Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool

We recently moved to another nursery in Kingston, and care and attention were our top priorities. Thanks to recommendations from friends, we found the right and safe place for our child.

The nursery manager and deputy manager are very experienced. You really feel like you are talking to another mother who understands you, but at the same time they are very professional and experienced. They are always smiling and very solution-oriented.

Because of their experience, they have seen everything and they solve things in a very practical way. They support you with anything, from sleep routine to settling in.

The whole team is also very helpful. Even in urgent situations, like ad hoc days or sudden changes in plans, they always respond quickly and try to help.

They also take children's safety very seriously, which gives us peace of mind.

Staff know all the children, even if they are not in the same class, and they always try to support you.

My son is very happy here, and that means ever

We're extremely happy with how well supported our daughter is at Elm Grove. She has attended since 10 months and the staff in each room she has been in have been brilliant in getting to know her and create an environment she feels comfortable to be herself (now 22 months). The management team are great and the communication is always clear. Highly recommend for a fun and nurturing nursery.

My daughter joined Bright Horizons a month ago and we've had nothing but positive experiences so far. The managers Claire and Charlotte are just excellent - super friendly, attentive and organised. And all the team in the baby room are so lovely. The babies get up to fun activities every day and the app is updated promptly which is so nice to see. I'd highly recommend this nursery.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child - it's obvious how much they care. Our son has settled in so well and absolutely loves going in each day, which says everything. We've seen such a boost in his confidence, social skills, and development since he started, and it's lovely to see how well the team understands his personality and supports him as an individual. It feels like a safe, nurturing, and fun environment, and we feel very lucky to have found it.

Really happy with our experience at Elm Grove so far. Have experienced 2 other Bright Horizons and this is by far the best. Great management (makes such a difference!), genuinely caring staff and nice facilities.

We debated long and hard as to whether our son should join our daughter at her nursery but we're really happy with our choice. He is so happy to arrive at Elm Grove, pointing at the way to go on the way, and I have peace of mind leaving him there knowing he's in such a warm, caring and nuturing environment. The amount of effort put into making sure they enjoy the varied daily activities is wonderful to see, and certainly makes it tough for me to keep him as entertained on the weekend (which is a good thing). Thank you so much for everything you've done to settle him in so well, now we've got to hope he enjoys the other Elm Grove rooms as much.

Our daughter loves nursery. The staff are welcoming and kind. They are flexible and understand that things can change some weeks. Our daughter does lots of fun activities and is encourage to be independent in pre-school. She always has great stores from her day & is learning lots of new things. Reading and stories are important and she is encouraged to keep developing her language.

We have 2 children at Bright Horizons Elm Grove and we are very pleased with the nursery. The classrooms and Gardens are well designed, clean and tidy. The nursery is well run and has very approachable management who are always happy to help and answer any questions. Most importantly the classroom staff are excellent, both our children have really engaged with the staff in their rooms and just as with the management all the staff are friendly and approachable and clearly enjoy working with the children.

We are extremely pleased with the Elm Grove Nursery. The staff are very attentive and caring, and they provide excellent emotional support to the children. My daughter always goes to the nursery with joy and returns home with a smile. She really enjoys the meals too - the chefs cook delicious food. The nursery also has a lovely garden where the children can play happily. She has now completed her 8th month here, and we truly appreciate all the care and support she received.

We are so grateful to everyone at the nursery who really create a family atmosphere and a second home for our children who have flourished so much under their care.

The updates via the app are great to receive as well as observations around his development. The team are full of energy, supportive and genuinely caring. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a nurturing and educational environment.

Can't speak highly enough of all the staff at Elm Grove. Our daughter settled in seamlessly with their support and has loved every minute of it. She's now moved up rooms and also loves her new room. They do so many activities every day it's fantastic.

My daughter started nursery when she was two and a half years of age. She didn't know any English language but everyone helped her. She really likes it and enjoys it. We are so glad for your patience and kindness. Also, they respect our child's emotions.

We as a family are forever grateful to all staff at Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool. Having had two children at the nursery, there is no other place I would rather my child be. They provide growth, play, structure, safety (above all safeguard and empathy throughout). The care given is world class and we knew we are also in safe hands with their top chef as one of our children has a severe allergy. The love/care again has been 100% and has taken the anxiety away due to their safety record.

We would really recommend Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool. Our daughter is making amazing progress and having lots of fun in her class. The staff are really friendly, caring and supportive. Our little girl really enjoys a variety of nutritious meals cooked by the chef. My husband and I love the app as we can see an overall picture of our daughter's day. From what she has been learning and playing to nap times and meal times. What truly makes it stand out is the genuine love and attention the staff give. Every morning, our son is greeted with warm smiles. It's heartwarming to know that he is surrounded by caregivers who not only meet his needs but do so with such warmth and affection.

Our 8-month-old son started at Elm Grove in February 2024 when I returned to work and we have been absolutely blown away by everything this lovely nursery has to offer. The staff in Angelfish are extremely professional and amazing with the children, the amount of thought and effort that goes into every day is outstanding, especially the range of activities they have the children doing. Our son is completely settled in his class and loves going - his movement and social skills have come in leaps and bounds in eight weeks thanks to the patient and supportive staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.
