Our child has been attending Busy Bees at Teddington for over three years and we have found the nursery to be a safe and pleasant environment for him. The nursery staff supervising the children have done a good job in attending to his day to day needs, showing affection and care. They have been very
proactive, helpful and fair in addressing any social or behavioral issues that might take place in the rooms. The management team are very good at keeping parents informed of weekly events and are approachable and proactive if parents have any queries or concerns.

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees at Teddington since August 2020, joining when she was ten months. The team have been so welcoming and have really supported her introduction to nursery and to her development. Despite facing many challenges during Covid-19, the team have balanced both necessary safety
enhancements and maintaining a welcoming, friendly and engaging place for our little people. Being a smaller nursery enables a really personal feel, it’s great that all the staff know our daughter by name, regardless of being in different rooms. Thanks to everyone for making our daughter’s days so fun and engaging. The nursery is having such a positive impact on her development and she’s changed so much in the last six months, it’s great to see!

I moved my daughter to Teddington Busy Bees after being unhappy with the situation in another local nursery, and I have been so glad I did! She settled so well into the nursery and absolutely loves it. The staff are lovely with her and she's always excited to go. But more than that, I have been so pleased
with the management. They have a very non-fussy, just get on with it approach that really works for us. They let us know everything that we want to know or need to know but it never seems like they are making problems out of nothing, which I definitely felt at the previous nursery. They all know my daughter and seem to work very well as a team. When you're picking a nursery, yes, you care most about the key worker and the child's room but bad management can really impact the whole thing. We love it at Busy Bees.

I’m so pleased we chose Busy Bees for our little girl. It’s always a testing time for parents handing over your little bub, but the girls are very good and are doing a great job helping my little one settle in. Our two year old has been at this wonderful nursery since June 2020. He really enjoys his nursery days and we pick him up full of beans and excited to tell us all about his adventures. The manager and carers are all lovely and have created a fun environment for the children with great resources. The
building and rooms are beautifully maintained, the menu is balanced and varied and the garden is huge and much enjoyed by our son.
The daily updates on the app are so reassuring and the handovers are always thorough. They have managed to create a nurturing haven of normality for these little people at this worrying time and that is hugely appreciated.
We researched and visited a good few local nurseries and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Thank you so much to the manager and the team at Busy Bees - keep up the fantastic work!

Both my children have attended Busy Bees nursery. They’re extremely helpful and very accommodating during these challenging times, communicating with me promptly and following the ever-changing government guidelines. I feel my child is not only safe and happy at nursery but they care about her wellbeing
and are genuinely interested in my child and check in with me. All the staff are professional on pickups and drop offs and the turnover of staff is minimal so my children have consistency of key workers and make progress.

The nursery is great.

We have had our daughter enrolled since she was 10 months old, she has been there for almost 2 years and has always been really happy. Staff have dealt really well with the various transitions and more recently the COVID19 crisis and we have been extremely comfortable with hygiene, safety and most of
all the positive relationships with staff both for our daughter and with ourselves as parents.
The nursery open hours fit really well with our challenging commuting schedules and drop off and pick up has always been an easy process.
If only they were open on weekends!

I often collect my nephew from here. Everytime I arrive I'm always greeted by a very happy boy who has thoroughly enjoyed his day and has trinkets designed to apparently bring his parents joy but are also adept at making my car sparkle. It's a lovely environment very welcoming and safe, with friendly
staff who I assume are caple of frowning however I've no evidence to prove this.

The staff at the nursery are super lovely and attentive. Our little boy has been there since he was 1 and is leaving shortly for big school. The care he has received has been wonderful and he refers to the staff almost like friends. The people are what make this nursery - they genuinely care.

