Cherry Trees is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art nursery on the Cranfield University site.

Providing large spacious rooms and a fantastic garden, children’s imaginations are inspired on a daily basis by the established and experienced practitioners.

Cherry Trees also offer the extracurricular activity of Starshine Yoga every other Monday and Tiny Mites music on a Thursday.

A fully inclusive service is provided to all families offering a convenient service.

" Superb " nursery. As a parent, you want the best for your child and you can't get better than Cherry Trees.
My Daughter has been there 18 months, she now has so much confidence in everything she does. The team have encouraged her so much with her previous poor eating with the lovely meals provided.
My only regret is not putting her in Cherry Trees earlier.
The staff are amazing, they are calm, fun, caring. They are a great Team who work extremely well with each other and the children.
The activities are great, the children get to learn science, Tennis, Different cultures the list is endless. The garden is outstanding and my daughter loves being out there all the time.


A lot of thought and effort went into Christmas, was amazing the time and effort made with Decoration and Father Christmas was so lovely.
Graduation was so emotional and the team made the most amazing effort to prepare my daughter for her big adventure to school.
Parent zone is fabulous for tracking progress.

The best nursery. All the staff are amazing. My daughter loves it and feels at home. All my daughter's keyworkers so far have exceeded expectations and show so much genuine interest and care.

My now 3-year-old son has been looked after at Cherry Trees for the last year.
I have been really impressed with the staff in Bumblebees and have never had to worry that my son wouldn't have a fun packed day. Staff are very approachable and friendly and are great at what they do. My son always happily
chats through what he has done (always a lot!) in the day. He talks about the staff as his friends and laughs about silly things they have done. The children have plenty of space to play and learn inside and out and my son loves the shared atrium space which is currently set up as a beach. Children are outside in all weathers thanks to the well-equipped garden.
My son has enjoyed every nutritious meal he has been served. Staff always have time to chat to you at the beginning and end of the day and give feedback daily. Management are also very visible around the nursery as are the office staff if you have a query. I wouldn't hesitate and do recommend Cherry Trees to everyone.

My only child has started nursery (previously looked after by my mother). She has not previously played with other her age group of children nor been close to other people apart from Mummy, Daddy and Nanny. When I brought her into Cherry Tree Day Nursery and left her on her own for an hour I picked
her up, with her crying her eyes out. I thought she will never get used to the nursery - but the staff has made a miracle! In a couple of sessions, my kid is happy to let me go and she will play with staff and other children. Such an amazing job! Staff are all friendly, warm and really care for children. Best decision I have ever made to take my little girl to this nursery. 120% recommended. I can go to work knowing my child will be looked after at all times.

I've had many opportunities to pick up my child at different timings so I could see many of their activities; how the children are playing, how they are preparing for lunch, the resources and equipment used for learning activities. I am very happy with the nursery, with the staff and with the way my
child developed.
I appreciate every time how they inform us about different issues they find in other children so that we are aware and observe our own child. I like the activities they promote to involve the parents like finding and bringing objects to start with different letters every week, tea party with mum, Christmas family party. This is the third nursery my child attends and it is the most appreciated by us. Thank you.

Cherry Trees is a beautiful and purpose-built nursery. The staff really care for the children and their development. Each of the rooms has direct (and safe) outdoor connection, appropriate for age-level and interaction between ages in certain occasions. The hot meals served at lunch and tea are really
well-balanced and healthier than I seem to be able to get my son to eat at home yet he absolutely loves them from the Cherry Trees staff. I have a toddler moving into the preschool year and early next year will have an infant joining them as well. We love the facility and the people!

This is the best nursery you can find around the Milton Keynes area. We have been really happy with staff, facilities and activities. It has been lovely to see his learning journal and staff have been brilliant with helping my son to settle in.

My 18-month-old daughter moved to a new room in November and took a few days for her to settle and bond with her key worker but now waves me goodbye without a tear and seems extremely happy and settled.


The staff are friendly and professional, I feel very reassured when I leave her in the morning.

I received a lovely Xmas bag on Friday, it has lovely Xmas cards and handprint cookies and handprint 2018 calendar.
They are so beautiful and the message on a handprint calendar made me cry a very touching message and it is so true. I like it very much.
Thank you very much
for doing these special creations for a special occasion. A great idea and lovely effort made.
Thank you also for a Cherry Trees Xmas party on Saturday, it was good fun and Santa was amazing, the singing lady was brilliant too.

My son started nursery here when he was just 6 months old. Very scary to leave him for the first time, however, all the staff have been great. The key worker is fantastic with him and he really enjoys all their company. The feedback provided daily is great and detailed. Every change to menus you're

Amy is the Manager of Cherry Trees Day Nursery in Cranfield and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector since 1994. Amy has numerous qualifications such as BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, BTEC and SEND training and has worked for Childbase since March 2010.


What is your favourite feature of Cherry Trees?
The open spacious rooms, as well as the atrium which is a communal space where all age groups can learn and explore together.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
From when we made the move from our smaller nursery building to our current purpose-built eco setting; the transition was flawless and was followed by a huge growth in occupancy. My team are just amazing; although we have grown over the years by double, we've never lost the 'family feel'. Everyone is so positive and caring towards each other, and recent events have shown just what a united team we are. Everyone is keen to play their part and contribute to our success in whatever form that might present itself. Most recently it has been about adapting to huge changes and they have done it so well, I'm very proud to be a part of their team.
