I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter attends Busy Bees at Teddington since January and she always looks forward to going to the nursery. She plays a lot and every day there are different activities organised to help her develop. Kids eat very healthy food and they learn to be independent. The
staff are very kind, helpful and caring.

Our two kids attend Teddington Busy Bees and love it. The nursery is really well run and all the staff are so kind, caring and diligent. Great outdoor space for the kids and a real focus on providing fun, diverse and engaging activities each day. Dani and the team do a fantastic job, highly recommended.

Our son has had a hard year as we navigate divorce and custody arrangements. The busy bees staff have been incredibly supportive, intuitive, proactive and empathetic through this difficult time. They have all gone out of their way to tend to our son's emotional well being, learning his favourite things,
slowing down to meet him where he's at and nurturing him through his separation anxiety. They have even made time to tend to my emotional wellbeing. Calling to let me know how he's settled after a difficult drop off, being flexible with pick up and drop off arrangements. Dani is a dedicated and insightful leader of this dynamic group of carers and our son's key workers Brooklyn and Candice are like his fun aunts. I honestly couldn't be more grateful for have their unwavering support.

We chose this nursery due to having such great first impressions from the staff when coming to view. We had a look at all rooms and liked how clean and inviting they looked, and how the older children seemed so enthusiastic whilst getting stuck in with activities.
My baby joined when only 9 months so
was anxious but staff couldn't have made me or my daughter feel more comfortable. During the settling process I was able to see how kind and nurturing the staff were towards my baby as well as all of the others in the room which put my mind at ease completely. I was instantly happy to leave my daughter with the staff.
They were very keen to understand our routine at home and have been following this since she started which has helped massively with her transition into nursery. I am so impressed with their attentiveness and communication skills. I love receiving all the photos each day of her playing happily with activities and love my girls face when she sees her key worker in the morning

Not a great experience.
My daughter had a few settling in sessions which didn't go well, the show around was really good so I wasn't expecting a negative experience at all.
I thought having to pick her up half an hour into the sessions hysterically crying was normal for babies settling into nursery,
which it wasn't as we've had such an amazing experience with her new nursery.
I don't think the baby rooms are supervised enough, the staff don't seem to engage much with the babies at all and it doesn't seem to be the safest environment for that age group. Staff on occasions were unprofessional when dealing with babies.
I therefore made the decision to send her somewhere else, which was the best choice I've ever made. I would just urge people to be mindful when considering this nursery for babies. The older rooms did seem a lot better but that was based off of a show around.

My son joined Busy Bees Teddington when he was 14 months old and I will admit I was nervous - he was our firstborn and he was a very nervous baby that wasn't comfortable in new surroundings and with new people. The staff at Busy Bees were amazing and he has absolutely thrived there - I cannot believe
the positive changes that we have seen and he always has the best day when I pick him up.
What originally sold this nursery to us was the relationships that the staff had with the children. We had walked around a few newer nurseries but none of them had the family feel that Busy Bees had. I remember walking into the older children's room and all of the kiddies coming up to say hello to our boy and they all asked if we had met their siblings in the other rooms. The staff obviously knew all of the children in all of the rooms and that family feel was exactly what we were looking for.
Absolutely brilliant and we are sad to leave. Thank you so much for all your help and care.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees for three years and is graduating preschool this September. Overall, the experience has been positive, the staff are amazing and the care she receives has been excellent.
Like anywhere, there have been some ups and downs but the staff have made every effort to rectify
these small things when they have been flagged and have really been incredible with keeping in touch.
We will genuinely miss everyone at Busy Bees and are so glad that we chose to place our daughter here.

Very happy with Busy Bees Teddington. Amazing staff. They always prepare plenty of activities for the children and they seem to enjoy them a lot! The meals that are cooked onsite are delicious (so told by the kids) and we couldn't have asked for more from all of them.

We joined Busy Bees in September 2023, our children were at another nursery and we decided it was best to change due to the quality of care being provided. The staff at Busy Bees have been fantastic with both of our children. We get daily updates about them and the staff really show they care not only
about the children but also the parents. We feel confident that our children's needs are being met and it's always lovely to hear our kids speak so highly of the staff.

The staff have done a fantastic job stepping up to cover leave. They are always responsive to calls and let us know how our children are doing. We often receive calls with urgent information and the handover is comprehensive. We receive lovely photos of our boys playing and learning. The staff are all
extremely supportive, particularly with our youngest who likes a lot of one-to-one care.

We have had a lovely time settling in. The teachers really take a personal interest in our baby and have developed a bond that is comforting to see.

Our daughter joined Busy Bees Teddington just after turning 2 years old. Since then, she has thrived so much and is now a very bright girl. We feel that our daughter is much loved by the staff and her peers and is always happy to go to nursery. Our son just joined too and he loved it since day one.

We are very pleased with the staff support and nurturing of our daughter at Busy Bees, Teddington. All staff take an active interest in her when we drop her off and pick her up and she has started to settle in very well. We are pleased to hear about the different activities and see pictures of her enjoying
them. We continue to appreciate hearing about the new activities the nursery offer her and the feedback we get about her interests and development. The staff are always great to deal with and our daughter loves being in their company.

We are very happy with the nursery and our daughter is happy. She develops well, she loves to go there. Knowing that your child is comfortable there, is very reassuring.

Our daughter has been with Busy Bees in Teddington for 8 months now and she absolutely loves her time there. Before she started, she wasn't great around other kids but now she plays with everyone and is a really confident little girl. The staff are great and listen to my requests and address the concerns
I do have in a really timely manner.
I've recommended the nursery to all my friends.

My son has been at Busy Bees since September 2022 and he absolutely loves it and has achieved so much in the last few months with a lot of patience AND understanding from the staff at the nursery. I cannot thank all the staff enough for what they have done with him getting ready for reception in September

My son has been attending Busy Bees since he was fifteen months old - and is now almost three years old. He is very happy there and has forged strong relationships with the other children and with various members of the team. I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the professionalism in all correspondence,
and the flexibility when it comes to adding extra days, altering days, etc. We very much like that there are four different rooms, so he has always been grouped with his peers and never with children much older or younger. We welcome the updates we receive throughout the day. But, more than anything else, we are thrilled that he enjoys spending time there.

Dani Sallis

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2010

My name is Dani, and I have over 15 years of experience working with children. I have worked with busy bees for 15 years, and starting as a trainee, I have gained my level 2 and level 3 qualifications in early years and worked my way up to management.  I am also a mother of 3 young children. I enjoy being a part of every child's development here at Teddington Busy Bees and watching them grow from babies into school-ready children; it is very rewarding. The early years sector has always been a passion of mine, and I strive to achieve a high-quality learning environment for all children and give them their best start. I enjoy spending time with my children.  I look forward to welcoming all new children and parents into Teddington Busy Bees.

Hello, my name is Hannah. I am the Assistant Centre Director here at Teddington Busy Bees. I have service with Busy Bees for 7 years and am a long-standing member of staff here at Teddington Busy Bees. I have been Assistant Centre Director here at Teddington Busy Bees for 3 Years.


I currently hold a Level 3 qualification in early years education which I achieved in 2017 and also hold a team-leading qualification and Level 3 in management. I am currently working towards my Level 5 operations and manager qualification with our Busy Bees training academy. I am also the SEN and behaviour coordinator and I support all staff, children and parents within the centre. I have supported this role since 2018.


I have great experience in all ages and have worked in all rooms since qualifying in 2018. Myself and I look forward to welcoming new families at our nursery in Teddington and giving the children the best start in life.