Our daughter has been with this branch of Busy Bees for a couple of years now, and we are very sad to see her move on, but she must start reception in September. We love the place, and couldn't be more happy with her time here. For me, the facilities are good, but the staff (management and carers)
make it amazing.
Facilities: great new outside space, with artificial grass and lots of obstacles. The indoor space is well laid out/designed.
Staff: are all very kind, loving and full of character. The management have done a really good job at hiring, and there are many personalities in the place, so it keeps it interesting for the kids (and parents). My daughter is really attached to the staff, and she will miss them. I found them very engaging, and always keen to speak about my daughter's day. Management have been very flexible with us and our changing schedules, so thankful for that.
100% I would recommend Busy Bees Teddington to anybody. Kids love it, and so do parents.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 6 months old and we are extremely pleased with his development throughout the two rooms he has been in and looking forward to seeing him now go upstairs to the next level. The staff have been very supportive in his development and very attentive in

Our son was recently involved in a situation at the nursery which lead to an investigation. The results of the investigation were extremely worrying and resulted in us losing all confidence in Busy Bees and therefore the decision has been made to pull our son out of the nursery.

The Busy Bees Teddington nursery staff are kind, positive and attentive to our son. He has been encouraged and supported with care through various developmental stages such as walking, eating, talking, creativity and social interaction. Our son is treated as an individual - as are the other children
- and we find this especially beneficial to his happiness. We are pleased with the friendly and personal manner all staff have at drop off and pick up times. Communication from the nursery is frequent. We would recommend this nursery to those living in the area.

I cannot recommend Busy Bees Teddington enough. The nursery is separated into four rooms with plenty of space for children to explore and play. The resources are well stocked and new resources are provided regularly. The setting has a homey feel to it making it stand out from other nurseries in the
area. The staff are friendly and always go above and beyond for the children.

I have two children that attend Busy Bees Teddington, one in Pre-school and the other in babies. The little one took slightly longer to settle but the staff were so nurturing and caring and I know there were always being cuddles given when me and my wife were at work. My eldest absolutely loves coming
to Pre-school. He has a great relationship with his key person and everyone goes out of their way to make activities fun and interesting - we always have so much to talk about on the way home. The menu is great and carefully thought out and having two picky eaters at home, I can only be grateful knowing they are eating so well on nursery days. The nursery has recently had their garden refurbished and it’s looking spectacular - we are an outdoorsy family, so we are extremely pleased with the changes made to the outdoor area. The staff are obviously lead by great example, not only is the management team flexible/approachable but also very friendly. Couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.

My son has been attending this nursery for over a year now and we have been extremely happy as parents. He has come on so much with his speech and development and that has been down to the dedicated and nurturing staff. Everyone is extremely supportive which has made it easier to leave him for the day
and feel confident he is in a safe and fun environment.

Dani Sallis

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2010

My name is Dani, and I have over 15 years of experience working with children. I have worked with busy bees for 15 years, and starting as a trainee, I have gained my level 2 and level 3 qualifications in early years and worked my way up to management.  I am also a mother of 3 young children. I enjoy being a part of every child's development here at Teddington Busy Bees and watching them grow from babies into school-ready children; it is very rewarding. The early years sector has always been a passion of mine, and I strive to achieve a high-quality learning environment for all children and give them their best start. I enjoy spending time with my children.  I look forward to welcoming all new children and parents into Teddington Busy Bees.

Hello, my name is Hannah. I am the Assistant Centre Director here at Teddington Busy Bees. I have service with Busy Bees for 7 years and am a long-standing member of staff here at Teddington Busy Bees. I have been Assistant Centre Director here at Teddington Busy Bees for 3 Years.


I currently hold a Level 3 qualification in early years education which I achieved in 2017 and also hold a team-leading qualification and Level 3 in management. I am currently working towards my Level 5 operations and manager qualification with our Busy Bees training academy. I am also the SEN and behaviour coordinator and I support all staff, children and parents within the centre. I have supported this role since 2018.


I have great experience in all ages and have worked in all rooms since qualifying in 2018. Myself and I look forward to welcoming new families at our nursery in Teddington and giving the children the best start in life.
