Our 1 year old son has been going to Toad Hall for 3 months and so far we are hugely impressed with the staff, the level of care and the range of activities the children do. Within a few weeks, our son was happily walking into the room each day and smiling as he saw the staff.
We feel really well
informed about our child's day through handovers, written comments and the online app where it's great to see photos of all the imaginative activities they get up to. It's also great to see the excellent variety of food on offer.
The rooms are kept in great condition and the new outdoor areas are fantastic.
All in all, we're delighted with Toad Hall so far!

From the first time we visited Toadhall in Chessington we got a good feeling about the place. The management and staff are lovely and approachable and provide an excellent service.
Our son really looks forward to going there each time, since there are so many activities going on. Over time he has built
a lovely relationship with his Key Workers and has made many friends.
We receive regular photos and updates which makes it really easy to see our son’s progress.
Overall we are very satisfied we chose this nursery and would definitely recommend it to others.

Toad Hall Nursery is the most incredible nursery I have come across. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive to each child's individual needs. My son has been attending the nursery since September 2017 and he has loved it there ever since and its somewhere I feel comfortable to leave him for
a whole day knowing he's happy, entertained and fed with wholesome food.
The managing staff are amazing and know every child by name and will answer any questions or concerns I have in the most professional and kind manner. Its the best decision I've made to send my son here and I will recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son has been going to Toad Hall since July 2016 and loves it there. The staff are lovely and my son’s key workers have all been/are wonderful. The nursery has also recently gone through a refurb so all of the rooms and equipment are new and fresh and they constantly seek to make new improvements.
They have done a fab job on the new gardens too. I love receiving regular pictures and updates on how my son is progressing and would definitely recommend this nursery to a friend.

My son has been going to the nursery since Sept 2016. We really liked the nursery and have had no problems. Our son appears to be doing well, he has progressed well with his walking and speech and I think this is due to the staff and learning from other children in the nursery. He seems to be interacting
well and is not shy. He is always happy to leave me when I drop him off and I get to see the activities he does during the day through the ParentZone app.

As I'm sure is the same with most new parents, we were worried whether we were doing the right thing when our little man started here at twelve months. But the way that he was (and we were) treated by the staff in the babies room really put us at ease.
He's now just turned two and we've no doubts
at all. Even if he's not in the best mood when we drop him off, the way that he approaches the staff shows that he's really comfortable around them and he seems to be developing really well. They seem to have lots of activities to occupy the kids (some of which we've been told that other nurseries would charge extra for) and the use of the Parentzone app is great - meaning we get to see photos of what he's up to and comments on his development every now and then.
Have to add that the staff are really friendly and welcoming - get an update of what he's been up to every day and any queries are responded to really quickly. Definitely happy with our decision.

Great activities for kids. Very friendly, qualified and understanding staff. Good to see them giving personal attention to kids when kids are a bit cranky.


Regular catch up sessions with parents helps to track progress and identify any gaps.


Place has been refurbished recently and continuously

kept up to standards.


Will definitely recommend this to parents who are busy with 9-5 jobs.

Our child has been attending nursery for only a couple of months so far and has settled in really well. We can already see his confidence growing and are happy with the progress he has been making. We appreciate the online updates that we get. It’s great to see what activities they have been up to that
day. All the staff are friendly and competent and our child seems to have connected well with them. The facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained and it’s great to see that the outside space is being refreshed.

Moving our son from his old nursery to Toad Hall last year was somewhat nerve-wracking for us. We didn't know how our son would react but I needn't have worried as the team at Toad Hall have been amazing. My son has settled well and his development has progressed wonderfully. Toad Hall offers a variety
of activities daily to keep the kids busy and interested and they often hold events to include the parents too, most recently the Christmas fair.


The manager obviously cares about her role, her team and the kids in the nursery. I'm very happy to have my son attend Toad Hall and know that he'll do wonderfully there before starting school in a few years.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. Her transition from baby to toddler has been a very positive experience for us so far. I find the nursery has a wide range of activities for the children. The staff are also very professional and pleasant to deal with. The introduction of Parentzone website
has been particularly useful for us as it documents and informs us on our child's progress.

My daughter has just started, the key worker she has is very reassuring and informs me of any little thing my daughter has done I'm very impressed and pleased with this choice of nursery. The nursery is very safe with lots of security measures to ensure the children's safety.

This is an excellent nursery where my son is happy and well cared for. He started in the baby room and has recently had a very smooth transition to the toddler room. The nursery has good communication with parents. I have a book completed each day stating my son's activities and what he's eaten. The
nursery holds lots of events such as Christmas Fayres, Red Nose Day activities. Both my husband and I are very happy with our son's care and development at Toad Hall.

I have been very impressed with Toadhall at Chessington since the new manager took over. She has made me feel at ease with the way she manages the nursery and her team. The staff are very friendly and informative, and the children are always busy doing fun activities. The manager and the staff are very
accommodating and can't do enough for you, the staff are very approachable if there is anything to discuss and bend over backwards to help you, and suit their services to your needs.
The staff have thought very carefully about the resources for the children and they have lots of choice of equipment to play with and learn from. I would definitely recommend Toadhall Chessington as a fabulous nursery. Thank you for all your hard work the manager and her team :)

Hi, my name is Nakita, and I am the Nursery Manager (Maternity Cover) at Chessington.


With over a decade dedicated to early childhood education, starting as a Nursery Apprentice, I've grown into my role as Nursery Manager, always driven by a passion for creating nurturing spaces where all children can flourish.


My passion lies in fostering a positive environment for our staff, providing them with the support and development they need to create an environment where children thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning from their earliest years.
