Cedars Day Nursery (Leighton Buzzard)

My child started in September, and I've been so impressed. The staff are friendly, full of energy and clearly love what they do. I'm confident my child has the best care; she comes home happy and chatty about her day. The planned activities stretch her, and her understanding of the world, confidence and vocabulary have ballooned in recent weeks. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our son was at the nursery two years and he has developed massively. Great support from everyone at Cedars. Great healthy food cooked for all children with all allergies. The staff go above and beyond to ensure all children are developing. We are very grateful for everything to the nursery and the great progress our son has made.

I highly recommend the nursery and will be very sad when she leaves this setting for school next year.

Cedars Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery. My daughter always has a lovely time when she’s there. The staff are amazing, really dedicated and caring. Great quality of food and brilliant facilities, especially the garden.

Cedars is a wonderful nursery. Everyone is so kind, and really feels like a warm hug the moment you enter. They do lots of different fun and creative activities for the children every day! They really care and are very well looked after. My son first attended this nursery back in 2017, and now my daughter is currently there. Both of my children have excelled and my daughter is extremely happy at this setting. Every room is just amazing, especially the preschool room where they really provide great preparation for school. The staff are nothing short of incredible! My son still talks about his time there to this day and my daughter loves going there and is really thriving. I can't thank the staff enough for making their time at nursery so fun and enjoyable. It’s such a good feeling to leave your children in a friendly and safe environment, knowing they are well looked after. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Staff are always so nice and positive and polite. My daughter loves coming to nursery. She loves all her nursery staff. Staff always answer any questions we might have. Always informed if any issues straight away.

Overall, we’ve been very pleased with Cedars Day Nursery and both our children enjoyed attending. There are lots of great activities for the children to do. The number of posts on the app has reduced with our second child and so we don’t always know how his day has been.

Cedars is a great nursery and my child loves coming in. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and we feel very comfortable in leaving our child here. His confidence has grown and the activities Cedars do with the children are appropriate and engaging.

There is great communication, you can easily get updates on what your children are up to and they go to great lengths to help prepare children for the transition to school.

Amazing nursery! We just moved to the area and I was so nervous about putting my daughter into a new nursery, but she’s settled in really well and loves the staff and her new friends. They also have lots of different rooms for the children to explore, great outdoor space and delicious meals! Also, love the updates throughout the day I can get through the app, really reassuring to see what she’s up to.

Cedars Day Nursery is an exceptional nursery and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff are caring, friendly, professional and enthusiastic about their jobs. The nursery has wonderful resources, particularly in the garden, all of which are well maintained and well presented. The team offer a mix of activities covering a variety of topics and adapt these to suit the interests of the children. The menu is fabulous and I have been really happy with standards across all areas. Both of my children have thrived at Cedars, ten out of ten for me.

Our son started Cedars Day Nursery at 18-months-old and absolutely loves it. Post pandemic we were worried about him settling but the staff really helped with his transition. The setting is professional, clean, welcoming and engaging. The app to receive updates about our son is in real-time so we really feel in the loop during the day. The outdoor space is lovely and the kids are out playing a lot. We feel very lucky that our son attends Cedars and couldn’t be happier. We would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Friendly, attentive, and caring staff. Always fun events for children to get involved in. Activities are varied and the care for the well-being of the children is amazing. The staff know the children so well and are great at supporting all learning needs. Management are efficient and run the nursery so well. During the difficult Covid period measures were taken safely and handled well.

Cedars always go above and beyond in every aspect.

My son has settled in fantastic at nursery and is doing really well. I love the app and all the updates and being able to see and read about what he has been up to all day is great. My only suggestion would be (and this may not have been done because of Covid) but it would have been nicer to sit and be taken through his first few days for example how payment works. Talk face to face about him and set expectations I guess. I would have preferred this than having loads of emails and forms to fill in.

I am very sad to say goodbye to the staff and wish everyone well. We will all miss you.

The outside space is huge and they have lots of activities available for the children to play and learn!

Every member of staff is kind, helpful and so caring. I couldn’t have wished for better care for my girls.
