care of. Throughout the pandemic their communication was brilliant and when they reopened there was not a doubt that it was a safe place to be. It’s been an absolute pleasure to use Cherry Trees and we could not recommend it enough.

My son has had a wonderful three years at Cherry Trees. He was a bit apprehensive at first but the key persons in each room were so patient, caring and really looked after him. All the staff have brought the best out of him. He has grown in confidence and has made some firm friends. All the staff go above and beyond and make sure that you as a parent feel that your child is in good hands. My son has now started school and is a confident, happy boy. He has gained all the skills he needs for happy school life. Thank you Cherry Trees.

My husband and I are very grateful for the excellent provision of care provided by Cherry Trees during the COVID19 outbreak, we could not do our key worker jobs without their support. The nursery manager and regional manager, as well as our daughter's key workers, have always engaged and worked with us to meet her needs both pre and post-pandemic. Childbase Partnership as a company have gone out of their way to ensure during these dynamic times that my daughter's needs are met and remains settled and happy.

My little one took a long time to settle into the nursery environment, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive in making her feel at home there. I have no worries that her needs are being catered for and would highly recommend them.

We’re so glad we chose Cherry Trees and will be sending our second child there when the time comes. Highly recommended!

My son loves to play in the big garden outside, but especially loves the walks they take to the shops and the woodland trail behind the nursery. He always comes home full of stories about what he’s done that day. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. Thanks, Cherry Trees!

Our son is definitely developing into an amazing little boy and a huge part of this is the staff here at Cherry Trees.

Cherry Trees has made the whole process very easy and comforting for both me and my daughter. She is my first so was nervous about leaving her but the settling in sessions were brilliant and the staff have been amazing. I am able to call and check up on her if I need to, they update the app regularly so I can see how she is progressing throughout the day and also her end of day summary is detailed so I can find out everything I need to know. I have been able to trust the nursery which is what I wanted. Also, she has developed so well.

We are so happy we picked Cherry Trees Nursery. Our daughter has settled in so well. She was extremely shy when she started but has been supported throughout and now is much more confident and comfortable. She has built a great relationship with her key worker and has learnt so much she loves telling us about her day and we love seeing updates about her progress and what she has got up to online. We especially love the outside space at Cherry Trees and the freedom the children have to spend time outside which our daughter loves. The team at Cherry Trees are always helpful and are happy to answer any questions.

Cherry Trees has helped my daughter settle into nursery so well. Before she joined she was quite unconfident and shy - she has now become so confident and good around other children.

A lovely, warm and welcoming team of people, always welcomed with a smile. The staff are brilliant with my son who has a number of allergies, I never feel worried about leaving him. Ladybirds team always give me a debrief each day and I find it really useful. Great bunch of people!

The staff at Caterpillars have been more than amazing. My child loves being here. I know he is well looked after and well observed. We had a situation recently when he wasn't well and they responded promptly and in the best manner, and also looked after me when I got upset. Such a reassuring experience.

It means a lot to us as parents that he is in a safe, caring environment so we never have to worry while at work.

Our daughter has spent 2 1/2 years at Cherry Trees, it was an easy decision to choose them as our childcare provider as their professionalism, friendliness and superb facilities shone through at our viewing. We think they have provided a lovely nurturing environment for her to learn and grow, provided interesting activities and topics to learn about. The staff are a great example to the children showing dedication and enthusiasm. Their care has been excellent, from tackling fearful drop-offs to handling tricky situations such as toilet training. They have also been on hand to give advice and tips to try at home. Food is varied and interesting whilst also following healthy and sustainable guidelines. In all, we feel we have placed our daughter in the very best of hands.

Cherry Trees is an excellent nursery. During my daughters time here, she has grown into a confident and happy little girl. She has progressed through all rooms and I can say we have been gutted to leave each room and staff set:- I needed have worried though as they are all excellent. The work the staff put in to engage and develop the children is second to none and I'm in no doubt she is ready for her next journey at school.

Absolute amazing facilities inside and out, all staff throughout the different rooms are very friendly, helpful and caring.

The staff are all friendly and the setting has a fun warm energy.
