Bright Horizons Mount Vernon Day Nursery and Preschool

I cannot praise the team and facilities at Bright Horizons in Mount Vernon enough. The staff are very caring, professional and flexible. The site is clean, spacious, inspiring and fun. There is an on-site chef preparing fresh food daily, and there is a huge range of activities for the children. My son is nearly four and has been there for 7-months. He absolutely loves it. He is my fourth child, and I can say hand on heart this is the best nursery that I’ve used.

The report I receive at the end of each day really does make a difference, I know exactly what they have eaten, played with, learnt and all you can think of.

I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for loving childcare.

Assistance with child support and learning as well as observing protocols. Some of the staff members are excellent.

I highly recommend this place to any parent who's considering sending their child to a nursery.

The nursery environment is very stimulating and each day there are special clubs the children take part in, in addition to the varied activities already provided. My youngest son is a big fan of the cookery club and each week is VERY excited to share with us the food he has made!

The children's rooms are full of learning and fun things for the children to do. The garden is perfect for the children to play together in good weather. The facilities are fantastic. I have so much trust each time I drop off my daughter knowing that I can go to work and not worry about her. I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Mount Vernon for just over one year. The nursery has done wonders for her confidence, development and social interactions. The staff are all brilliant, and each one of the managers takes a keen interest in every child. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Everything that is done with the children is both fun and educational, and every day our daughter comes home talking about what fun things she has been doing! The nursery keeps parents informed of developments, and what activities they have been doing. Finally, nothing seems too much to ask from any of the staff. If you have anything particular that you would like help with (for example toilet training, learning about becoming an older sibling etc) they will tailor things for your child’s needs. We cannot recommend Bright Horizons Mount Vernon highly enough. Thank you all!

I would like to say that I am overly happy with this nursery and the love and care they show my daughter that I couldn't be happier. My daughter goes to nursery so happy and I know she has the best time when she is there. All the staff are lovely and very good with all the children. They teach the children so much and even when the children get upset they start singing to make them happy again which I think is so lovely.

We switched nurseries after a year due to moving house and was anxious about changing our child's routine. However, from the minute we walked in for our appointment and we were met by the amazing carer, we knew we had made a good choice. There was a real sense of family and community when we visited and this is apparent in the approach the nursery takes every day. He has great room leaders and staff in the 'hedgehog room' and all staff we encounter are friendly and professional. The weekly review of the rooms is a nice update to receive and the on-going activities and engagement ideas are refreshing and enjoyable. Would totally recommend this nursery to anyone considering it.

As a first time mum, sending your child to a nursery is always the most daunting experience. However, since the moment we walked into Mount Vernon Nursery we felt at ease and 1 year later we feel the same. Not only is the space and rooms for the nursery amazing, the food is made on site and the fantastic nursery staff, key workers and management team are all incredible. Leaving my daughter here for the first few times and then full time I was always supported and so was she. She has transitioned to other rooms within the nursery and the time and effort to help settle her in has been second to none. What I also like is that everyone at the nursery knows me by my first name and everyone is so pleasant to be around. It really is a nursery that has a family feel and each day I am more than happy to know that my daughter will be well looked after. Big thank you to the Mount Vernon Team!

This nursery has the most professional and honest staff working here. They give you so many details of your child's day, how they have learned and what they have been taught, what they have eaten how long they have slept. The staff are so warm and welcoming. My child enjoys getting up in the morning and can't wait to get going to nursery. Sometimes I don't get a goodbye - off he goes to play when we get there. I'm so happy my child is happy and I feel so safe and secure knowing my child is getting the love and care to help him grow.

My son has been going to Mount Vernon Day Nursery now for 9 months. He started at the age of 6 months and he has really developed his motor and social skills during his time there. The staff are exceptionally good with him and the other children and prepare a range of different activities for them each day.

Excellent level of care - the carers build close relationships with the children and take a keen interest in their development. Activities are varied, including arts, sports, Spanish and baking. Our son is learning lots and loves it there. We have a great relationship with the staff and they give us a daily report on our son's activities and any challenges he experienced.

We have had a brilliant experience at this nursery. We have been sending our child here since he was 2 and a half years and now he is 3 and a half. His transition from baby room to preschool has been great. It has been smooth with no problems at all. I have been informed by the care they provide with all the staff involved. They have been so supportive throughout. They have always listened to our concerns and helped us throughout. We would highly recommend this nursery to anybody. We will miss you all - thank you.

Our boy leaves to go to big school tomorrow! He's been here since he was 8 months old and loved coming here every single day. He's grown into a confident, well behaved, articulate little boy. Teachers have been so caring and nurturing; I didn't worry about his safety or wellbeing whilst I was at work. The food is amazing - he always has seconds! I am always surprised by how clean the nursery is - very important to me! Thank you for memorable, happy times!
